I knew that demo had some very smooth animation. I can't get this right away due to other games, but I will definitely get it for Switch. I could wait for another GamePass deal, but it might not run so well on my PC. Switch it is then!
I'm getting this day one, but I'll just find it in stores. I'm not expecting this to sell out.
I love when Nintendo makes unique games like this. I am glad they did not just make another Wii Fit, as it eventually got kind of stale. (Also seems like Wii Fit U was a step back from Wii Fit Plus in some ways.) I still play it, but I'm glad we are getting a completely new idea to workout with.
I double dipped on this on Wii U and PC. I did not notice any blurry textures, but then again, I tend to not pay attention to that stuff. It would be strange if the Switch version had
It is a great game for anyone who has not played it yet and has an interest in LEGO games or Jurassic Park.
Also I enjoyed Jurassic Park 3. I like the first two movies better, but I think JP3 was also good. Jurassic World 1-2 kind of nosedived the series for me, but they were enjoyable at least.
I am getting this on day one. It is exactly my type of game. I hope the music is good, or at least decent. If not, I could always pump out my own tunes. ;D
I did not really feel the Fitness Boxing demo, so if I can get a fitness game I enjoy on Switch, I could take a break from Wii Fit U.
I still think it is Wii Fit, or at least that this hoop is going to be used in a new Wii Fit. Wii Fit was more than yoga, it had some wacky games as well as some intense ones. This fits the bill for me. Come on, Switch Fit!
Also don't hate on the balance board. It wasn't just a scale.
I still regularly play Wii Fit U and could use an upgrade. I can't wait until next week to find out what this really is. Is it Switch Fit? Will it take place on Wuhu Island? What is the purpose of showing people from different parts of the world? That sounds like a hint at online features to me. @westman98 Exactly!
Kind of like the offroading tracks in 4x4 Evo except more linear. I'm interested, but we'll see. Doesn't look like you get much exploration judging by the rope barriers in the trailer.
Makes sense from Nintendo's stance, but where else am I going to be able to listen to Lumpy Pumpkin for half an hour? Well I guess I can load up the game and let it idle. lol
Could someone clarify the grand prix for me? Are these rewards locked to this month? Like if I don't get enough points during this grand prix, are the rewards gone for good?
Just shows how well the Wii was. So many people who have never touched a video game before started on Wii, and likely never bought a new console. The Wii still is the best for casual-friendly motion-controlled games.
Also by making it a Wii game, they cover anyone who has a Wii U.
So the "New" in the title is because this is more than a port. From Twitter:
"Might look like it but we actually rebuilt the game from the ground up. Levels are all redesigned, new levels, 360 camera, better movement, and a ton more."
@Tarolusa Definitely. I miss the Dream Events. M&S @ Rio was really lacking in good events. I still enjoyed it, but nowhere near as much as London or Sochi.
More Yooka-Laylee, please. I love it. I admit the game was not good at PC launch, but the patch they pushed out when the Switch version released fixed a lot of my complaints.
The only thing I don't like are some of Rextro's games. I love Rextro as a character, though.
https://e3.nintendo.com/ says June 11-13. They typically do their "E3" on the Tuesday during E3 week, so I think it will be the 11th. The following days are likely treehouse lives. They also go for morning times, so probably around 9-10 Central.
Also I don't know how good Tomita's English is, so they may not realize how negative some of those tweets are?
Either way, I haven't played Crafted World yet aside from the demo, so I do not have an opinion either way. Epic Yarn and Woolly World have amazing soundtracks, though.
I am a real Bubsy fan, but I haven't liked the way that Billionsoft has been taking Accolade/Bubsy.
The Woolies Strike Back did not feel like a Bubsy game at all and felt kind of lifeless. Paws on Fire is a runner and I don't care for runners. I may give it a shot once it goes on sale for cheap on Steam, though.
I was going to eventually get this on PC, but I may grab the Switch one for the motion controls. Kind of fitting playing this on a Nintendo console again.

Re: Super Mario Odyssey's Pauline Makes Her Mario Kart Debut Tomorrow
@MasterJay That just shows what negativity does to you. Cranky is cranky and negative, which really dampered his health and made him age more.
Re: Luigi's Mansion 3 Receiving Paid DLC, Will Add New Content To Multiplayer Modes
I am fine with it as long as I can find enough players whether or not I buy the DLC.

Re: All-New Dream Events Are Coming To Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games Tokyo 2020
I was already getting this on launch, but now I'm even more hyped! I can't stand soccer or rugby games, so Rio was a bit stale for me.
I'm glad they are not being lazy with this one and are having a lot of variety. Will it top the London game? We shall see.
Re: Talking Point: Ring Fit Adventure Is A Thing, But Is It Your Sort Of Thing?

Re: Nintendo Officially Unveils Ring Fit Adventure, An Exercised-Based Adventure Game
Excellent! Finally a good replacement for Wii Fit U. I'll be getting this on day 1! I kind of wish we could use a mii, though.

Re: Review: Bubsy: Paws On Fire! - How Many Lives Does This Bobcat Have?
I like how this game pulls in characters from Bubsy 2 and all, but I am not sold on this gameplay. I'll give it a shot once it gets a discount.
Re: Diddy Kong's Racing Once Again With A Return To Mario Kart After 11 Years Away
The only thing is, how much will it take to unlock him? The beta had a gacha system for gaining characters. I hope he won't be too Rare.

Re: Cooking Mama For Switch Will Feature A Vegetarian Mode And Blockchain Tech
I sure have some Googling to do after reading this article. A blockchain? A what now?

Samba de Amigo!
Re: Looks Like We're Getting A New Cooking Mama Game On Switch
Nice. I'll be checking this out. Haven't played a Cooking Mama game in a long time.
Re: Random: Zelda Fan Smashes PS4 In Rage As Breath Of The Wild 'Clone' Genshin Impact Is Revealed
I never heard of this game until this story started getting around. I will be watching this game, it looks fun.
If a game looks fun, I'll try it. I couldn't care less if people consider it a knock-off. That is fine by me whatever you think.

I tried it on PC and loved it. The new changes and additions sound sweet. I'll definitely pick it up on Switch.

Re: Poll: Tell Us Who You're Siding With In Splatoon 2's Final Splatfest
Chaos. I don't want to be manipulated. Let me do whatever I want!
I had to go against Crusty Sean, my favorite, but I'll save you from the order and show you the way of chaos!
Re: Nintendo Inexplicably Deletes Popular Mario Maker Streamer's Level
@AlphaElite This most likely happened. The server sees a stage named Pile of Poo with content reports on it? That would trigger an alarm for sure.

Nice. I'll queue that up and check it out.

Re: The Wii U Just Received Its First Firmware Update For 2019
So back to the update at hand, has anyone here actually received this update? I am at 5.5.3 and it says there are no updates.
NOA does not have the update listed: https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1436/~/system-menu-update-history
UK does not seem to have the update either: https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Support/Wii-U/System-Updates/Latest-system-update-information/Latest-system-update-information-677417.html
@KingBowser I'm not sure this update is even out.
Re: The Wii U Just Received Its First Firmware Update For 2019
Nice. I was getting seasick from the waves in the Wind Waker HD. This stability should help.

Re: New Trailer Drops For Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020
I can't wait. Finally some more variety of sports.
Re: Nintendo And Microsoft's Love-In Continues With New Super Lucky's Tale, Coming To Switch This Fall
I love this game. Definitely check it out if you enjoyed Super Mario 3D World. It is definitely closer to 3D World than it is to Mario 64.
Re: Sega Will Feature Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games 2020, Mega Drive Mini And More At E3
@Tarolusa Definitely. I miss the Dream Events. M&S @ Rio was really lacking in good events. I still enjoyed it, but nowhere near as much as London or Sochi.

I like the changes to the rollers and splash wall. I'm sure the changes are too small for me to notice, but I appreciate it!
Re: The Beta For Mario Kart Tour Doesn't Seem To Include Proper Multiplayer Racing
I am having fun using tilt controls and manual drifting. I hope they add in live multiplayer, though.
Re: Mario Kart Tour Beta Test Details And Images Are Already Leaking Online
@JamieH Thanks! That link would not load on my phone, but I was able to get to it through my PC and started the install there. (I'm in the US.)
Re: Random: Frozen Rayman Spotted In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
I can't see it. Unless Rayman gained a lot of weight and grew legs. His face looks a bit chubby and he has skinny legs?
Re: Nintendo Announces Its Plans For E3 2019 Including Direct Times
I just want to see what Skip Ltd has been working on. I love their unique games.

Re: Talking Point: Do We Still Want Achievements On Switch?
Either way. I used to be all for them but I kind of got burned out on them after going for too many tedious trophies.
It is cool comparing them with friends to get an idea of how far along they are in games, though.
Re: Random: Yoshi's Woolly World Composer Keeps Sharing Negative Tweets About Crafted World's Soundtrack
I don't think Tomita was retweeting those to bash Crafted World. Each one of those tweets include some praise for his work.
Tomita said so here: https://twitter.com/Tomoya_Tomita/status/1121167582189350912
Also I don't know how good Tomita's English is, so they may not realize how negative some of those tweets are?

Re: Rumour: Nintendo Has Reportedly Axed Its Quality Of Life Department
I could use a new Wii Fit to improve my Quality of Life. (I'm still playing Wii Fit U.)

Re: Team Sonic Racing Finally Gets A New Gameplay Trailer
I still have this preordered from Nov. I thought about canceling it a few times, but I trust Sumo will deliver and will keep my preorder up.
Sumo has been good with their Nintendo versions of games and I loved the first two SEGA/Sonic Racing games.
I think I may be maining Knuckles and/or the chao.
Re: Ubisoft Will Host An E3 2019 Conference, Date And Time Confirmed
Metroid crossover dlc for Starlink.

I think Lucky has the greatest chance of coming.
Re: RAD Takes You To The Post-Post-Apocalypse For 3D Roguelike Action
I'll be watching this one. It will fit nicely into my maybe bin.
Re: Switch Controllers Are Getting Google Chrome Support
People have been using the Pro Controller for PC gaming for a while, but this is the first I've heard of using Joy-Cons. Interesting.
Re: Talking Point: Should Nintendo Be Concerned About Google's Play For Gamers?
I'll wait and see. I don't think they would make a console. It would probably be more of a service.
Re: Review: Turok - A Slice Of FPS History That's Still Worth Hunting Down In 2019
I was going to eventually get this on PC, but I may grab the Switch one for the motion controls. Kind of fitting playing this on a Nintendo console again.
