It's okay, guys! According to research, Nintendo needs to protect the brand that they haven't used properly in nearly a decade! Think about it! AM2R could've killed Metriod!
Nintendo may have been in the legal right to remove AM2R, but that doesn't mean they should have. Negative PR is far more damaging to them at this stage than it ever has been, both financially and branding wise. Remember E3 2015? When their announcements underwhelmed, Nintendo's stocks slumped. As @PleaseUnderstan stated quite well, Nintendo should spend less time scrutinizing their fans and more time making sure they stay afloat as a company.

Re: Nintendo of America Issues Takedown Request on AM2R, Ending the Project
@PieNinja I don't see any reason why he can't be here. You can love Nintendo's games but hate their business practices.

Re: Metroid Prime: Federation Force Power Bombs in Japan
Why is anyone surprised by this? Nobody asked for a Hunters successor.
Re: EA's Peter Moore: We've Never Said We Won't Develop For Nintendo
Has EA ever heard of the phrase "Actions speak louder than words"?
