To me it's worth it. I have four kids and we all have switches, I used Christmas money to buy it, so I didn't really pay for it anyways. But even if I used my own money, it's definitely worth it for the games, DLC and other stuff. To get the DLC for all of us it would be more than the family plan price, hence why I got it.

@Fizza but it’s ground/water and her Pokémon is electric. Unless it’s another evo or region exclusive I doubt it’s that Pokémon

i am personally happy about them adding more things to do. At least it's not the same old same old. Plus I prefer them being single use. It puts strategy into the game.

Already got this preordered. So excited for it since it combines two of my favourite things, farm sim & RPG. I know there’s Rune Factory but those just don’t grab me the same way. I own Rune Factory 4 and just don’t play it.

Haven’t gotten this yet but definitely will before it is out of early access. Big Disney fan so it’s worth it for me to get a Founder’s pack plus my birthday is next month so this will be a present to myself.

I'm keeping my expectations low. I think we'll see Pokemon, BoW2 (title reveal), Rabbids, Sonic, Bayonetta 3 and Dragon Quest.

definitely getting this. It's up for preorder on Gamestop but I don't have 500 bucks for it right now, otherwise I would snap it up in a heartbeat.

This trailer just cemented how excited I am for this game. And I definitely need that OLED lol

getting both physically and digitally since I have to share with my four kids, all who play Pokemon. We got the dual pack physically and I'm getting Violet digitally on my Switch.

I preordered this game a while back and forgot about it but I will try it out. My eldest son is excited for it though so worse comes to worst I will give it to him, if I don't like it. I don't mind VN or strategy games (big FE fan).

I'm glad that the people I watch on Youtube don't post spoilers. I preordered this game awhile back and completely forgot about it. I'm so surprised that they didn't promote this game more. I had completely forgotten what it was about. Anyways I will be trying out this game and if I don't like it, giving it to my son

Barold, Al and Tabby are the only ones I don't like on that list. I'm not a fan of gorilla butts, the only gorillas I will tolerate are Boone, Hans and Rocket. Barold just looks weird with a five o'clock shadow on a cub, and Tabby's smile creeps me out but I wouldn't say they're ugly, just not my cup of tea.

Can't afford it right now so I have to wait probably a month before I can get it.

we're getting both because I have to share with my kids. I'm very excited because I like the direction that Legends went in but it's just not for me. I tried it and got frustrated with the missions lol not saying it's a bad game or anything. my boys love Legends. anyways I'm picking the grass starter because I love cats. The other two are cool too. the game I will be playing is Violet because it's my fav color.

I’m surprised no one has talked about the cheaper moving fees. It’s now only 10k to move the museum, shops , campsite and villagers’ houses. And only 8k to move your house. I also love the new items. I just got the dormant volcano on Nook shopping today

Playing Shining Pearl and ACNH too. Might also start a play through with Brilliant Diamond this weekend too, once I get my dual pack.

I’m loving it. I got Shining Pearl digitally and found the underground to be addicting. Plus apparently the gorgeous statues do stack and make it easier to find shiny pokémon. Saw it first hand when someone (HDVee) streamed and found a shiny Mukrow after putting 18 gorgeous statues in their secret base. 87 encounters in he found it.

I’m getting the dual pack once Amazon ships it. Also getting a digital copy of one of them since I will have to share the dual pack with my kids

Getting Pokémon BDSP double pack once Amazon decides to send it. Might also use my $50 eshop card to digitally download a copy , just not sure which one, since I’ll have to share the double pack with my kids.

I just flattened my island and redesigning after the update was announced. Just fine tuning my island now….making my house into a farm and redoing my campsite area….maybe move a few houses . I have 1million bells saved up and over 100k Nook Miles so I’m all set that way. Once I get my Switch OLED, I’m going to start another island with the update stuff.

The game was awesome at launch and totally disagree with you there. I like it so much better than New Leaf……like honestly COVID had a lot to do with having to wait a year and half for this update.

The family plan is still cheaper than PSN. Although it kind of scares me for what the exchange rate will be for Canadians. I think I will just buy the DLC since I don’t really use NSO as it is.

I’m getting myself one as a belated birthday present to myself. I asked for giftcards and am now waiting to see what my dad is getting me (usually sends money)…then I should have enough to get one. I mostly play in handheld mode anyways.

If I can find one at a later date I will. I’m getting a second Switch for me so I can give my Switch lite to my son Aiden. Using birthday money to get it so I have to wait until the 20th at least.

It’s my daughter’s and my birthday this month. I’m restarting my island today. So excited for the direct.

I’m excited for the Mario movie, ACNH direct, Rune Factory 5, Mario Party Superstars, Shin Megami Tensei V, Disney Magical World 2, Splatoon 3 and the Kirby game.

I’m still getting this because it’s one game my whole family will play together. I never played the N64 games so this will be new to me and my family.

I’m happy about this game. It looks amazing and I’m a big fan of Kirby so are my kids.

I was surprised by this. I was kind of hoping we would get a third game in the series, not a remake of the second game. I’m probably still going to get this because I loved the second game but kind of wish they updated the style of it. I didn’t like the look of my character in those games.

I’m sorry but I disagree with all of you who say New Leaf has more content than New Horizons and I have played both games. I have been playing NH since it released and love all the content that it has. I like being able to design my island the way I want it. I hated the ordinances from New Leaf…yeah I liked the island that you could go to with friends but they did give us mystery islands and multiplayer, although I agree that compared to New Leaf it’s a little lacklustre. I also miss being able to play hide and seek with your villagers and the mini games. I’m excited to get new content and can’t wait to see this direct even if they just add Brewster. It’s not going to take away the enjoyment and the help that this game gave me during the pandemic. It helped me with my mental health and I will be forever grateful to Nintendo for that. I’m not saying that people aren’t entitled to their opinions, I just don’t agree with you…hence why it’s my opinion and you guys are allowed to have yours. Have a good day everyone.

I have 14 right now with another eight preordered and the Pokémon advent calendar preordered too. I’m only missing charmander, squirtle, eevee, meowth, and a few others.
