This wholesome direct definitely was the best of today's shows. So many games that interest me. Thanks for putting together a list of ones coming to Switch.
I picked this up at launch and play it almost everyday. Sometimes I'll do adventure and other times I'll do custom mode with some jogging and rhythm games.
I wish they'd let you build a longer routine in custom mode. I end up going through a bunch of different routines and it breaks up the pace.
Will I buy Wind Waker a 3rd time? Maybe. Depends on what they add or change this time around. Right now the Wii U version is my favorite thanks to the QoL changes and touchscreen controls. We shall see.
I usually don't set any expectations for Directs, however this one sure got me hyped! Some of my highlights:
Info on Animal Crossing x Mario Famicon Detective World's End Club Skyward Sword (I love this game and can't wait to see the improvements) Miitopia (I didn't get around to it on 3DS) Mario Golf (I am also hyped for the motion controls) Splatoon 3 (Super hyped for this)
Even during a pandemic, Family Video has always been a popular place in my town. Especially with Marcos Pizza right next door.
I know of a few other locations nearby that closed during the past few months, so I had a feeling something was going on.
I am so sad that this is happening. I have been renting games for so long now. It really saves money when trying out new games.
I wonder what this means for Marcos Pizza and the water/ice machines. They have the cheapest water in town there. Also the pizza at Marcos is my favorite in town. Hopefully Marcos sticks around.
I love both Epic Mickey 1 & 2. I tend to not notice problems that other people get hung up on, so I can't say much on that. Both games were very enjoyable.
The game is 50% off for anyone who already owns the original on Steam or GOG. Also they plan to offer the same discount in the near future for anyone who bought it from TellTale in the past.
I noticed the lack of that option as well. Perhaps my backlog/procrastination will help me out this time. Just the way it is nowadays. Get a game. Wait for all the patches to release. Then play it.
Got it at launch and still play it almost everyday. I usually get in about 30 min per day. I kind of cycle between adventure mode and custom routine mode depending on my mood.
I also go for walks a few times a day with my Wii Fit Meter.
That is really cool he is helping with a wildlife reserve. I wish him the best! I love games, but nothing beats the feeling of helping out with animals and nature.
I tried the demo and loved it. I didn't care for it at first, but once Pesto showed up and the puzzles started, I really got into it. I've added it to my backlog. I enjoy the humor in this game.
I would be interested in this, if true. I love Skyward Sword. I am a fan of motion controls and I feel they worked well in this. My only control issues were with the harp. I couldn't ever figure it out. Also I couldn't stand The Imprisoned. Just go away, dude!
It sure would be cool if we could get an official 007 game... It has been so long, and even longer since we had one I enjoyed. Make it less of a shooter and add more puzzles, stealth, gadgets and driving.
I can understand the complaints about cramped stages, but I am really enjoying this game. It has that challenge but it isn't insanely challenging. I love the cartoony design style of this game as well. Such a welcome change after the previous Urban Trial games.
I say just give them time. Ori and the Blind Forest was out for a few years before coming to Switch, which gave them time to improve the game.
After a few years, their exclusive contract should expire and they will be free to port it. By that time, they should have optimized the Xbox version enough with patches to realize how they can adjust the game to work on Switch. (That is what I hope for anyway!)
Definitely made tuning into the EA show worth it for me. I have enjoyed all of the games I tried by Zoink so far and this one looks so good. The music and style just fits me so well. I can't wait to see more gameplay of this.
I spotted Heffer for a second at 0:58. I may give this game a shot. I skipped the first one, but I may try this one once it hits a bargain price. We shall see.
My only complaint other than a few dud games is the lack of local multiplayer. Hopefully they will adjust that in the future. It is pretty silly to limit the selection to 3 games for 3 players. I am really enjoying this game in 1p and 2p, though!
This is made by NDcube which includes former Hudson Soft staff, the ones responsible for Mario Party. Surely they could make this game more party-centric.

Re: Random: An Eager 3DS StreetPass Fan Spent A Day In New York, Got Zero Hits
I still carry my 3DS for the pedometer and play coins. I get maybe 1 streetpass every few months.

Re: Hate Zips? Then This Magnet-Powered Nintendo Switch Carry Bag Could Be For You
I can't say I'm attracted to the idea of having so many magnets near my Switch, but I hope this holds up for anyone who does try it out.
Re: NIS Classics Volume 1 Brings Retro JRPGs Phantom Brave and Soul Nomad To Switch This Summer
I never got around to Soul Nomad, so this would be a good chance to try it. Phantom Brave is amazing, so that is a definite purchase.
Also add another vote for Makai Kingdom. I no longer have a functional PS2, so having this on Switch would be so nice. I love Makai Kingdom.
Re: Video: We Take A Look At The Hidden Mario Golf Game That Didn't Star Mario
Nice to see We Love Golf receive some attention. It is my favorite of Camelot's golf games. Such an overlooked game.
If I remember correctly, the Japanese release did not include online multiplayer. That was added for the English releases.
This game has some of my favorite courses such as Camelot Links, Luxor Desert, Skull Island, and that course with dinosaur fossils.
Re: Feature: After Fire Emblem And Famicom Detective Club, What Comes Next From Nintendo's Vault?

Splatoon 3 (Super hyped for this)
Re: Splatoon 3 Was Just Announced, But Splatoon 2 Isn't Done Just Yet
@stinky_t That is cool people still play it. Yea, I can imagine going back to the Gamepad for Splatoon would be difficult.
Re: Splatoon 3 Was Just Announced, But Splatoon 2 Isn't Done Just Yet
I wonder how much longer the first Splatoon has left until they pull the cord. I may load it up tonight and see how active it is.

A platformer with cavemen and/or dinosaurs that I have not yet played? I'm interested! Kind of surprised I never knew of this game before.

Re: Feature: Why Not Patch These Switch Games To Work With The Ring-Con, Nintendo?
Ring Fit Resort! They could do some Ring-Con games and also include some that use the base joy-con.
Ring-Con games: archery, volleyball, shooting, flying
Leg strap/joy-con: jogging, rock climbing, kickboxing
Joy-Con: tennis, bowling, golf

I'm still playing through the first Ori, but I may buy this one now to take part in this.
Re: Review: Sam & Max Save The World - An Excellent Point-And-Click Series Remastered For 2020
Nice to see that this plays well on Switch. I love Sam & Max but the TellTale games always had a bit of lag to them no matter what I played them on.
I've been playing this remaster on Steam. Bosco's new voice took me a few minutes to get used, but I think they did a good job.
I plan to pick this up for Switch at some point because I tend to play on that more than PC.
Re: Soapbox: 10 Years On, We Need More Brave, Worthwhile Experiments Like Epic Mickey
I love both Epic Mickey 1 & 2. I tend to not notice problems that other people get hung up on, so I can't say much on that. Both games were very enjoyable.

I also go for walks a few times a day with my Wii Fit Meter.
Re: Hands On: Is Genshin Impact The Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Clone Fans Thought It Was?

Re: Rumour: Is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Taking To The Skies On Nintendo Switch?

Re: GoldenEye 25 Shuts Down After Cease And Desist From 007 IP Holder

Re: Ubisoft's Second E3-Style Broadcast Will Take Place This September
Lost in Random was the only game featured to interest me from their last broadcast, but I am hyped for that game! I love Zoink Games.
I may still watch this broadcast. Maybe they'll have something that interests me? (Rayman or Steep stuff, please!)
Re: Feature: 10 Of The Most Blatant Snack Sponsorships In Retro Gaming History
Oh Push-Over. I played that game a ton on SNES. That along with Cool Spot and that Chester Cheetah game.
Re: Review: Urban Trial Tricky - A Mix Of Trials, Tony Hawk And Joe Danger That Doesn't Quite Nail The Landing

I always wanted to try Mr Driller. I checked out the demo for this and thoroughly enjoyed it. I must buy this when I have the funds.

Urban Trial Tricky for me as I love those type of games and it is 30% off for anyone who owns Urban Trial Playground.
Also Ninjala!
I am interested in Mr Driller. We'll see.
Re: Zoink Teams Up With EA To Release Lost In Random On Switch Next Year
