Re: Hideki Kamiya Intended To Continue Bayonetta With Another Trilogy

Shiro28

@John_Deacon I think for Nintendo is fine a million copies. I think for them Astral Chain is an IP that can still grow. SEGA still owns the Bayo series and who knows what they think. But I'm with you, is definetly worrying if investors/ companies don't see value in continuing a series just because it sold less than whatever millions they wanted the IP to sell. We almost lost Fire Emblem if it wasn't for Awakening after all

Re: Hideki Kamiya Intended To Continue Bayonetta With Another Trilogy

Shiro28

@John_Deacon I mean, Bayo 3 sold like 1 million in a few months so that's good I guess. Same goes for Astral Chain. The thing about AC thought, that belongs to Nintendo. They can pretty much have another studio make it, like Kamiya's new studio for example. Unless, P* have tabs on making games for that tittle alone, like how Gamefreak are the only ones to make "main Pokemon games"

Re: Nightdive Studios' CEO Says That Game-Key Cards On Switch 2 Is "Disheartening"

Shiro28

@NinChocolate I ain't talking about the console. I'm talking about the Game-key Card. The card only has part of the game while rest needs to be download as long as you have internet. But if in 50 years like you said, I get a "used" Game-key card, will I be able to download the rest of the game if the servers shutdown?? Will the servers ever shutdown???

Re: Don't Worry, Duskbloods Will Be "Satisfying" For People Who Dislike PvP, Says Hidetaka Miyazaki

Shiro28

So is not a story driven open world exploration game. Is a PvP focused game.....meaning multiplayer focus. You play "matches" and there could be events "during a match"....where's the exploration? where's the open world? is there even a story? This reminds me of Titan Fall and their attempt to multiplayer only game where the story was during a match. I don't know, I'll keep my eye on it but it won't be a day 1 buy for me

Re: Review: mClassic RGB Range - Colour Us Unimpressed With These Upscalers

Shiro28

@Ryu_Niiyama I did the same too. I got it specifically for MH Rise. I honestly could not tell the difference when it was on, but my TV said it was running at 2K so it was definitely working so I just kept it on. Now thought, I played it once without it and I can tell the difference from 2K to 1080p. MH Rise even looked a little terrible. I have yet to try Doom. Since the game runs at 720p it should run at 1080p with mcClassic

Re: Poll: 10 Years On, Which Version Of Zelda: Majora's Mask Is Best?

Shiro28

@mariomaster96 This was my take as well. I play the original a lot so I know the short cuts and tricks to beat the game 100%, but the 3DS made some changes to it that mess up all that by a lot. Just that makes the 3DS my least favorite version to play. However, I still tell new comers to play the 3DS version first, due to the improved graphics and portability

Re: Ex-PlayStation Boss On Switch 2's Name: Nintendo Created So Much "Brand Value"

Shiro28

@pipes I'm questioning that myself. There's is no way Nintendo will abandon the hybrid unless something better comes along.

However, if I remember right Nintendo unveil the Gameboy Color as a brand new system instead of an updated version (like DS to DS Lite or DS XL), in an attempt to hold us off until the brand new handheld, which was a Gameboy Advance, since they still need time to work on it. What if this is what's happening again? What if, this is just to hold us off for another 7-10 years until the actual Nintendo Switch Successor is unveil. I know I'm just spewing bullsht right now, but it just makes me think about it

Re: Japanese Charts: What Successor? Switch Hardware Sales Top 100,000

Shiro28

@Morph Well Sony pretty much abandoned Japan. They used to cater to them while also catering to the west with some tittles. In their mind, catering more to the west will be more profitable. So far that has not worked out specially with the last tittle Concord where they spend 200 million$. Abandoning Japan pretty much gave Nintendo the upper hand in console sales as well as game sales. Almost every Top 10 sales chart is full of Nintendo Switch games. I say let Sony/ Microsoft fail so they can rebuild again and make it better, just like how Nintendo failed with the Wii U and then followed it up with the Switch

"My philosophy is to create a game that offers many different elements and let the player experience those different things in whatever combination they like [...] I want all my games to engage people's imaginations and sense of creativity" This is amazing man. No wonder I love Nintendo games. They do care a lot about the players and their enjoyment...unlike some western developers......

Re: Japanese Charts: There's No Stopping Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake

Shiro28

@MeanBeanEgg That's on Japan bro. Int he UK it's out of the Top 40. Square Enix wants Western money more so if it's not doing so well in the UK is probably not doing great in the US. Regardless, I still think boycots are stupid. If people want to buy a game they should just do it, if not then skip it. But don't do it because of a boycott

Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Xenoblade Chronicles X For Switch?

Shiro28

@Joeynator3000 Now I hate censorship as much as you do, but as someone who played the original in Wii U, the censorship is passable. Just removed the boob slider and modest clothes design for a character with age 13. As far as I know, that was it. Alma, ( or Elma?) and other female characters as well as our own, still had sexy outfits. Not saying to ignore it of course, but at least it doesn't leave a bad taste
