Don't see anything wrong with this, if I owned a very successful brand I wouldn't want other people using it without my permission. In some instances copyright can shut down many people and companies that have no intentions to use other brands or designs others use, but in this case it's a company trying to get away with stealing another company's brand.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE What's the point of a web browser on a console when you can have a much better web experience on a cell phone and a computer. But who knows, maybe Opera will come around and make a web browser for the Switch since they seem to like to put their browser on every device they can.
I haven't seen what previous years floor plans have been but that's a rather sizeable floor space for Nintendo. Likely one of the smaller areas will be dedicated for the 3DS, since there's Fire Emblem Echoes coming out later this year for the system. Mario Odyssey is a given, and Splatoon 2. Not sure what else may be in store, I know there were rumors of a new Pikmin game and a new Smash so maybe those will be showcased.
It's games like this that make me want to go entirely digital like I am on my 3DS but then I'm tempted to go physical because of those great retail boxes the games come in. I am only tempted because there seem to be a lot of digital only games coming to the Switch and if part of my collection is digital why not go entirely digital?
I picked those three mainly because of the themes and styles of each game. I really adore the darkness of MM and TP, and the goofiness of LA that still is charming today.
From the bits I saw from the reveal trailer it looks to be closer to the SE edition than the original based on some of the textures. Though it's unlikely it will perform and look the same as SE. It would be a little weird to label it "Special Edition" if it's a tweaked version that looks different from the other consoles, so maybe it might be just called "Switch Edition". Or maybe it has Nintendo exclusive content with Mario references similar to how other third parties have treated their ports on Nintendo consoles which would make it weird to call SE if it's got different content than the other versions.
I dunno.
Windwaker, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword all had the tunic given to Link after completing the beginning part of the story. A lot of the gameplay shown of BOTW seems to be right after he leaves the cave, so we likely will see his green tunic later after a large quest in the story.
@MitchVogel I believe it's because Netflix can now charge your subscription through iTunes. I guess just an easier way to unify some of your purchases.
I've got no problem with this at all. Additional modes and little goodies and an entire new story sound like a pretty good deal for 20 bucks. I also have a feeling that there may be more content intended in the future, maybe a way to keep the game alive throughout the lifespan of the Switch. Just remember Call of Duty charges 15 bucks per map pack which only includes 4 maps and a zombie map, not like an entire new story or mode to the base game.
@luke88 TBH my least favorite part of 3D Zelda games are the dungeons so I guess I'm okay with them being optional or omitted but I know it's not the case for everybody else. Though I do remember reading years ago that dungeons were going to be a main part of the game in Breath of the Wild but can be completed in any order the player wishes.
I love the little chimes that play during the system setup. Also the sounds that play for each option you open is a nice touch. Though I do hope there's some kind of Mii music that plays in the Mii Maker, I doubt there will be since it's buried in settings but another rendition of the original Mii Channel would be great. I can only hope for that small detail.
Looks pretty fun though my only concern would be the game being too short. The article mentions there being only 15 levels but maybe they're replayed to collect all the special coins or whatever.

Re: E3 2017 Floor Plans Show Another Sizeable Nintendo Booth
@Nin_Myski Oh yay! I would be rather happy with a new Pikmin game this year.

Re: Poll: Nintendo Switch Countdown - Less Than a Week to Go, Is the Hype Building?
Got it preordered and now I gotta wait. I'm super excited as I need more portable games to play in my free time and my 3DS is starting to get stale.

Re: Virtual Console Will Not Be Ready For Nintendo Switch Launch
I would rather them take their time and get Virtual Console right than to make a subpar service.
Re: Eiji Aonuma Lists His Top Three Favorite Zelda Games
Mine probably would be:
1. Twilight Princess
2. Link's Awakening
3. Majora's Mask
I picked those three mainly because of the themes and styles of each game. I really adore the darkness of MM and TP, and the goofiness of LA that still is charming today.

Awesome I was able to nab a pretty sweet name. I hate putting numbers in my username so this makes me happy.

Pretty nice innards.
