Was hoping to see a lot but i didnt expect too much to be honest. Its not any different then last years E3 also Mario Odysee mostly though with last overkill then this years Smash.

Announcements will come through the year and people ready to sell their Switch are A: people who never owned one and are just liars or B: people who just buy games for the sake of having them without really finishing the ones they have, and if you did you must be a freak and its unhealthy to game that much. .

I only watched the trailer, but after reading the comments on what it is going to be i am not buying this over 30 euro's.

Only played PokeGo for a few times and i kinda have a Pokefatigue already.

30 euro's not more so they better watch out with their pricing.

Yeah i read that too. Bigger focus is ok as long as it doesnt effect their main gaming devisions.

As of now Furukawa seems to know more about the rest of the world so i hope he knows that Nintendo gamers dont play Nintendo on smartphones outside of Japan.

The original series, Kanto up untill the end of Johto is where the series still had its heart (although Johto already became to commercialized and had many fillers).

I can understand the dillemma of the writers though, its not Ash perse but Pikachu who kinda caries the franchise on a mainstream level and its his dynamic with Ash that kinda helps. What they couldv done to keep it fresh is to have Ash grow up but then it would slowly cater less to kids.

I left the Anime when Hoenn started also because other similar Animes where much more fun to watch because of better writing.

Even Digimon which i perceived as a copy Pokemon is actually a much better Anime a later figured out. Medabots was also similar to Pokemon, just as goofy and colorful but much more interesting storyline that beats Pokemon main Anime by miles.

@electrolite77 okay now im confused LOL. So i can use a normal USB-C kabel to charge the Switch, but not a 3rd party dock to charge and play on TV?
If thats the case then i am going to be a [removed] again and fall back to my original point that its peoples own fault for using 3rd party docks.

Obviously there must be some kind off technique for Switch to smoothly transition the screening from handheld to dock. That in itself must have gone through a lot of testing before they could garantee the quality. How many other devices can do that and at the same time upscale the power and visual output within realtime rendering? Its not about being a Nintendo lover its about knowing how devices nowadays overal are a lot more vulnerable.

@Yorumi i stand corrected, my argument was based for the docks not usb-c in general.

That is kinda stupid because i do ecpect to be able to use a normal USB-C kabel to recharge my switch with or to just connect it to a PC, to manage my files on the SD-card or something.

still not a big problem for me though, i dont mind taking the charger with me but if you are traveling the world you might not have the same plug in, while USB is mostly the same everywhere.

its very contradicting to say that its still Nintendo's fault for not saying anything about 3rd party accessories. its general in electronics that is always best to use 1st party accessories for your device.

people are just emotional now because their system got bricked, its your own fault and yes i am being a jerk but in the sense of acting like a grampa that told you so.

and then people want to again add the issue of saving file, yes that is still an issue but you still chose to use a 3rd party accessorie while you where consious of this issue so you still chose the risk for convience.

as a gamer my basic mentality still dates from the late 90's early 00's era so all these things arent really that much of a problem to me. electronica in general is a lot more vulnerable right now not just with gaming so consumer just need to be more carefull with their stuff.

people and their dock issues, i realy dont understand this, before the switch nobody seemed to have problems to take their 'clunky console' with them for traveling and suddenly its a big issue.

Nintendo with the dock for me has actually exposed how consumers can really act like spoiled little rich kids who only contradict themselves.

Switch owners are wel aware of its concept and what they need to invest to play certain type of games.

I wont support these developers. just for the fact that they come with such a lame excuse, i bet if there is a other game from them that is more 'colorfull' wit less graphical detail but has the same mechanic, they would magically make it happen.

@Turbo857 yeah its slow, i still have it to on my PS2 i actually keep it for that game. But they could raise the pacing.

They can avoid vanish spamming by making it consume Ki like in TK3. You can raise youre Ki bar anytime and chose for yourself what to do with it (special, ultimate, vanishing from attacks) and it gave a lot more freedom, as long as you were able to keep you Ki high you were safe.

XV2 does have a snap vanish that doesnt consume Ki but its more a dash methode.

Stamina should be more like those Blast stock bars in TK3.

No, just no! Youtube okay and anime and netflix also . But no social media apps. Buy a Tablet or a phone for that, the means of the Switch should 'escapisme' and that would be contradicted by having to much social media.

Its my first Switch game. Its great, but for me Tenkaichi 3s gameplay mechanic is still better even with all the copycat characters, i loved that. Almost every character imagineable was in that game. I hate the stamina management in XV2. Its just there to limit the gameplay and its not fun at all.

I thought it was Dragonball. I swear they have that pose from Goku, i felt it in my subconsciousness😂😂.

I think the competitive players should just stick with the older games. I really would like a more interactive battle mechanic and not just turn based.

They could even do something like DB Xenoverse 2, but then fighting is more based on Pokemon. Like, it would still be a fighting game and you transfer to a battle stage when you encounter Pokemon but a level 2 Pidgey can stil get OH-KO by a level 50 Charizard. Also the region should open world and you encounter Pokemon like in the DragonQuest series.

It might take a while to develop with over 700 Pokemon now, but wat would be really nice is if they just remade-boot Red and Blue and Kanto, stick with the original 151ish pokemon (baby forms included) and Red is the main trainer again but this time give the journey more Story, give sidequest with NPC's like Majoras Mask or Xenoblade for more XP and character development or that that is the only way to catch or encounter certain pokemon.

I mean there is so much they can do besides introducing a new region or new pokemon.

Wonder why we dont receive both games as physical though, and if it is because of Switch tax then nintendo really need to show some coulances to developers now. I could understand voor doom for multiplayer and for some other 3rd party games who have a bigger file size but both Bayonetta games are around 15 GB i think and otherwise nintendo shouldv paid for the second catridge.

Nintendo should really fix this, its cool that they made the Switch but is comprimises should be solved by them and by developers or consumers.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Mario games, but Zelda is always better because of its story. Mario is more of an 'pick up and play' and Zelda is more immersive for me.

Nobody would buy a switch at 349 minimum, the current price range makes it a perfect incentive to buy one and storage is a problem that will solve over time because it becomes cheaper. The more people buy higher storage the cheaper it becomes. People are forgetting how expensive 1 GB was back in de day (nevermind for the PSP).

HD textures just takes up a lot of space (HD images in general take up a lot of space, Iphone users now because of their foto's and film and they have to deal with 8 to 16 GB) so there is nothing to really to moan about if its just logical thinking and it isnt that much different on other devices. Its a general problem!

Do you really think that sony would release a 1TB PS4 just because, they did it because people were complaining and even with 1 TB they are still complaining. That doensnt make it an excuse for the Switch but people come on.

@MegaTen i understand but they dont say that. You cant expect people not to get annoyed if they come with reasons that dont make sense for Switch owners. Its understandable if they need to keep their finance in check, but it feels like developers want to think for consumers instead of just saying whats going on.

Then just i heard that they have no real plans for the Switch when it comes to new MH games? I almost finished Resident Evil Rev. on my 3ds and wont buy it on Switch. Had to sell MH3 years ago and never played MH sinds so would be nice on the Switch. But Capcom doesnt want my money anymore it seems...

@WaveBoy there is nothing wrong with FPS, its very acceptable. Its just that pepele are used to having better but 30fps is the minimum standard for video/visual-media. If 60fps is that important then buy it on PS4, but it doesnt devalue the Switch version at all. It being full price isnt to complain about either. Doom isnt a game i will buy a PS4 for and i dont think i wouldv bought it if i owned one, im more of the japanese kinda games or otherwise action games like God of War. Doom stands out on the Switch because its the most visual gory title on the Switch' also has a nostalgic effect for lots of nintendo gamers, and its the biggest FPS on it. Know that not everybody has a gameconsole or is that interested to buy one instantly or something. Theres lots of folks who buy a console just for fun and arent that buissy with frames per seconds or resolution and some still claim to be gamers without caring about that.

I bought it last month because of 3ds backlog but only bought DBXV2 so that my 3ds can still get some attention from me.

I understand for people if they wanted a more powerful console but if you keep on comparing it with other more powerfull consoles even when games like Doom en wolffenstein 2 coming out, then maybe Nintendo isnt for you, no matter how much you like their 1st party games.

Resident evil Rev. on 3DS mostly for the whole week and switching between castlevania lord of shadows for 3DS. My Switch collecting dust, not in a bad way but i really need to give my 3DS the attention it diserves. Never played luigis Mansion 2 and that became a ninento classic for 19.99 euro, Samus returns also in my list, and still have a big 3DS backlog. I intentionally only bought DBXV2 for my Switch because i am affraid i wont play 3DS any more if i bought zelda or buy Mario soon, so im going to wait till end of the year for these games. I am going to buy Doom though when it comes out.

No sh!t that it aint selling. I only see posters and banners with the Xbox one and PS4 versions. They say Switch owners should support it but they hardly promote it as the other versions. Besides the fact it didnt had a demo either on the eshop. If the price lowers to 40 bucks i might buy. But im more interested in Bethesdas games, i never played none of them.

Yeah i understand. I hope nintendo brings out a good VC for the Switch. I bought DB Xenoverse 2 instead of Zelda BOTW because i still want to play the preceding zelda games and the only one i finished is OoT3D and did recently for 2nd time almost 100%. Still a lot of games to play on my 3ds so BOTW can wait cus i never touched majora that i bought a few months ago. All this gaming news is also very time consuming, i actually find myself following gamenews more then actually gaming😝. But 2017 is also very exciting for gamers.

@speedracer216 Thats because its a different kind of hype nintendo has. The 3ds sells millions but have you ever heard people get hyped up about its games? Not even kids, its mostly on PS4 where all the hype is. But that doesnt define the succes of a console. The Switch definetly is a hype but the hype that you expect will happen if the Switch will get games like GTAV that has been rumoured now.

@BlueOcean I was disappointed with most of the Wii because forced motion controls with most games. I thought the Wii U gamepad was kinda cool even though kiddy looking but that you coulndt take it upstairs away from the console was a big dealbreaker for me so no buy. The Switch kind of fuses and fixes all of this and the backwards compatibelity doesnt bother me. Wii U games can come as ports and Wii as VC modified for joycons. And otherwise just keep your old consoles why do it away uf you are still attached to the games it plays. I bought the Switch 2 days ago with DB Xenoverse 2 and i am very happy with it. Thinking on buying Doom as my second game.

@MsgBoardGamer Its obvious its a rumour thats not the point😂. But now that it still in the middle, the topic of having GTAV is fun to talk about amongst forums wether it happens or not. Ofcourse you can express your opinion and take it with a grain of salt but you are being very pessimistic about it for someone on a Nintendo site. Also doubting GTAV on switch being desireable is very ignorant. Both GTAV and Nintendo as a brand alone is pure popcuture not much less then Michael Jackson or Mcdonald's, there is always desire. I didnt expect Doom and LA noire either but here they being both released on Switch. Besides that, its a Game that ran on much lesser hardware then Switch so thats also another plus. Another game with a comparable engine is already released very soon, LA Noire. And the guy starting all the hype was very accurate with LA Noire coming so he might be on to something again and thats why people are hyped up and he knew people will become hyped up by just saying 'patience' because its a form of hope for all these people who 'desire' the Switch.

@BlueOcean that it is 30fps and having downgraded visuals doesnt make it less 'current-gen' for me. PS2 also had downgraded visuals and fps compared to GC and Xbox and after that i went handheld only excluding PSVita. So i should be the last person complaining about visuals and 60fps because this whole HD gaming is still very new to me.

Lets be realistic indeed. After all these months we still dont now what we really can expect from the Switch. Yes some 3rd party games are slightly downgraded but remember that a lot of these games werent made with the switch in consideration(if thats a word, im dutch) so to see what the Switch really can do is still the question and that its rawpower is weaker then other console doesnt say anything.

@Kobeskillz yeah its not just the Switch it runs bad on all console. Its not an hardware issue but optimization issue. I was planning on buying it when i have the Switch because at first the impressions people had were good but after bad PS4/XB1 reviews people started to see the flaws of Switch too besides the storage issue also. Im a lot more interested in Doom now, not just for the game itself but also how Bethesda has ported it and what would be needed for storage.

This game isnt that much cheaper then on other consoles. I see it for ps4 at 44 euros minimum up to 49 euro. Xenoverse for Switch around 54 euros so Wow Switch is doomed😒(sarcasm)

@BlueOcean NBA2K18 isnt the last gen version, its the exact same game like the ps4 only with bit lower graphics. Just look at the ps3 version, its totally different.

So we are now in the 'Switch Tax Saga'. Sheesh, i also dont want to pay more but at the same time it does contribute to the industry overall. If people do support it these cards will become cheaper to produce just like normal SDCards. It might motivate Sony to also come with a Switch like handheld if it all becomes cheaper over time its not just for nintendo.

Complaining about 2k18 being 30fps is very lame. Most games in all of history were made with 30 fps and now thats suddenly unplayable. So all of you people didnt play video games that were 30 fps wether that be sports games other genre, and just waited for technology to evolve to give us 60fps gaming. People please, just go buy yourselves a PC and just shut the nibelsnarf up.

Owh they were really talking about rats, i thought is was some kinda codename for a processor or something LOL. But this seems like a game i wouldnt buy anyways, no matter on what console. I really wanna buy a PS4 but all games look like this all the time, like you are watching a movie and the only game i think are worth playing( for me) are God of War 4 and the new spiderman. These games are the ones that give me PS2 era feeling and ofcourse a few others but most games just dont interest me. Besides the fact that both are scheduled for 2018 release. Nintendo still giving me the vibes, even replaying older games. Skipped the WII/U but boy do i love my 3ds! Fck plague tale.

It think they would allow it if you pay seperately for the app from the normal online subscribtion. I wouldnt mind though if they did that, if its around 10 bucks extra on the normall yearly price then its okay.

I always imagined Mario to be kinda like the size of Sonic in a real world-like environment. Its exactly how it should be, so i dont know why people are complaining about new donk city. Should they'v made Mario taller? i dont think so. Made the Humans shorter, i dont think so either.

Im sorry, but Nintendo should ashamed for releasing snes-mini with just 21 games without the games that were on the NESmini. They have discontinued the NES mini, then why not release those 8 bit games on the SNES mini. Nintendo shouldnt put such a high value on their classic games. There a lot of ninty fans who bought these games over and over on multiple console, why cant they spoil their fans little bit more. Emulators arent that hard to find Nintendo and you are mos def taking our love for you for granted. Nice for the hardcore collectors but if NESMINI games arent on this then i wont be buying this. Let them scalpers do their thing.

@Liam_Doolan I cant talk about 2ds, but the originall 3ds isnt as sturdy as the new 3ds(not xl). Thats just an excuse to not upgrade. I got my OG3DS sinds the beginning and it really is not as sturdy, the new 3ds does has a more plastic feel but the hinges are better. Not to diss you or anything but its just hard for me to believe that people can take these conclusions.

I like the new 2dsxl. Already have OGOG3DS and New 3ds, but might buy this one too. 3DS can stay for another 4 a 5 years for me. They should also re-release some other 3rd party games like RE Revelations and Metal Gear Solid to kinda market to teens and adults who dont want to spend a lot on a gaming handheld and these games can be in the same pricerange as the "nintendo classics", around 20 euros/dollars. No development costs just copy paste. Nintendo should just keep the marketing on a good level and distribute some older 3rd party games themselves for variation. There are still a lot of people who didnt played these games or were to young for certain games and can then discover them now.

i am still playing Sun en must say its definitly a step forward for the series design wise but for me, i still rather have gym leaders. I hope that the next game is another red and blue remake with the same trainers, optional to costumize them but with a much more detailed storyline about team rocket and also the legendaries and the gym leaders also shine more. Pokemon already has very rich characters but their story arcs are always so limited or none at all and this is something tham SM did better overall

All good games but for me mostly Bayonetta. I really want that game to be a nintendo exclusive. Sony didnt bothered with this game and Microsoft either. Nintendo saw the worth of this franchize and Bayo2 is owned by them so why not port it over.
