If you missed the news, Nintendo's upcoming smartphone title Dr. Mario World was given a confirmed release date of 10th July earlier today. Alongside the main announcement, Nintendo has released three little teaser trailers to hype up the game ahead of release.
All three videos star the Viruses that were present in the main trailer for the game and act as animated promotional shorts. We've shared all three of them below if you want to check them out - luckily, the Viruses don't talk as much in these as they did in the full trailer, which is probably just as well.
It has also been confirmed that the game will only be available on specific smartphone stores in certain countries. We shared full details on the app's availability earlier today.
To be fair, hearing these things talk does make us want to pop them out of existence immediately, so perhaps the marketing is actually working a treat?

Cute. I pre-registered already so not much else to say.
@PBandSmelly Apparently he's upped his game.
I know they're only a few seconds long, but I really love these teasers.
@PBandSmelly I totally want to know what illness Green is. We know Fever, Chill, and Flu.
Give us an epic Dr. Mario for Switch!
Too bad there isn't a portable gaming device of some sort they could also release this on. Oh well.
@KingBowser86 the four dr mario songs are named: fever, chill, cough and sneeze.
Sneeze certainly fits the green color. It actually has a green icon in the gba game.
@Cotillion I honestly would rather play this on my phone than Switch. Easier to pull out my phone on break than to lug around my Switch. Dr Mario is perfect for mobile.
@RazorThin I don't disagree.....but there's really no reason this couldn't also be on Switch as well as mobile. Included with NSO alongside Tetris99, even.
Doesn't make sense to me to release mobile games that exclude their own portable device.
Did anyone else not like the voice acting in those videos? It was so cringe to me.
@gloom LOL! Pretty terrible.
Awful voice acting. They should at least overact to make it funny.
@Morpheel Cough, eh? That makes more sense seeing as Chill and Fever are symptoms. First few games had "Flu" instead of "Cough."
Well well, welcome aboard, Sneeze!
I feel like they could turn this into some kind of Minions-like feature animation if they wanted to.
The mobile game itself actually looks kinda crap though.
not even gonna bother downloading this. it looks awful.
@Cotillion @RazorThin it won’t be a very good game on the switch, it will be pretty good on the 3ds, but there is a problem here, Nintendo want to separate the phones games from console because a phone game can be “freemium” but a console game will really badly acclaimed if it will be freemium for the most part
Good IP choice for a smartphone game. Nintendo shouldn't cheapen its main franchises by putting them on devices for free. Doctor Mario fits the bill perfectly.
This looks like a way easier sell than something like mario run. And dr. Mario on my phone sounds pretty awesome
Uh I love Dr Mario and the 3ds game but this looks questionable now that it's match 3 and they changed the gameplay.
@tendonerd it's always been match 3.
@Nintendo_Thumb Nope, match 4. My brain will have trouble adapting to that switch...
@Floof_Cat Oh that's right, I forgot about that. Guess I haven't played much in a while.
Next we need an Ice Climbers reboot
Okay maybe that’s a stretch...
Funny teasers.
