Again, missed opportunity to to not include the original Mighty Gunvolt from 2014.
As it currently stands, it's the only game with "Gunvolt" in the title to not get a physical release of some sort.
Mighty No. 9 if that game was good.
What an outstanding game... if I were to buy this though, I’d be triple dipping. I don’t think I want to do that. If you haven’t played the game yet, you best be getting on that though because this is solid action-platforming.
Speaking of... I’m still anxiously awaiting my Blaster Master limited run!
@roysingh I choose physical because I don't have to worry about ever losing my games plus everyone else in my house can play the same games for the cost of only one game.
Ohhh and I have a resale value also if I ever do get tired of a game but I collect games so at that point it will go on the shelf and if I ever do sale it I will get some of my money back at least and not lose it when they decide to stop supporting the servers.
I absolutely loved Mighty Gunvolt Burst when it came out. If Comcept had just made this game, on a much smaller budget, called it Mighty No. 9, and released it five years ago, everyone would have been happy with the game and it would still be a viable series today. Instead, the only good MN9 games are this and the 3DS original Mighty Gunvolt, and the character is synonymous with Yogventures and Godus as over-promised, under-delivered crowdfunding disasters.
Anyway! Great game, worth your time as a digital purchase for sure. If Limited Run offers a cheaper game-only version without all the junk collectibles, I will pick it up.
@Dirty0814 That may be true to some point but in my case I am the only person in my family that plays on the Switch so I decided to buy them digital. And the games are tied to my eShop account and I can redownload them and don't have to worry about swapping carts. I chose Bakugan and Transformers Battlegrounds to have as physical and I had imported a few from Japan and so I do buy physical sometimes.
Did I miss the Castlevania and Contra collections from these guys?
They should had just bundle this game with the original Mighty Gunvolt and Mighty No. 9 just so to complete the Mighty trilogy of Beck's existence.
I’ll absolutely be getting this. I replayed it again recently and it’s still amazing. I love how all the weapons customisation makes the game a kind of sandbox. There are so many variations that pretty much any play style is supported.
@roysingh
Please let me introduce you to commas ( , )
Despite stating that the collector's edition is limited with 10am and 6pm batches, they actually clarified that it'll be open pre-order.
So it's, not actually all that limited.

Can we just stop for a second, and just stop milking a dead horse? The horse probably doesn't even feel it anymore... you can only stroke this horse so much...
@raygboyd333 Hope it's it beating a dear horse? They game had gotten very little press silver it originally came out so it kinda needs to be written about. I would have missed it off not for articles like this.
@Aneira Yes, the comma. It helps to break up run on sentences. It sometimes help with compound sentences. Commas can be wonderful tool. However, it can mislead to comma splices. So, commas can br used in variety of ways and it can be misused. Thus, proofreading was invented. I wish you luck Sir/Madam in your comma adventures.
Bought it as a dl. Not sure if I will wanna pay 30 bucks just to have it physically. I'll probably bite as I have all the others
Add it to the (backlog) queue!
Just (4 hours ago) ordered Ys Origin, so I'm slightly miffed I'll be paying shipping 'twice' (I actually like how they don't ship until EVERYTHING is ready), but maybe I can get through to Customer Service and cancel/re-order 'n add...
