I played the demo for this twice, because I forgot that I had played the entire thing the first time, so finished it and then realized I already had done so. I was underwhelmed and disappointed both times. The controls are amazing, but the game seems like garbage.
I'm rarely in a position to say this, but if you're having trouble with bounty Hunter, you gotta get gud. Also, in case this is the issue, use the flamethrower on the Bando Gora Shadows.
Can you start with Boba Fett from the beginning now? With cheats?
I saw the Game boy cover, and I saw the caption quickly, and I thought this was about super Mario Land 2. I'm disappointed there's no space Mario figure.
@Pillowpants The trick is to never beat the game then you don't know. I didn't know it was supposed to be until now, because of the kid I just played the first level, and then died in the second one. I doubt that's canon though, given that it added turnips, shyguys, and other things into the lexicon.
If this page proves one thing, it's that it's very easy to say things on the internet, when no one really knows who you are, and you can't see the person on the other side. I tend to judge JK Rowling find my messages in her work, rather than by the stupid stuff she says on Twitter. Incidentally that goes for everybody on the internet just about, people have very much lost touch with the real world, myself included some of the times.
I always really enjoy these articles though, because it's really hard to sift through all the junk these days on the eShop.
@Savage_Joe I didn't say the switch lite couldn't do something that the switch can. I just said that Nintendo doesn't allow you to duplicate save files.
@Eel For some games sure, but it's extremely limited functionality, also I don't really want my saves tied to a subscription service. They should just let you duplicate your files onto another system whenever you want, but as it stands you can only move, not copy.
The main problem with switch lites is the inability to duplicate save files. Given how badly Nintendo seems to want to sell more systems, you'd think they would fix that.
@Hee-ho-master That's mind blowing to me, if they had had skateboarding in the Olympics back when he was his peak, he'd probably be considered one of the greatest athletes of all time with many gold medals to his name. Rodney Mullen is still probably the greatest skateboarder, and he's real too!
@-wc- The solution to all of this, of course, is for Nintendo to put some of their considerable time and money into making new IPS. Maybe some games that aren't written to be understood by children, and can delve into more complex things without it seeming like a forced issue.
@Geit_de I am mediocre at video games, and have no issues playing any of the 3D Mario's. I would actually say that since galaxy they've basically been too easy. I think it's fine if someone doesn't want to play them, but calling them too hard is pretty wild. You're probably doing yourself a disservice by not playing Mario Wonder, and most of the levels are basically a breeze.
@Daniel36 I don't think the grid matters much in this game, at least not in the trailer, I didn't really see any characters moving. It looks like it's for more Mario RPG rhythm-based attacks and Dodges
@Daniel36 I don't even know what to say to this, that's not what the genre I described is called. Do you think that every classic final fantasy and dragon quest is a strategy or tactical rpg?
@Daniel36 It has turn based battles that happen when you encounter a bad guy in an isometric anime overworld. I don't know what else you would call it.
@cylemmulo They also compared it to power wash simulator, it's hard to take this review too seriously. Just read steam reviews, since it's been out on there for years.
Jackbox games are fun anytime I've played them, but they're always premium priced on switch, and there's just no reason to play them there over anywhere else given that you just use a phone anyway.
If you look closely, the North America is definitely the better piece of art, but if you just see it in passing, the Japanese looks better. They're both pretty ugly though
I bought the first game day one, didn't beat it yet. Definitely wasn't the perfect game, the levels are too long at times, and the music was repetitive, but an amazing first effort. The dev is super talented, and seems pretty nice.
Good for them leaving a job they hate, though honestly as long as there's not straight up discrimination or harassment going on, I tend to side with the driven creative talent.
@batmanbud2 First you need to have games of that quality again. Imagine if preordering something like this came with... idk, an exclusive code for Burnout 3 or something. I'd have preordered it already
@Uncle_Franklin Well I think there's like a new version that's currently on? But this is clearly marketed towards people who grow'd up (sorry) in the 90's. Despite watching it a lot and seeing both films and theaters, I always found Rugrats actually fairly tedious, and as I've gotten older, I've come to view it as one of the worst animated shows of all time, largely because of it's terrible voice cast which pervaded all of television. In recent years though people have edited just the adult stories together, and I think a lot of people enjoy those more, and I can see the appeal in a lot of ways.
They're actually aren't too many great twin stick shooters, aside from a few outliers it's a fairly new genre, so I'm always excited if there's a good one potentially.
It's weird to me that these games are getting a re-release, not because I don't like them, what I've played of them is quite good, they're just very niche.
@-wc- I think this is a fair question to ask. I think it all has to do with how challenges are set up and how dopamine is distributed into your brain, and for what accomplishments. Balatro is a good game, and is also the most addictive game I've ever played, but it is far from the best game ever played. I think to most people's minds there isn't a distinction between these things, and in the short attention span world we inhabit, it actually is important to draw that distinction. There's random distribution, so you get that little jolt of getting the thing you were looking for, or getting something new and exciting. It automates everything for you, just enough so that you do enough work to feel good about it, but don't have to do so much work that it feels like work. It's really easy to start over, and it's so immersive that you really feel invested in what you're doing. I imagine this game is built along similar lines to balatro.

Are the loading times as bad as they were in the steam demo? Does anyone know?

Re: Feature: The Nintendo Museum Goes Hard On Merch & Fun, But Could Dive Deeper Into History
Nintendo going hard on fun and neglecting other things, sounds familiar.

THUG 1&2 remastered, with the updated PSP version of two. That won't happen though.

@cylemmulo Well I think powerwash simulator is shovelware garbage and making comparisons to it reflects poorly on the game you are reviewing.

@Deev 99 percent of twin stick shooters have been made since the mid 2000's, there were a few before then, and most were robotron.
