We've had a handful of exciting Dragon Ball releases in recent years, with Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden being a decent entry on the 3DS. The next portable arrival in Japan is going to be Dragon Ball Fusions, which is out soon.
Though we don't have Western release information yet, it's interesting to see the direction this one's taking. It adopts some RPG and action gameplay mechanics along with over-the-top cinematic scenes for battles, with the idea being that characters can be fused together (as the name suggests).
Is this a title that you'd like to see in the West?

I want this. Looks really fun
@Gunonaboat I heard that. Really hoping for a western release.
I can't tell you how much I need this game. Finally - an awesome Dragonball Z game on the 3DS! I really do hope it gets released in the west - I literally have nothing else to look forward to this year besides Pokemon Sun & Moon.
After seeing the Famitsu scores for this, I want it even more.
I'm honestly looking forward to this more than Xenoverse 2. This looks great. I tried emailing Bandai Namco in the UK about this, but they have no idea whether it'll be released here... or so they told me...
This game looks fun as an secondary DBZ game to have but not as an main game (and no extreme butouden did not do it for me, if i wanna play street fighter i will play street fighter). I want an tenkaichi 3 port for 3ds with costumizable characters like Xenoverse or atleast that u can make your own alternate outfits or something. Its that really too much to ask for?
Looks very interesting.
5-people "maxi-fusions"? I wonder how that works.
