Ah here we go, the blaming game, because apparently video game makers are responsible for a kids upbringing, not the parents. Seriously if you have a child you are responsible for them not someone else, it's not rocket science

@kepsux is not as bad as people make it out to be, but is not groundbreaking either, yes the narrative is not really great but is passable.
The thing with Other M is that the director wanted for Samus to show feelings and be just another person with feelings, behind that indestructible armor. He said it before the game lunch that's what I was expecting when I play it, and that's kind what I got

@Primarina you gotta be kidding me, Pokemon won't "die" or stop making games just because people lash out at them. In fact they don't even care about it. you know why, because you and I are not their target audience. Their aim is kids, if the kids want a pokemon game, they will ask their parents to buy it, and GF knows that. They don't care what you and I want, what you and I think and what you and I expect of the pokemon franchise. the games, the anime the toys. Pokemon stop caring for their fans after they realize there is much more money to be made when their audience are the kids. on Mobile however, their target audience is you and me, because they know that people our age or older can easily spend money on the apps. People are failing to see this because they consider themselves "true fans". you can have fun with it if you want, but to me Pokemon is already dead

@commentlife I already cancel my Pre-order , right after hearing the natdex demise. Plus, Is till have more interesting games to play, DQ11S, G5, and MHWIB. I also still haven't completed the dex in USUM. Once that's done I can say goodbye to the Pokemon series, except the anime...if it's any good

I'm skipping this Gen for .....I guess you all know, but still have fun to all that will actually buy it, play it and enjoy it. Hopefully Gen 9 brings much better news for many of us

Belive it or not, I made 20hours on the demo alone. Now I HAVE to buy the game. Good thing is on the way thought. But so far I just finish the second dungeon in Link's Awakening.

@BarefootBowser I suggest you play Astral Chain first. Is a fun game and is around 20+ hours long. Dragon quest is longer than that.

I got Monster Hunter Iceborne, Fire Emblem DLC, Astral Chain, plus Links Awakaning next week? I'm skipping on games until next year

I finished my first run a day before the DLC, but now I need to try again in Maddening mode without the New Game+ just for a tittle screen??? Challenge accepted! I guess Astral Chain will wait a little longer

I have like 7 games still in the plastic wrapper. Other still in the amazon box, and I don't even remember what I bought.

Well that's embarrassing, my 12 year old nephew knows who Terry Bogard is, and he was excited when he was announced as a character for Smash, and he has never played a SNK game before!
Good thing I still have my copy of Capcom VS SNK 2. I'm the best uncle ever

@Fuz I think it all depends on the user. I prefer the Switch to play games because of its portability, and I play the PS4 because of its exclusives, other people is the reverse of that, and others that double dip on a game that are in both consoles. In this case EA release inferior games on Switch, compared to it's counterpart, so of course not many will be playing them on Switch, and yet they have the gull to blame the consumer of not getting it on Switch. I think is time for EA to go bankrupt and disappear from the gaming industry. The last EA IP own from EA that I bought was Dragon Age inquisition. I don't think I have missed much

@SlowPokemon If you like strategies and getting to know the characters and story driving RPG games, then you don't want to pass this out. Fire Emblem has become a great franchise since Awakening. If you're not sure then just watch some gameplay to help you decide

@PBandSmelly No is not, they can still use the models from the 3DS, and improved textures to HD. They can also, I don't know HIRE MORE PEOPLE!!! to work on textures and better quality, did you see the trailers? they look awful and lazy, if it was in the 3DS I'll be ok with it, but this is the SWITCH, a more powerful hardware, even the dumb LET's GO games look better. They can delay the game to fix it, but they don't want to miss out on the Christmas holiday, why do you think they new GEN games comes out almost close to December? Also, they have been working on it since 2016, that's 3 years, ZELDA took 4 years and that looks a million times better. Seriously, it's because people like you that defend their dumb excuses that companies like EA, Activision and now Game Freak! gets away with their laziness.

I actually liked the story. I just wished it had an Epilogue or something. Just like XC1 did at the end.

@BigE You don't need 200HR to play it, the story it's not really that long. However if you want to do all subquests, collect all the blades and increase their power and do their own story missions, it will definitely take you 200-300HR+.

@Arbor Same here, my nephew plays it a lot so he is really good in that game. I been meaning to get it myself because of the characters, but at this point, I'll just wait for the 3rd entry.

@shaneoh well if that's what you wanted from a metroid game, then you go and have fun, I'm skipping this one until a proper Metroid game it's made.

Also, yeah Super paper Mario was really awful

They should have look for Bungie if they wanted a multiplayer game based on the Metroid universe, instead they went for Level 5, lets admitted it, it was not the Metroid game we wanted and it feels like we are controlling toys instead of actual Galactic Federation force soldiers. truthful I hope this game bombs on release, it will teach Nintendo and hopefully other companies not to screw around TOO much with beloved franchises

@Danpal65 your theory makes sense but remember one thing, the Kokiri became Koros "AFTER" the Great Flood, if what you say it's the correct timely then the Koros wouldn't exist at all, the same thing happened with the Zora also, they evolved into bird people, now if you check hyrule castle in twilight princess there is a drawing on the wall with child link, a goro and one of the bird people (I forgot the name), meaning that either the bird people were created at some point in the timeline instead of evolving from Zora's or Zora's regained their Zora form from the Bird people, the same thing could have happened with the Koros, also remember what Eije Aonuma said, "When we play the new Zelda after playing Twilight princess, we will have those Ah I see moments"

I don't know what's the obsession with the WW theory, it does not make sense people!!!! Remember at the beginning of WW "Hyrule was saved by a hero called the Hero of Time" then Ganandorf was able to break free from the seal and the hero did not reappear making the great flood , it did not happened after WW saga either, why? simple, after the events of WW the master sword ended underwater, stuck on Ganadorf head, meaning that the Master Sword it's lost forever and Ganon seal for life. Think about that!

Nintendo's localization strikes again, seriously they always around creating controversy, nintendo's localization team needs to get better at what they are doing or get fired, I don't see any other company localizing a game and causing problems to their consumers than nintendo

If they go down that path they should start with an F-Zero movie. Use Sylvester Stallone to play as C. Falcon I'm sure he's perfect for the role. And most importantly get an excellent writer/ Producer that can get the feeling and atmosphere of an F-Zero game, and do not interfere with their work, knowing you nintendo you would probably gonna try to make it as kiddy as possible :/
