Heck, I halfway don't even want the Japanese names to stick around. I was glad in the '90s when they changed Sailor Moon's name to "Serena" for the English dub. "Mega Man" works better for English-speaking audiences than "Rock Man." Dr. Robotnik is better than Dr. Eggman...you get the point. Some things just don't translate well, and I'd rather them change it than try to shoehorn something that just doesn't work in English for the sake of "purity."

I am of the unpopular opinion that if you're going to dub something from Japanese to English, DON'T try to sound like the Japanese version. Put your own spin on the characters. Nothing is more cringe to me than an English-speaking actor trying to shoehorn pseudo-Japanese mannerisms into his speech.

If you're going to make an Enlgish version, make it just that: An ENGLISH VERSION.

AI wouldn't even be possible if we weren't so predictable already (remember, it draws from us). Like art hasn't been about making money for a good while now... The only difference is AI churns out the crap faster, that's all.

I always thought it would be pretty cool to use AI on something like Animal Crossing (just on the characters, not the visuals or gameplay) where when I talk to the villagers they would actually understand what I'm saying and respond accordingly, instead of it feeling like I'm talking to a wall.

Mega Man used the exact same sprite for six games straight I don't wanna hear this from him.

I don't buy DLC, never have, never will. In my opinion if it wasn't good enough for the main game then it's not that important.

They should include original FF8. I don't care for those remodels.

Meh, I'm no longer a hipster in my 20s, I really don't care anymore. A part of me wants to think it's a Japanese thing, like some cultural difference on how they define "art."

How do you make something hip-hop related without being cringe? Just make it silly and colorful. I think what made Parappa work was that it was so goofy and didn't take itself seriously. It was a creative way of bringing hip-hop to videogames without making anyone uncomfortable. I miss the days when gaming was bursting with creativity and innovation.

I don't know why — It's a personal thing — but I just can't bring myself to play stuff like this. It just screams "off-brand cereal" lol. Couldn't play Bomb Rush Cyberfunk either. There's just something weirdly gross and cash-grabby about the whole practice to me.

I'm sure people just want it as a collector's item and won't do anything freaky with it at all!

Well me personally, I never buy the first version of any console, I always wait for the better version that comes out a couple years later. So I won't be an early adopter, but it's cool, I have pleny of games to tide me over in the meantime.

Lame excuse. These characters are all made up. They're as "mature" as you write them to be.

Metal Sonic? Chaotix? Who else is really left? I think they need to be careful not to get TOO carried away with this thing.

Okami doesn't need a sequel. The game is so damn long it's practically two games already.

@N00BiSH How many Mega Man games are there? Why do we need another one? If you need your Mega Man fix, go play one of the several hundred that already exist. Bring back Maximo.

I know I'm in the minority here but I really don't like this version of Knuckles. For one, Knuckles isn't supposed to be all buddy-buddy with Sonic and Tails. I mean, he's cool with them, but Knuckles is more of a loner in the games; he's not hanging around all the time. He's not chilling with them in weird restaurants. I don't like his voice either and his personality is off. I like this Shodow though and I'll still see the film, but man, they dropped the ball with Knux imo.

Palworld fans are obnoxious. They never cared about the monster taming genre until somebody added guns and animal abuse. They only like Palworld because it blatantly rips off Pokemon and they see it as them "sticking it" to Nintendo, then have the nerve to act all "how dare you" about the lawsuit. Obnoxious.

Final Fantasy also gets that a lot. When it comes out it gets rave reviews, then like a year later everyone talks about how overrated it is, lol.

Speak for yourself, I love those cheesy English dubs. They have a certain charm to them.

I'm disappointed there's no Donkey Kong version. There's a lot of great music there.

Game freaking rocks. I downloaded it on an absolute whim, I saw the trailer on the eshop, thought it looked pretty cool and decided to try it. It has some jank but I'm loving this game.

What annoys me are the people who act like censorship is some new thing that just started recently. Back in the day games like this rarely came to the west at all because they were too risque. At least we get the games now.

English dub? I believe the original PS2 game had it (although I could be wrong), here's hoping they at least give the option.

Dragon Quest Treasures, finally got around to it. I'm having a blast so far, weird that I never really hear anyone talk about this game, I think it's great.

Didn't like CrossCode. Didn't like the combat system and this looks a little too similar for my liking. So as stunning as it looks visually, probably gonna have to pass on this.

I remember seeing this mofo at the video store all the time when I was a kid, and always wanted to try it, but there was always something else I wanted a little bit more, so I never did (we were only allowed to rent one game at a time).

The Rocket Knight collection, I'm currently waiting for my copy to arrive in the mail. Haven't played them since the '90s and I'm kinda worried they won't be as fun as I remember.

Some people don't care about the politics, all they see is a solid game. Some people never played it on 3DS so to them, it's new. Please don't speak for everyone; everybody's gaming experience is different. Just because you played the game before and don't think it's worth $60 doesn't mean everyone has.

I always thought it would be cool if they pulled a "Metroid" and had Shovel Knight take off the helmet at the end of one game to reveal it's a woman.

If Nintendo decided to never release another console, I honestly wouldn't blame them. They've proven everything already, they have nothing else to prove. You want amazing graphics and huge worlds, you have 2 other consoles to choose from. Honestly what can Nintendo really bring to that space that hasn't been done already?

Laser Eyes looks dope, it's giving me Killer7 vibes. Europa looks great and Little Kitty might be fun for a chuckle. That's all for me though.

Haven't played a Monkey Ball since the Gamecube, but I'm feeling like it's time to get back into it. Plus Monkey Ball on the go sounds pretty awesome.

Man between this, Berserk Boy, Penny's Breakaway and even Princess Peach, I've been having a blast so far with my favorite genre on Switch this year, and it's still early!

What's the difference between Fatal Fury and King of Fighters?

I played the first one just for laughs, and while it was clearly aimed at a younger audience, it wasn't a "bad" game by any means. Fully voiced, animated cutscenes, smooth and responsive controls. The gameplay was basically fetch quests and mini games, but wasn't terrible. for what it was, I enjoyed it.
