Re: Guide: Where To Pre-Order Ring Fit Adventure

@HappyMaskedGuy Investments require money. Nintendo has a lot of money. A LOT of money. And as I said, this team specifically only does these kinds of games, that is what they are hired to do. They do not have any hand in Zelda, Mario, etc. If Nintendo was worried about having enough people or resources for their people they would buy or hire as much as they need as long as the product is set to yield a profit. This ring thing will make Nintendo tons and tons of money, money that can be put into the bank or invested into new properties if they so wish.

@jockmahon @HappyMaskedGuy Do a little research about how companies are structured, specifically Nintendo too. The development team that created this is the same group who have done Labo, and other projects that are considered “gimmicky”. This group is specialized in doing these kinds of projects and do not hold back Nintendo as a whole even in the slightest. The only thing similar to an employee getting “pulled over” from another development team would be maybe a leader from another department or a higher up in the corporate chain that checks in on them and says “ok looks good” and goes back to talking with shareholders.

Re: Feature: The Ever-Changing World Of Nintendo Switch Menu Icons

@rushiosan @FTL But its an icon, half of the icons listed in the article are just people nit picking. I don’t see any issues with the Sonic Mania one for example. We are living in a period where more parts of media are transferring to a minimalistic approach to design. If I enjoy a game, an icon won’t make the experience unenjoyable.

Re: Review: Final Fantasy VII - A Timeless RPG Classic That's Beginning To Show Its Age

RazorThin

Personally I find it difficult to use a media’s age as a negative against it. I have recently been getting into older games from my childhood as well as before my time I never had a chance to play. Some of these games have shown their age, maybe enough so I lose interest, but I don’t dock it against the game. I just picked up NFS Underground 2 for the OG Xbox, only played it a little as a kid. At first the game feels dated, but the more I play it the more “into” the game I get. I can see past the 480p graphics and appreciate a solid experience to be had. I am excited to get FF7 when I recieve my next paycheck and play this classic!

Re: New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe Japanese Sales Prove Plumber Port Profitability

RazorThin

@Mogster “limited resources” hah, Nintendo is a large company, you do realize within large companies there are many different departments and employees who specialize in different areas right? To port a game requires only a few employees, who themselves were likely hired into Nintendo for that matter. Miyamoto himself doesn’t drop working on whatever big project to port a simple New Super Mario Bros game to Switch. I wish people would understand this.

Re: Analysts Believe Nintendo Will Fall Short Of Its Target To Ship 38 Million Switch By March 2019

RazorThin

Switch could not have been released at a better time. Bringing out games like Mario Odyssey and Zelda BOTW at a time where Xbox One and PS4 are at their peak to steal some of the thunder, making sure the Switch will stay relevent for a long time while Microsoft and Sony are now scrambling 2018 trying to figure out where to go next as their consoles are staring to dwindle in popularity.

Re: Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes' Physical Edition Officially Confirmed, Will Include Season Pass

RazorThin

@Cobalt The only thing terrible about this game is how they’ve gone about releasing info regarding it. There what like 8 game modes and only one has been shown, all paying homage to classic games supposedly. I don’t think it looks like the best thing ever, but I am keeping a safe distance as I love Travis as a character and the art style but am worried of what the other games it has in store. Again doesn’t make it a terrible game.. just gotta keep expectations realistic.

Re: Nintendo Aiming To Resolve Mario Tennis Aces Co-Op Challenge Error By 16th October

Its finally happening for realsies this time, nintendoom is happening!
Nah, its just a bug they plan on fixing later. They achnowleged it and unfortunately some things can’t be fixed immediately. If Mario Tennis was released by any other company they wouldn’t have been as generous as Nintendo/Camelot have been with updates this far out from its original launch, so the constant negative attention this game recieves on this site is way more than it deserves.
