@jerichofr Disagree, as a big Metroid fan, both games 2D and 3D are excellent. Both types of games have their own unique experience, stop with that type of hate and enjoy the game for what it is and not for what it isn't. Is not like they stop making one type of game for the other.

@Deathwalka I feel ya. I just bought me a refurbish Gameboy Advance with backlight, color black onyx, just like what I got from Christmas at the time. I'll use it to play Metroid Zero Mission and Metroid Fusion. I should have never gotten rid of my GBA and my N64 too!

@Slowdive I'm impressed as well, however, I have mix feelings about a Super Metroid remake. The game is literary a master piece in gaming, I don't think there is a need for a remake, but I do love the idea of an HD port, more clear pixels, better sound and more color, or a 2D HD , like a an Octopath Traveler style.

I tried the UK Nintendo store but they don't ship to USA. My only hope now is to wait for some re-stocks if there's any. Damn scalpers

@Rayquaza2510 What are those issues? Also, someone who has played previous MH games and maybe you have too. I'm confident in saying that MH Rise is by far better than World, and is not as easy as World was, especially after 3.0 update. I was not expecting Advance quests! That's like between Highrank and G-Rank

I hope they announce WHEN is the announcement happing. That way I can be ready BEFORE the "bots" hit. Seriously someone needs to do a bot killer or something

I never own a GBC of my own since my parents could not afford one at the time. However, during the GBA era, my cousin found a green GBC outside, after a thunderstorm hit the city. We didn't think it would work but we put batteries in it and the thing was working like a charm. The system was dirty, damage and it was missing the battery cover. Yet the screen was fine and it was working with no issues. I whish I could have bought one during it's time. I always wanted the atomic purple one

I'm hoping that if this is successful, Nintendo realizes that not all games they make need to be family friendly. I'm sure Nintendo has a lot of created talent that can make a good scary/ survival horror game

@-Juice- Funny you said that, because apparently now there are people who are saying RE8 is "not scary enough" and RETURNAL is scary than RE8. lol

I also agree that Zelda will work better as an anime than a live action. For adults thought...I don't know. I think it will work better for young adults and up. It can be just your good amount of blood here and there, but not too bloody. Same goes for Metroid and Fire Emblem

@-Juice- I guess you were not aware when they said "no more hot drinks and cold drinks". Apparently, a good majority of people complained that the item they always forget to take with them are those drinks so they decided to removed them entirely. People complained for everything now. In MH3 I went with a party of 3 to the volcano to hunt Devil Jho and I forgot eat and to take my cold drink with me. I said screw it and power through it, I cart once and was running low on pots, max pots and herbs, I did carted once but in the end we go it. With one herb left and no pots I felt such a rewarding feeling of completion but of course I always made sure I had some ready every time before a quest.

@-Juice- I get what you're saying, but I believe some of those items brought a kind of immersion to the series. Just like you I'm a veteran since Tri (not 3U, most people think that's where I started) Paint balls were kinda annoying yeah but that's what brought immersion to the hunt. The monster "scape" so now you have to "find" it, good thing I put a tracking on it. or the use of cold/ hot drinks. It really makes it feel that you were in a snowy/ hot area. Granted, I love that you don't have to mine several times and the auto combine and no more mandatory harvest quest as an HR1

@Kidfunkadelic83 Same here, I thought it was easy at first compared to previous entries, but then I noticed when I hit HR4, monsters were taking too long too hunt. I have yet to hit HR5 since I'm taking my time enjoying this gem. I haven't had so much fun in MH since MH3

Great story, great characters, fun battle system, great music and in my opinion it has the best Engilsh dub I have ever heard on a RPG game

as far as I know, it was supposed to be 3 games. Each one representing one of the 3 goddesses. Lanayru, Farore and Din, but only 2 were made because of the technology at the time. I really hope they make a remake like Links Awakening but with all 3 games

Yes you could be right, but remember Sakurai places too much details on fighters, like when Kyo Kusanago appears in the KOF stage, he sun mark is on his back, you can't see it but it is there. @CBordo There is a difference in being disappointed that your favorite character didn't make the cut, and getting mad at Nintendo/Sakurai for not putting the character they want. I mean I get it, I don't always get hype for a character, I was not interested in Min Min when she was announce, but that didn't gave me a reason to start hating on Nintendo or Sakurai for that matter, yet I was grateful that they provided a new character for me to play as. People either buy the character or don't, simple as that, no one is being force to buy the character

@TriforceReturns Yes. I normally don't support censorship, unless is justified. In this case it is since the game rating would have change if the characters would have been kept as is.

@Pringles Those were the minorities nobodies who are mad because their favorite character didn't make the cut. They will still download the character, they will stay play the character, and they will still try to main the character until a new is reveal, and then they will complaint about that.
