I've been frequently playing this game with people in college at lunch time and my days it is so much fun.
These are people who were surprised by my adoration for nintendo; they are ps4, xbox and pc gamers with a less than positive view of Nintendo and its franchises.
They all love it. It's great competitive fun that is easy enough to pick up and relatively hard to master.
Also to the people suggesting this game was a sales flop, it's a new ip that's garnered over 1.6 million sales in approximately 7 - 8 months. I'm pretty sure Nintendo would be happy with that. I'm impressed.
Nintendo LABO is such an amazing concept to me.
I don't have kids. But i can appreciate how fun this would be to build, and just think of how educational and inspiring this could be for young children.
There's so much more technology and engineering prowess at play in every kit; than just cardboard! ๐
I'm so impressed at how the IR camera reads and processes the piano key presses.
The robot build looks insane, it's super geeky. I love it. Reminds me of the kids from stranger things sporting ghostbusters gear. I imagine kids like them would love this.
I really love the characters in breath of the wild - Sidon, the cute lil sheikah (Impa and her sis), all the cute lil baby goron, zora and rito. And Especially all the female protagonists , they were bad*ss. Mipha, Zelda, Urbosa, Riju; they all fought for what they believed in, some gave their lives.
I'm not ready to let go of those characters. But i feel i have projected a lot more emotion and depth to the story and characters than was actually given ๐
I would love to see more of Urbosa. The maternal role she took in watching over Zelda was quiet special and watching her fight in one of the memory scenes really left me wanting more.
Anyways hopefully its not the end to such a beautiful cast.
Im not liking this trend....
NBA
WWE
Doom
And now this, L.A Noire....
So not only are all these games expensive and in some cases more expensive on switch, but the developers also expect the consumer to buy an add on in the form of an SD card to play their games.
I don't tolerate the "my god SD cards are so cheap these days" argument.
First of all when i buy physical i expect 90% of the game to be on the cart ( I know updates are a thing) and for it to be playable out of the packaging.
Secondly if this trend continues it won't be long before people have to buy 2/3 SD cards to fit all their 3rd party games on even when they buy physical iterations.
Finally there's no compensation or gesture in the price point of the software to entice the consumer into being a little bit more understanding. Nope.....they'll charge 60 euros and also tell us to buy an SD card so we can BEGIN their game.....crazy
The presentation of Ittle Dew 2 looks so much better, the enemies look more varied and more of a challenge. Visually it seems like a massive improvement on what was already a good game. โฌ30 though is just too expensive from my perspective. A lot of the eshop games seem overpriced to me.
@Spoony_Tech , @SLIGEACH_EIRE has more than likely finally given in to purchasing a switch.
He consequentially lives in his basement fumbling with his joy cons like the rest of us. Deleting and modifying hateful switch comments long past, consumed by regret. He is a joy-con boy now.
That's what my friend's pet gold fishes uncle who works at nintendo told my co-worker anyhow.
I think "save me Mr Tako" looks like so much fun, the music is beautiful to me.
"Owlboy" visually, is a gorgeous game, it makes me want to work harder and dedicate more attention to drawing so i can someday have the same skill and understanding to create something so pretty. Imagine how hard they work.
I gave my third choice to worms because nostalgia. Although i somehow doubt my brother would be interested in revisiting this with me.
Tip number one don't go to the beach with full pockets....i had no room for the fishing rod so i went "home" to empty them, ran out of energy, slept....woke up and it was gone. I'll never fish in this game out of spite ๐
I used to love playing Worms with my brother growing up through the naughties, back before online was a thing in our house (we came late to the digital age). Even the 3D games were fun for us, i can still remember all the sounds the weapons and worms would make as they were blown off course into the ocean/to oblivion.
I'm 21 now and I'll definetely pick this up, even to subtly reminisce of the carefree good ol'days......you would swear i became 60 while composing this post ๐
Hopefully they have held stock for splatoons launch. If the shortages permit for such a major launch in japan, Nintendo will have made a serious error!
Also i know there's credence behind the stock shortages excuse but I'm really getting tired of hearing it.
Fair play to 2ds for those sales.
P.s currently going to pick up Splatoon. The hype is real ๐๐๐
@Agent721 I'm on nintendo life everyday yet i want that back pack because it looks awesome imo. And I'm a 21 year old dude ๐ i like my fashion especially with a touch of nintendo.

@DavyP @sligeach_eire gives his opinion like everybody else. Granted he can be negative (it's perfectly acceptable to express disappointment with nintendo, yet still love the brand), but he's never personal. Grow up. The irony of you saying kids read news here when you just referenced an x rated experience sligeach may or may not have had with a nun. Trolls belong under bridges with limited internet access....go home.
I'm ok with the shrine and dungeon set up (divine beasts) but more of a good thing can't be bad. I would like more enemy variations, and more diverse final bosses. The bosses (bigger enemies) out in the field are epic but once you figure them out they're pretty straight forward to best time and time again. And the ganon phantoms are amazing but from an aesthetic standpoint are pretty similar.
My biggest gripe was the towns/villages. Everyone of them is beautiful and unique. I just wanted more and even a couple of larger settlements. I was also disappointed that the Yiga clan didn't have their own village per say, offering something similiar to infiltrating Gerudo town incognito because the entire concept of the yiga clan is really interesting, ganon has affiliates/allies that aren't just monsters, that's pretty cool, i think it should have been expanded on/ had more depth/backstory. Everytime i visit hyrule castle town i think of how amazing that town would have been to explore and tbh just look at, i get that's the point, nintendo want you to feel the scale of what was lost, but it made me want for a large settlement/resistance even more.
I might try this. I loved the test punch. I went into it expecting the game to be very repetitive and short lived. I find it really bemusing that nintendo are constantly messing up the obvious, straight forward and small things that a large international company simply should not mess up. From bad pricing (i'm looking at you eshop), to stock shortages (nes mini...i understand they were being cautious with switch), to a shoddy loyalty program, to marketing (bad E3s, disappointing nintendo directs, literally zero advertising for prior hardware), to bad uncessary games....who thought Ac-amiibo festival was a good idea....and allowing unique IPs to die.
