Re: Video: Check Out Some Official Footage of Super Mario Run

Sanangelo89

Some comments from people. I had low expectations but this seems like a very good spin off title.

People should not be affraid for nintendo to go mobile because they are just expanding there brand awareness. This will benefit us real nintendo gamers a lot. All the profit they make with mobile games can be invested in the console games development. It doesnt cost much for them to make this game, but it will sell a lot.

People complaining that this a bad thing are also the same people who say that Nintendo doesnt need 3rd party games, while everyone knows how that turned out for the wii u.

Iwata first talked about the "Quality of Life" platform few years back and i actually see them doing it in a very subtle way, but if youre just blinded by your own gaming needs then you might not see the 'Matrix' like i and other people do.

Just sit back and relax. Nintendo is slowly taking back the lead position in the industry and i think that they are starting to understand that Nintendo is more then just Japan. U have people living in the poorest country, have never played an console or an handheld, Nintendo nor competition but they do know Mario.

I was listening to 2pac yesterday after a while and he had Nintendo in lyrics of his songs, I remember BIG also spitting, "super nintendo, sega genesis, when i was that broke man i couldnt picture this" in the song Juicy. U know sinds then till know.

Its something that sony and microsoft will never have because they miss the times when nintendo made that impact in the 80s where everthing mostly was consumed differently then. If Super Mario was just recently created then i would never became the pop icon that it is now.

Re: Recent Data Highlights Gradual Decline in Pokémon GO Users and Engagement

Sanangelo89

@DarkKirby yeah i think so too. Pokemon are very disposable. I also dont understand why they had to go with pokecandies instead of just giving XP points after a battle with a wild pokemon without the need of catching them. It wouldnt made people be less motivated to go outside and search for them. To be honest i think it would motivate people more so they could focus much easier on leveling up to fight gyms and maybe later other trainers you meet. It would be an endless competition between people and will work a lot more addicting in that way(atleast for me because i played pokemon go only once)

Re: Video: Take A Closer Look At The NES Mini Classic Edition

Sanangelo89

@sillygostly i dont think that would be a good thing. Its doesnt make sense for Nintendo at all to do that and would be a waist of there money. They couldv made a way for it to connect to the internet and download eshop virtual console games and maybe even new games based on the 8 bit era or like game boy(color) games. That would make more sense

Re: Pokémon Spin-Off Pokkén Tournament Ships One Million Units Worldwide On Wii U

Sanangelo89

What i hope is that after Pokemon S&M, they will change the main gameplay style in something that looks like this. Turned based style isnt bad but i want a more active gameplay. If they start working on it now me might have it in 3 years time.

Wouldn't it be cool if you have pokemon but then you have to fight like in Pokken but still with the same RPG elements.
For instance a small thing that annoys me in current games is this: Eevee is fast asleep, Charmander uses ember, Eevee avoided. I mean like what the F, He is Nibelsnarfing ASLEEP!!!
Its these uncontrollable stuff within the current turned based style that annoys me.

I hope for a remake of red and blue with trainer Red but then with pokken style fighting and Kanto a bit expanded on (make the cities
bigger, expanded story for team rocket and some gymleaders maybe)

One other thing. speaking of red and blue. Do you also remember that they said that when you bought blue you could play as Gary en then eventually when you bought blue this was not the case at all and you still played as Ash/Red?

Re: New Pokémon and Antagonists, Team Skull, Revealed for Pokémon Sun and Moon

Sanangelo89

I can accept the fish pokemon, but the sandcastle is just lame. Its definitly going to be the pokemon team skull will use the most.

I actually am very excited about the alola forms of older poKEMON. I like them more then the new ones, they shouldv skipped most of the new ones and focussed more on alola forms. It makes a lot more sense too instead of just making new pokrmon just for the sake of it. I like good new designed pokemon but after that dragqueen like fishpokemon it kinda made me hope they stop creating new ones and just focuse on evolving the maingames.

Re: Poll: Which Nintendo NX Games Do You Want to See in the Launch Window?

Sanangelo89

3d mario: should be for marketing the nintendo brand. Let mario become popular again but less targeted to kids. Its obvious kids like cartoony stuff. In 90s mario wasnt targeted to lil kids as they are doing now.

Kid icarus: it still pretty fresh franchise after the 3ds version and can do anything they want with it gameplay wise for the NX. This game should be the answer to other nintendo titles having less voice acting.

Wave race: should be the game that shows off the NX graphics. Go for realistic graphics and this be the game that confirms its on to par with other consoles. At the same time be fun for both casuals as the deeper(hardcore) gamer.

Metroid prime: very important one i think. Should definitly stay with the same formula gameplay wise. Ofcourse show off graphics and let Samus become a Female icon marketing wise (should also have done this for Bayonetta). There are a lot of female gamers, why not show the female heroes off. I assume it will have voice acting.

F-zero: also important one. Wave race should be game targeted to both casuals as hardcore but fzero should be the game that targets the hardcore and should reel the casuals in. Graphics should definitly shine in this one. Voice acting should be in it and i think this game deserves a story mode, especially how they promote ct. Falcon in SSMB.

This are the titles i love to see in the launch window, great balance while still enticipating for zelda and pokemon and leaves space for third parties to also release games.

The only thing nintendo should do is balance the marketing. Its also good for them to let 1st party titles be on the low side marketing wise and let 3rd parties promote the NX through there games.

Also not to much kids or families in commercials. They should do something like the gamecube/GBA era.

Re: Rumour: Concept Art Reveals the Final Evolutions of the Alola Starters

Sanangelo89

I now really dont like poplio evolution. It looks to much like a girl while starters are mostly male all the time. Or atleast make a male and female version. I do like littens evo but also to manly looking for a female. They should stop with that lopunny mentality when it comes to design. I understand whit machop and its evos because that was before genders where introduced but having a male lopunny thats obviously based an a "sexy woman" in its design just bothers me and is also very noncreative in a certain way. Another thing they can change in future installments.

Re: Ubisoft Has "Surprises" Yet to be Announced for Nintendo NX

Sanangelo89

Simple. I dont mind what nintendo makes. As long as it will have buttons and finally be able to play 3rd party games im in. If not, the 3ds will be my last handheld and i will buy a Wiiu when its price drops to 200 euros. Its not only about 3rd party games, its more about Nintendo starting to pull there head out of there japanese ass and start to listen what fans want in the West. And western fans dont really ask much. We like the IPs but we just want more games and at the same with these 3rd party games added with nintendos already amazing 1st party games, u will have the ultimate console. Microsoft and Sony will be in big trouble when that happens but nintendo doesnt seem to get this.

Re: Poll: Will You Still Be Playing Pokémon GO at the End of 2016?

Sanangelo89

I played a few times but just one night i really got into it. But it was more because of my friends. After that i never played it anymore. Its not really pokemon to me. I also dont like the mechanic by leveling up. Catching pokemon just for candy to then throw them away later kinda makes them too disposable for me.

It would be much nicer if you could just search for wild pokemon and battle them for XP. Battling other real life players will also give XP. The higher the other trainers level, the more wild pokemon you have to battle for XP so it will still encourage players to go outside and search for pokemon to gain them XP's and also choose to capture them ofcourse.

Re: Video: This Raspberry Pi-Powered, 3D Printed NES Mini Puts Nintendo's Effort To Shame

Sanangelo89

Its cool but cmon, u think that nintendo wants to have more manufacturings costs for a machine that is just purely playing on peoples nostalgia? I dont thinks so and i personally dont want them to. Its a nice thing to have as an nintendo fan/liker or something but me for me its just a way to market there brand. If i have some extra money i will buy one for my little nephews and niece so that they can play together but also to experience the "essence of gaming". When they visit they really enjoy playing on my 3ds instead of playing on there tablet(which did suprise me, fortunately) so this a good why to have them grow with gaming as we did. I wont buy it for myself though, like i said i have a 3ds and i hardly have to play all the games i have. But i like that ninty is putting more effort in brand awareness and definitly have there momentum now thanks E3 and also PokemonGo. Its there Job to keep this momentum going and finally make a new entrance within the mainstream market.

Re: Video: Take Another Look at the Action-Packed Dragon Ball Fusions

Sanangelo89

This game looks fun as an secondary DBZ game to have but not as an main game (and no extreme butouden did not do it for me, if i wanna play street fighter i will play street fighter). I want an tenkaichi 3 port for 3ds with costumizable characters like Xenoverse or atleast that u can make your own alternate outfits or something. Its that really too much to ask for?

Re: Niantic Reveals What's Next For Pokémon GO

Sanangelo89

@DarkKirby. I agree with you saying that pokemon are very disposable in this game. It only reflect the catching aspect of the game but really the training and the bonding. I understand they want to encourage people to go outside, but catching 10 of the same pokemon to get pokecandy is kinda lame to level up and it devalues the pokemon. It actually keeps me from playing it myself cause i only played it ones but more because of friends ( highly addicting though). Why not do it the same as in the games. Let people catch pokemon and make there teams of 6 pokemon. Hunt for wild pokemon and battle them for experience points( this will also give higher value to future pokecenters, let mcdonalds be pokecenters where you can heal your pokemon) other real life trainers give you higher experience points in general. The higher the level the more experience.

If they do this you have the option to be a collector or a battle master. This will still encourage people to go outside because you need to find wild pokemon to level up. Otherwise meet other trainers to gain XP.

If the other trainers are too strong its gonna motivate you more to find wild pokemon too train. The higher your level gets stronger pokemon will appear based on your level.

Re: Project Sonic 2017 Confirmed for Nintendo NX Release

Sanangelo89

@Gauchorino i agree with you. They could just apply the classic style to modern sonic. I was hoping for a continuation of the storyline. I really liked the Story in sonic adventure 1 and 2. I liked sonic heroes and shadow hedgehog also for the story. And they left sonic chronicles storyline in the open. There is so much to do for Sonic team with sonic they really dont know that the main series is a gold mine. The overall Storyline of the main series is great for a platformer. It gives it a bit more depth and thats something that mario games kinda lacks with there characters

Re: Hyper Training, Six New Pokémon and More Announced for Sun and Moon

Sanangelo89

Though i dont like these designs, They still kinda look like "Pokemon" in some way. The only ones that bother me as of now are that dragqueen fish and the grandpa dragon. They bother me so much that i hope they get pulled out of the game. The other ones are ok. I personally think that Bewear has an ok design for the sake of having new pokemon. If people can accept Miltank, then Bewear is also acceptable.

Re: Gallery: Get the Full Localised Details on Pokémon Sun and Moon's Newest Pocket Monsters

Sanangelo89

I really really REALLY dont like Bruxish and Drampa. I mean even the worse of previous gen are not as bad as these ones. Especially Bruxish. I mean, was it really Ken Sugimori who designed these because i can hardly believe that. I like the others though, not the best designs but it still holds the concept of what pokemon should look like(atleast from gen 3 which kinda started the more "fancy" designs). Also love the traditional electric mouse. A lot of people are dissing Charjabug but i expect him to be used a lot by players( and be honest the more u look at him the more u start to like him) because of his evo Vikavolt who also looks kinda cool. Besides Drampa and the abomenation that is Bruxish, its just a matter of getting used to.

Re: Nintendo Should Follow In Marvel's Footsteps And Produce Its Own Hollywood Movies, Say Producers

Sanangelo89

@MarinoKadame The Tekken movie was shit. En that was a shame cause the Tekken franchise works great for a movie if handeld well. But again they just tryed to profit from the brand name instead of really translate the story the big screen.

As for nintendo to the big screen?
They could do that. Its not totally a bad idea. But they should be very varefull with that. If i was nintendo i would start with metroid as an movie.
Zelda would also work but... Ocarina of time should be the first movie. Oot has a simple story but is rich with characters and some definitly can contribute more to the main story (for instance impa, and sheik) and depending on writing it can be devided over multipul movies (or just one) but it should be OoT.
Also when it comes to zelda, i dont want a Lord of the Ring-ish vibe. Id rather have it be like (maybe strange) Maleficent movie, vibe wise ofcourse.

Everything Related to the mario franchise should stay animated (cgi) and the mario franchise works the best as an MCU/avenger wannabee. (Super mario bros, donkey kong, wario, )

And no, having all the different nintendo ip come together in a movie like in SSB kinda ruins what all these IP individuely are about. That should be exclusive the game or otherwise wreck it ralph.

Re: Rumour: EA And Nintendo Looking To Rekindle "Unprecedented Partnership" On NX

Sanangelo89

Though i dont really miss EA games on nintendo consoles, as an nintendo fan i do support these negotions. Thing is nintendo needs EA for buissniss so they can retain the household name they had before especially if they want to keep it going for the future.

Back in the 90s no matter what console you had (sega, playstation neogeo whatever) you mother or aunt always "isnt it enough playing the nintendo?!!". Nintendo should try to go back to that and one of the ways to that is to have the most populair franchises on there consoles with atleast the same content as the competition.

If the NX does not help nintendo to attain that status again then nintendo will only become less and less populair through the years cause even a lot fans are growing tired of seeing the same commercialised formula every year (mario, zelda, pokemon targeting towards kids mostly) because let's be honest... if we look back at the Wiius life cycle then in actuality we didnt really need the NX right now.

If nintendo did the wiiu promotion right it wouldv sold a lot more i think.
The only mistake they mightv made is that the wiiu has a different architecture then the ps4 and xbone but if they promoted the wiiu better then the devs mightv overlooked that because it wouldv propably be a more popular console with more sales and for devs seeing benefit in producing a game for the wiiu.

I just really hope nintendo does it right with the NX. I want nintendo to be the only brand for me to give game experiences with no problem buying most 3d party games. I love Kratos but i Love Link, Mario, Pikachu and Samus even more.

Re: Super Mario Bros. Z Creator Launches New Patreon Page After Nintendo Takedown

Sanangelo89

But i don't get it. How was he able to start the series in the first place if he needs money for it?

I also loved the series when i was watching it years ago but i thought he was just doing it in his freetime without much effort.
Kinda stupid, he wouldv been better off with just making a small parody with nintendo characters for 1 video (he was kinda popular with his 1st video) and then use that as promotion for his own work.

Re: Here's How Much Of Your Wii U's Internal Memory Pokkén Tournament Will Gobble Up

Sanangelo89

$60/€59 is a lot for a game that just has 16 characters with being conscious of the fact that it as 300+ roster potential in a time where we are used to fighting games with atleast 30+ characters.

I said it many times before. Gamefreak should incorporate this game mechanic into the main games as its main battle style with rpg elements. Its gonna take lot of work and effort for GF to pull that off i know (i think even more then Destiny) but at the same i believe it will result in the best pokemon game possible for the future. And they can re-use the mechanics for future games too.

I really loved the turn based system up untill now. But c'mon. We all grew up with the anime and how active all the pokemon seemed in battle compared to the games. And even now, with XYORAS its all nice that they are 3D and they appear more life like but all the action is still very stiff and a lot of it still lies within youre own imagination.

Re: Feature: A Pokémon Retrospective: Generation 6 - 2013 to ????

Sanangelo89

I want a main pokemon game that uses pokkén tournament as an battle engine with some rpg elements. Pokemon learn attacks by leveling but instead of forgetting moves u can customize them for each battle, up intill four. Also starting as another remake of red and blue(i really like the kanto trainers and TR) but with more story details fleshed out through sidequest or something. And instead of pairing two versions of one region, the should pair two regions and for every version a different region (like "pokemon kanto version and hoenn version" and for the generation after "johto and Sinnoh versions).
I still 'respect' the current turn based battle system but im kinda done with it, no matter how many new pokemon or regions they introduce. Id rather have old story with more details and new battle system, then new story new pokemon but same battle style. Pokemon not only needs but also deserves this change.

Re: Eiji Aonuma on the Idea of Giving Link a Voice

Sanangelo89

I wouldn't mind if Link gets more voice acting. I wouldn't mind if he stayed without VA. But ways does not matter. Everybody has there own perception of Link.

I think a lot of people are affraid that his voice will suck. I do agree that he became such an iconic character that he does deserve some kinda personality of his own right now.

Re: Pokémon the Series: XYZ Airing On Cartoon Network In February

Sanangelo89

They can easily reboot the cartoon if they want. Look at pokemon origins, alot of people liked it.

They should reboot the anime with the same concept as origins but then with more relation to the games (i liked it more if Red has a bulbasaur and Green having a charizard and if they add leaf/blue then she can have a squirtle) and with more episodes but less filler content. Like the battle against Team Rocket at the game corner being a saga with episodes that interconnect revealing stuff instead of just a one episode event. That would be cool

Re: Nintendo Life Weekly: New 2016 Sonic Game Hinted, NX Release Predictions and More

Sanangelo89

I hope its not a Sonic Boom game. I want them to continue with the main series and focus on good gameplay and also expand the story(we still have that storyline from chronicles wich expanded the overall storyline, sonic colors and lost world did not). I wouldn't mind a normal 2d sonic that's fast like in the old days. I dont mind having more characters besides Sonic, Tails and Knuckles gameplay wise or storywise as long as they have some importance for the plot.

The Sonic universe has a lot of characters and it would be a shame if none ever returns just because sonicteam can't write a good story for them. I mean Mighty the Armadillo is one character i would love to play as in a future game.
PS: excuse my English, Im Dutch.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Can Exploit Its Rich History With More Remasters

Sanangelo89

I wouldn't mind a few more remakes. As long as nintendos main team makes new games and tries to release more games in a shorter time then im okay with remakes.
What i want for them is to recreate pokemon red and blue with the same plot( you are either Red or Leaf, Gary is rival, Team rocket) but with an extended storyline explaining more things (cinematic cutscenes) and best of all; no more turned based battles but a more actief RPG with gameplay based on Pokken tournament.

Re: Review: Medabots AX: Metabee & Rokusho (Wii U eShop / GBA)

Sanangelo89

@Bass_XO

"At least this game is better than your spelling"

Wow internet gangster very funny. Thing is im Dutch and i was just helping people to decide if they should even bother with this game. And you could have corrected my mistake in a proper way instead of just making such a stupid joke. Especially considering that NL is visited by people all over the world. And out of everything i typed that one letter is the only thing you diss my spelling on. Freaking hilarious*sarcasm*.

Re: Review: Medabots AX: Metabee & Rokusho (Wii U eShop / GBA)

Sanangelo89

Wow the medabots series are treated a bit unfair because of the pokemon franchise here in the west. Medabots (or medarot originally in Japan) started out as an rpg series for the original gameboy. The medabots rpg games recently released on the wii u eshop are actually sequels(remakes of the gameboy games just like pokemon FR and LG on GBA)
Fans of the anime might remember Henry( the one who sold metabee to Ikki AKA Phantom Renegade) he is actually the protagonist of the first pair of rpg medabots games.
People should definitly pick up the rpg games they are good games and a better alternative for pokemon compared to digimon.
I also consider the anime series as one of the best kid-anime shows. It has a nice balance between character development, action and drama with great humor. One of my favourite episodes is when Ikki and Metabee fight against Mega-Emperor. One of the greatest anime battles ive seen!!
