May you live long and stay healthy, Miyamoto-san. The biggest icon in video game creation, no doubt in my mind. Thank you for your contributions to the medium we all love.
Yes please, if you support it (unlike the Vita) and bring back some classic PS1/PS2 era franchises (I'm not interested in Horizon, Last of Us or God of War).
I've really enjoyed my time with Welcome Tour so far. I would say it's a 7 or an 8 for mer personally. A lot of fun mini games, some hidden secrets and other stuff makes it fun!
@Kingy It could also be the case that they have that info on the box so that people that already own BotW or Kirby on Switch 1 will know that they don't have to buy this whole package, they can just purchase the upgrade separately. So I don't think it is as clear as you believe. And if the upgrade was a download code, shouldn't the disclaimer on the box say that: "Download via the Internet is required"? It does not. That's why it's so unclear. So I don't agree with you.
@WiltonRoots Yeah, I put like 11 hours into Radiant Silvergun before I beat it. It was frustrating at times and really hard, but well worth it in the end. I love it!
@jake1421 I've preordered Eschatos from Strictly Limited. Espgaluda II and DoDonPachi Resurrection are two awesome titles, sadly not on the eshop anymore.
@BASEDSAKRI I agree! Sadly a hidden gem as it never got released outside of Japan.
@WiltonRoots Some bangers there!
Radiant Silvergun is hard as hell at first, but the longer you play, the easier it gets. It's such a good game! I prefer it over Treasure's other shmup classic, Ikaruga.
@JohnnyMind You can't go wrong with either Mushihimesama or RayForce.
@BASEDSAKRI I would love to play Ketsui one day. Right now I'm playing Ketsui: Death Label on the Nintendo DS. It's only a boss rush, but very fun! Hard as hell though...
@JohnnyMind You're welcome! Sadly, some of the Cave shmups have been removed from the US and EU eshops, but they're available physically, at least here in Europe.
I hope we'll see it on the European eshop soon as well. I've been shmup bitten this year and played through over 70 shmups, among them many Cave classics. Good fun!
@rjejr See if you can find a used copy of the 3DS game, as it is one of the best Kirby games. I would even argue it is the very best one. It is well worth playing. 🙂
What a shame, as the previous titles, Cosmo Dreamer and Like Dreamer, are excellent shmups. I hope East Asia Soft will release an Asian physical release for import.
@AG_Awesome I've sent it in via the form that is linked in the article, so they can't miss it. I'd rather them review smaller titles and indies than add to the already thousands of reviews of a AAA game from a multi billion dollar franchise.
@JohnnyMind The graphical style can also be a hit or miss, depending on one's preferences. I like the simplistic charm of the original, but the watercolor graphics of the remake are pretty beautiful IMO.

Re: Kirby Air Riders: Guide, Tips & Tricks, All Modes & Unlocks
@Joeynator3000 I think it was via GVG. It works with the Switch 2 Pro Controller if I remember correctly.
Edit: Found it.

Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting The New Kirby Air Riders amiibo?
@Tisteg80 Aren't these figures bigger than regular amiibos? Not justifying the price though.
Re: Best Zelda Games Of All Time
@Pillowpants The remake on 3DS doesn't count? That one's awesome!
Re: Digital Foundry Covers The "Disappointing Tech" In Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Yeah, the game's not a looker.
But I enjoyed it very much, my favorite Pokémon game on Switch (besides New Pokémon Snap). Would give it an 8/10.

Some favorites released on Switch and Switch 2 this year, so far:
Re: Review: The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition - A Sublime Sequel, Now Sublimer
@jwfurness According to all available information, everything is on the cart. So I think you'll be fine upgrading to the Switch 2 physical version.

Re: Review: Yakuza 0: Director's Cut (Switch 2) - A Series Highlight That's Never Looked Or Played Better
Maybe I should try this game? Haven't played any Yakuza titles.
Kiryu's English voice acting being bad doesn't surprise me as it is done by YouTuber Yong Yea. 😅

Re: Review: DoDonPachi SaiDaiOuJou (Switch) - Cave's Vicious Shooter Is Close To The Series' Best
Oh, @JohnnyMind, if you want to try RayForce, get the Ray'z Arcade Chronology (which also includes RayStorm and RayCrisis).
There's also a collection that only includes RayStorm and RayCrisis, avoid that one as RayForce is the best game out of them.
Also avoid the RayForce release called Layer Section & Galactic Attack: S-Tribute as it has bad input lag.
Ray'z Arcade Chronology is the collection you'd want. RayForce is a 10/10 game IMO, RayStorm is a 9/10 and RayCrisis a 7/10.
Re: Review: DoDonPachi SaiDaiOuJou (Switch) - Cave's Vicious Shooter Is Close To The Series' Best
@RushDawg Yeah, GG Aleste 3 is my favorite in the Aleste Collection. It is so good and it's extra cool that M2 made it with Game Gear tech!
The other three you mention are also awesome!

I've noticed you haven't reviewed Peglin yet either. It is excellent and deserves a look!
Re: Community: Did We Miss A Switch Game You Love? Send Us Your Recommendations
The two cute em ups Cosmo Dreamer and Like Dreamer. Really charming and fun shmups worth a look.
