Lovely art style! Is the mobile game any good?

Will there be a standard retail release, both in Europe and the US?

It seems that some people only care about the graphics.

Shin Megami Tensei V got down from 87 to 85 since last time I checked. But it doesn't matter. It's my favorite game of the year!

I don't care for football (or any other sport), but this game looks very charming!

So no European physical release...

Some of them needs to be put down for their own sake.

A lot of awesome purchases for me personally, so would give it a 9/10.

I have played three (IMO) 10/10 Switch titles this year: New Pokémon Snap, Metroid Dread and Shin Megami Tensei V. SMTV is my favorite one.

Edit: Oh, I forgot The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles! That's also a 10!

Yeah, haven't played it and heard it's one of the best in the series. Only played Sticker Stars (yuck!) and The Origami King (good!).

Didn't watch it and seems I didn't miss anything noteworthy.

@IronMan30 There are pros and cons with most countries. But the social security is pretty good here.

I was hoping for Metroid Dread, but this seems like a deserved win.
Josef Fares directed a lot of good movies here in Sweden, before moving on to video games. Cool that his studio got this recognition!

@AmplifyMJ Yeah, here in Sweden 8 hours per day (40 hours per week) is considered a normal full-time job. I think it's the same in a lot of European countries, but I'm not sure.

Might be that we work less hours overall though than the US? You might take into account some people with full-time employments reducing their working hours, to take care of their children or study or something else. I know a lot of people who are only working 75%, though they have full-time jobs, of course cutting their monthly salary.

It's the same in my country: Diamond is more popular. Maybe because it shows up first in order?

@JasmineDragon Same here. Though I play Pokémon Diamond as well at the moment. And I own Animal Crossing, but got tired of it early on.

But SMTV and Danganronpa are where it's at! Though my physical copy of the latter got delayed, hope it shows up this week.

I recently got Brigandine and Astria Ascending too, seems like two fine titles.

I don't know if any of these games are bad, really, but the most boring ones to me are the two DS games. Couldn't get into those.

There's a lot of dislike for Zelda II, but is that because of the game's quality or its reputation? I've been playing it some on the new G&W and sure, it's hard and pretty primitive, but also kinda interesting and... yeah... fun! Would love to see a remake of it!

Never really gave the DS original a chance, but I relly dig this remake so far and find it more entertaining than Sword and Shield. It’s not perfect, but it has that classic Pokémon feel I remember from playing Red/Blue/Yellow/Gold/Silver as a child. I think the DS originals came out at a time when my interest in Pokémon had dropped, and even though I played it, I never really got into it. So I’m glad I got another chance on the Switch.

I prefer the cel-shading. It will age better.

Seeing as other SW games, that first got a LRG release, later got European retail releases, I will probably skip this.

@Razzy Play whatever you like. If you think the games look bad, that's your opinion and it's fine as long as you don't insult other people's intelligence like the insecure fella above. I think these remakes look fine. Nothing remarkable, but not mobile quality either. Taste differs.

Regarding the sales argument: yeah, that's pretty stupid. But it also comes down to opinion. A lot of people like these games. I can't say that some of these titles are objectively bad, just not my taste. Some games I like sell like crazy, some games I like don't. I still enjoy them equally though.

Getting it after work today, didn't play the original that much so I'm looking forward to trying it again. Used copies of the DS games are expensive as hell right now, especially Platinum, so this is the easiest and cheapest way to play them, at least where I live.

Will get Diamond as I like the design of the legendary more. Great to play between Shin Megami Tensei V sessions.

I've been watching some of the demon reveals on Atlus' YouTube page. The design of the monsters is so detailed and creative.

Why can't it be the 12th already?

Shin Megami Tensei V is the must have this month.

But I will also get Pokémon Diamond and the Zelda Game & Watch.

Maybe the GTA Trilogy.

Played through the 3D All-Stars version, and yes, it’s still a 10/10.

@thiz Is it really? Most SMT games are solid RPG experiences, so I wouldn't call it a wild card. Based on what we've seen so far and some hands on previews from gaming channels, this game oozes quality. My bet is that this game will be at least an 8 on average, but probably higher.

If you haven't played a SMT game before, this title looks like the best and easiest way to get into the series.
