Ironic how Nintendo of America is saying it is out now, when it isn't actually out in North America. Might be a tweet scheduling error or something.

It's a shame the PS3/360/Steam version Generations never made it to a Nintendo system. That's easily the best one IMO.

Anyone saying there are no good 3D Sonic games is kidding themselves. Generations is fantastic and Colors is great! The Adventure games can be fun too, even though they haven't aged the best.

It is a shame that most of them haven't been good, but the ones that are good shouldn't be ignored, and should be used as a basis for making better games in the future. The reason why Forces failed was because the dev team tried to copy Generations without understanding what made Generations so good. (The controls and level design.) The same thing with Sonic 4, but compare that to Mania where the team behind that did understand what made the classics so beloved, and they made what is arguably the best game in the series.

Really seeming like the game was ruined based on what others have been saying, which is a shame.

Again, missed opportunity to to not include the original Mighty Gunvolt from 2014.

As it currently stands, it's the only game with "Gunvolt" in the title to not get a physical release of some sort.

I got a new copy a few weeks ago for $19.

Have yet to try it. I did like Curse of the Moon, though. But that's from a different developer.

I gotta agree, though I do think Ultimate has had some pretty nice surprises too (Ridley, Banjo, etc).

Mighty Gunvolt Burst physically should've been a compilation with the first Mighty Gunvolt from 2014. A "Mighty Pack" so to speak, to go alongside the "Striker Pack".

A real shame, and missed opportunity.

Best version of the game if played in handheld mode.

Fun gameplay, awesome and huge selection of full-length music, and the story is fantastic. Plus the graphics look great in HD.

The DS version was my favorite game on the system, but I'm sorry, I just like this version more. Controlling Neku was always the most fun part for me, and having that as the focus was fine IMO. It's also just more accessible to newcomers due to not having to control two characters at once.

If you hear that the controls are bad, it's referring to the Joy-Con controls. If you only play in TV mode, then fair enough, but I was fine playing this exclusively in handheld. I did the same thing for VOEZ.

I gotta be honest... For this one in particular, I think I want the digital version.

So, I live in the US, but I have another problem: I never received the game. Supposedly, it was left in the mailbox on the 19th, but it just wasn't there. I've contacted USPS and Kickstarter and The Yetee, all to no avail. It's really looking like I just wasted my money.

Yes. It was an interesting gameplay mechanic that set it apart from Mega Man, and it felt satisfying to destroy multiple enemies at once with. I prefer it to Copen's gameplay in Gunvolt 2 and Luminous Avenger iX, even though he is also fun to play as too.

I am very excited for this. Gunvolt 2 was my favorite game of 2016, and I've wanted a new one for a while now. Striker Pack was clearly setting the stage for this.

Wish the Namco Museum Archives went the Japanese version route of just having the base game free to download (with 1 game) and then you can buy the other games piecemeal.

If I could just buy Mappy for $2 or whatever I totally would.

Japan has the better character design, but North America has the better background.

I got 9 out of 10. I messed up on the last one.

I got the LRG version just the other night, but didn't know about the other version until after I bought the LRG one.

Had I of known, I would have gotten the other one, since it had more goodies and (IMO) better box art. But oh well.

I played this at SXSW last year.
It is excellent.

What kind of black magic are you using? When I tried remapping the GameCube controller, it said something like "this controller is not compatible for button remapping".

The Blaster Master Zero DLC characters always add unique and different gameplay experiences that lead for more replayability.

After they are done with DLC characters for BMZ 2, I hope they add a co-op boss battle mode like BMZ 1 had. That was a fun way to play with a friend, with each of you using different characters with different abilities against the bosses, Smash Bros. Brawl style.

It was my first time trying out the Doom series. I enjoyed it, but episode 4 certainly took me by surprise.

I literally just beat Doom 1 last week.

Then again, Nintendo added extra stuff to the Crimson Flower route in FE: Three Houses after I beat it, so I shouldn't be surprised at my luck.

At least these updates will help out when I get to Doom 2.

It feels more like an action RPG than a Warriors game. I've played both Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors, and this has a different feel from those two based on the Japanese demo alone.

I heard this version has an English dub while every other version does not.

I personally don't mind the lack of a dub in other versions, but there's that for those considering picking this version up before it is removed.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 3, Mighty Gunvolt Zero (featuring Jason from Blaster Master Zero), and then something else. Probably a new IP? Or maybe a new 8-bit Bloodstained?

Too soon for Blaster Master Zero 3, I feel.

Steins;Gate Elite.

Apparently, 0 and My Darling's Embrace got reviews, but not Elite, which is essentially the original game but with animated scenes instead of the original artwork. This could be the time to fix that. Perhaps @SayemAhmd could do it since he reviewed 0 and My Darling's Embrace.

@VR32X Glad I'm not the only one who detests the input lag in the Genesis Collection. Pretty much just ruins it for me, which is the main reason why I'll be picking up the Ages version of Sonic 2 later down the line.

Blaster Master Zero 2 is getting temporarily free Copen (from the Gunvolt games) DLC tomorrow. That is what I'll be getting.

I'll be getting the new BBTAG characters. I'm excited for them.

"Battle Hymn of the Soul" is in both Smash and BBTAG now, which is awesome.

Dimitri ahead of Yoshi and Peach is actually pretty surprising.

Everything I hear about Mario Kart Tour is bad. I just wish they'd release Mario Kart 9 on Switch already.

@MARl0 While I do agree with you that the artwork looks nice, at the end of the day a review is an opinion. If a reviewer thinks the art looks bad, they are more than allowed to say so in their review. As readers, stuff like artstyle is an element we actually can disagree on without playing the game.

Limited Run Games has been taking orders for physical copies. I think today is the last day to put an order in though. They ship in October.

Got the physical copy through Limited Run Games. I'll have to wait a bit longer, but that just gives me more time to finish the route I'm currently on in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

If only they could have crossed paths again in a Racing Transformed sequel...

TSR was fun, but the other Sega worlds and characters should come back for the next racing game. Maybe with Puyo, Valkyria, and Yakuza characters joining in too? Pretty please, Sega!

I already have VII on Steam, but I don't have VIII Remastered (or just VIII period), so I'll probably get this.

I dun goofed and missed it last time.

Persona 4 and 3 characters were also in BBTAG (as "Persona 4 Arena" characters), which was actually my first Persona-related game. I went on to buy Persona 5 after that, and Joker was announced for Smash while I was in the middle of it, lol.

I also bought Q2, and I plan on playing the other games too. Mostly in reverse release order, with the exception of games that have direct sequels. (I'll play P4 Arena and P4 Arena Ultimax after P4, and P2:EP after P2:IS, for example.)

Woah, is that "Joys" and "Cons" section new? Very cool!

@Ooccoo_Jr Academy has been fun from what I've played so far. It also has co-op and a vs. mode, both of which are pretty fun if you have friends to play them with. I got an eShop card for my birthday so I didn't mind getting it for $20, but if you don't want to replay the other games and only want the collection for Academy, you might want to add it to your wishlist and wait for a sale.
