Re: Nintendo And Sony Shares Drop Following Google's Stadia Reveal

Sandman83

Personally I think Stradia just looks like a worse option to the Nintendo Switch. I mean Sony have already tried that with the PS Vita and that failed hard.
Stradia also doesn't have a single game which makes it worth picking up.
My guess is stradia might become somewhat relevant eventually. But I think it will apeal to different people than those that pick up the current consoles.

Re: Troll And I Stomps Onto Switch Next Month With A $30 Price Tag

Haven't gotten the best reviews but have found myself liking games that got bad reviews before, think reviewers are a little to harsh, sorta like if it's not an open world game it will not get a good review or something. Devils third was awesome in my opinion for example.
But yeah I will try this game and take it for what it is, meaby I like it, meaby I don't.

Re: Square Enix is Considering More Nintendo Switch Releases

Sandman83

Yeah think Square needs to bring some more games over before Atlus steal the spotlight. Like Atlus is making a new Shinigami Tensei game in Unreal engine 4. Let's just say they would also bring over Persona 5.
Think square done pretty well so far by giving us I am Setsuna on the release day. Great game to compliment Zelda but think they need to keep up the pace now when they have some attention and throw in one or two more bigger games.
And yeah anything from Square Enix is always welcome. Most of their games are pretty good after all.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Switch Has Started Well - Now the Real Challenge Begins

@zool Actually it wouldn't be worth it for Nintendo to make a game of this scale if they couldn't get a return profit of additional hardware sales. We seen this decline in quality with Sega (even if their games are still pretty ok).
The other thing is the game is already looking great, might be one of the best looking games I ever seen. But yeah then it's just a question if you like the art style or not. Personally I love the art style. Sorta like a Studio Ghibli movie.
But yeah, one of the big things about breath of the wild is really the insanely good physic engine. Here's a small comparission with the ps4 current biggest game:

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Switch Has Started Well - Now the Real Challenge Begins

Zool Personally I haven't seen a single fram-rate drop after playing Breath of the wild for more than 40h.
I think most issues are made up, for example some xbox fanboy for example might just have taken out the fan or temper with the fan which would lead the system to overheat and cause different issues.
And yeah personally I think the graphic are excellent, Zelda is probably the best looking game I ever seen and other games like Fast RMX looks really good.
But yeah even if we don't consider graphics all games are really good, especially Zelda. Personally I actually think Zelda might be the best game I ever played.

Re: ARM Confirms That The Nintendo Switch's Chipset Is Very Close To Tegra X1 Spec

Sandman83

Well think this only confirms it using the X1 or the P1.
Both use an A57 CPU.
The X1 uses 4x A57s paired with A53.
The P1 uses 4x A57s paired with Nvidia's Denver cores.
If anything this statement would actually more indicate towards the P1 being used, why would ARM otherwise only mention the A57. It actually makes sense that they would only mention the A57 if it was paired with the Denver cores that they themselves wasn't responsible for.

Re: Eurogamer Report Suggests Nintendo Switch GPU Runs 60 Percent Slower When Undocked

Sandman83

Well the GPU is really just for drawing stuff on screen so it would basically just mean the game would run at half resolution in portable mode. For example:
In dock: 1080p
Out of dock: 720p
But yeah, this is just a rumor. Who knows if this is true or not. My guess is it will be fairly powerful. Nvidia have afte rall put in 500 man years of effort to customize a tegra chip for the Nintendo Switch.
We don't really know witch one but it might not even matter as it might have been customized so much it's not even a bit similar to it's original one.
Anyway here's a game that's been revealed, it uses unreal engine 4 so my guess is the Switch might be able to put out pretty good graphic:
