@FernandoMachado Exactly. The same thing that the Steam deck does (and Tesla) . It's what pretty much every manufacturer in the world should be doing right now with the prevalence of scalping. People would prefer to wait months with a spot in line than to constantly be fighting to acquire a product.

I'm not in the credits for anything that I've done. In fact, nothing I've done even has credits. If credits are causing a problem in the video game industry, get rid of them. I just skip past them anyway.

Loved Joe and Mac though I haven't played the NSO release (kind of forgot it was there). I'll probably support it day one only if the price is fair (and it reviews well).

@Yomerodes Framerate parity will never happen. Best to just hope for 60fps. You can bet that if it's 60 fps on the Switch, it'll be 120 fps on the PS5/XSX.

@HeadPirate Can't be worse than Trials of Mana and I made it through that in one piece.

Here's the thing. There aren't that many N64 games in the expansion pack right now. Buy a year's sub (or less), play what you want, and then cancel after until a few more games that interest you show up on the service. Mario Kart 64 online is great and all. But Mario Kart 8 is undeniably a better game. Mario Party 3 is a champ though if that gets added, but I suspect we'll be mostly okay with Mario Party Superstars. Mario Tennis on the 64 is the best one though, and Mario Golf is up there. More of a true golf experience than Mario Golf on the Switch which is more running around.

This game sold me when they added my boy Leo. Plus a better online than Smash, and I'm in.

@Okko While I partially agree with this. As stated, Apple does not create any games. Therefore, Apple has nothing to do with those manipulative tactics in games created by other companies.

@Shadow_Dancer SNES shadowrun was one of my favorites too. The secret to the Volcano, was to max out invisibility and freeze. You'd go invisible to deal with most encounters and then you'd need to freeze the dragon at the end.

Price is the question now.

We like to talk about people spending that kind of money as dumb, but obviously, they've done something right in their life to have that kind of money to spend in the first place.

They may have been born into the right family. Or picked the right numbers in the lottery. Or pulled the lever on the right slot machine.

@IronMan30 Why so nitpicky? Deathloop is confirmed to be coming to Xbox eventually. Delta rune is confirmed to be coming to the Switch. Knowing the progress of development is relevant to followers of the game.

Booting up Nexomon sometime later today. Snagged it at the pre order price of $8. That's worth trying to see if they can do what Nintendon't.

Probably also continuing to climb that Monster Train. I'm currently at covenant 7. Might try to make it to 10 before the weekend is over.

May also do another chapter of Bug Fables. Just finished Chapter 2 and those hard mode bosses are no joke.

@zapswitch Because the bluetooth hardware is terrible and you're better off with a bluetooth dongle due to the audio lag.

Finally bought starlink's digital deluxe edition. Been telling myself, I'd pick it up whenever it dropped under $20.

@thegametb I use a Bluetooth dongle paired with Bluetooth earphones for my Switch and while the lag is noticeable it's far better than what's being described in this article.

E.g. The sound of Sonic jumping occurs right after he leaves the ground. Not at the peak of his jump.

I'm trying to wrap up the end game in Hades. I feel like I should be close, but I'm not sure. Also, playing the demo of Shadowverse which seems like a pretty cool game. Definitely has strong Hearthstone vibes.

Not sure if I'm going to get the full version of Shadowverse immediately after finishing the demo as I've been waiting for King's Bounty 2 for awhile and that's right around the corner. But Shadowverse is definitely good enough for me to get eventually.

@Dragonslacker1 I like to use the 8bitdo controllers when playing the NSO games and they have the feel of the SNES controllers. The snow levels of Donkey Kong Country are so hard. Good luck. Have fun.

I can't help but wonder if Paper Mario Origami King will eventually have a dedicated fanbase after its been out for over 10 years.

I enjoy the traditional paper Mario games, but that origami battle system is just not fun for me.

An important distinction is that there are very few oddball Zelda games with Skyward Sword being one.

Every paper Mario game after thousand year door has been an oddball game.

I don't care if these games are released on NSO or ported/emulated and sold separately, just make them available.

@Ajent I'd be curious if there's a difference between game performance when running on SteamOS vs running on native Windows. I would assume the SteamOS has been optimized such that it can do more with fewer resources. To that end, I'm would like to know if it's possible to install the Xbox app on SteamOS instead of installing Windows.

Well, this confirms that I'll be getting Sonic Colors on a non-Nintendo console. Oh well.

The Pokémon genre has gone stale. They need some competition. I'll be keeping my eyes on this one.

As long as the fps is locked at a stable 60fps with minimum pop in, I'll be getting this on the Switch.

Momodora, Eagle Island, and Juiced look pretty good.

@NoLife if the turn based worked something like quest 64, that would be really cool.

Only reason I'm interested in the game is for the motion control. Need more casual games to play with the family.

It's not big enough until I feel like I'm holding a monitor in my hands. And get the added bonus of slowly getting ripped from playing in handheld mode.

Being able to take notes without having to exit your game would be great.

Some good points were made in the comments. For multiplayer games, I generally don't care how well I do if the game is fun.

For single player games, if I hit a brick wall that lasts way too long, I'm likely moving on to the next game.

Started playing ultra street fighter 4 again recently. I think I went 1-50 since then. Still hasn't stopped me from having fun.

Too much noise. And I'm not sitting through 5 hours of video. Give me 30 - 60 seconds of each game (gameplay mostly), include a short text snippet describing what kind of game it is with a screenshot or two and I'd be very happy with that.

The special stages in Sonic 3 are significantly better than Sonic 2, but both are great games. This article may have convinced me to replay 2. Maybe after one more civ revolution match.... If I can finish it and still have some time left.
