Re: I Don't Always Agree With Shigeru Miyamoto On The Essence Of Zelda, Admits Eiji Aonuma

Who would disagree with him really? Miyamoto has been aggressively streamlining his game ideas as of late. He presently aims for more homogeneous, formulated structures rather than the ambitious. Examples of course being Star Fox Zero and the last two Paper Marios. Thankfully, he seems to be allowing new developers to reign free for Super Mario Odyssey. So that's a good sign.

Re: Warner Bros Resurrects Disney Infinity Studio Avalanche For Cars 3 Video Game

If people haven't tried the Cars 2 videogame yet, I'd highly recommend it. After seeing the disappointing movie that it accompanies, I was actually suprisingly impressed by how much fun I had with it. It's similar to Mario Kart, but with shooter elements added to the mix. There's even a fun battle/mission mode attached to it.

So in short? Don't dismiss this game just because it's Cars-based. Avalanche knows what they're doing.

Re: Nintendo Has No Plans For Additional Super Mario Run Content

I swear, people defend Nintendo on everything. Creating a mobile game that doesn't fit the basic mobile module is a stupid decision. So what if people are complaining that the game isn't free? Pokemon Go is free, and I don't see Nintendo or Niantic losing money. And it's not like that game bombards you with ads like most mobile titles. Mario Run could have easily gone the same route.

And the fact that Nintendo has no intention of releasing free updates to a $10 game with only 20+ levels rather baffles me. This is the kind of logic you'd use for a handheld or console game. Not for the casual mobile market.
