I don't think I saw any mention of the difficulty in this review. From the demo, a lot of people had concerns about how easy it was. Does the game get harder as you get further in?

I'm a bit confused. Exactly where was the vulnerability? What got exploited? Was it Nintendo? Was it Facebook? Something unrelated?

This is such shady marketing. I bought Sonic & Sonic 2, because those were the glory days (and the spin / drop dash in the OG Sonic makes it much more tolerable).

Not sure yet, if I'm interested in the arcade game (never played it, so I have no nostalgia), but for a $5 sale, I'll definitely buy it and try it.

If they just need money, make a kickstarter and be done with it. Don't play games with people: "Buy our stuff and just maybe we'll think about you giving you something you want"

@Tasuki the original game was two players. The patch made it three players. The remake is one player.

The N64 console was rugged. The controllers could barely survive a couple rounds of Mario Party. And don't get me started on the controller paks.

@Shiiva As someone who only occasionally fires up my PS4. Playing through FF7R has me frequently mix up whether to use O or X to confirm / cancel.

It would be nice if all consoles were consistent, but nope, they have to mess with us somehow. I'm glad computer OS's don't do this. Imagine if a standard right click required clicking the left mouse button on Linux.

I really liked Harmoknight on 3DS. Going to eventually give Cadence of Hyrule a try when it goes on sale.

It's really not that hard. Players that disconnect should ALWAYS get a loss. The remaining player(s) should ALWAYS get the win. And frequent disconnects should result in a temporary ban from online play.

This is not hard. This is not even new.

Been holding off on Kirby forever. My son is itching to play it, so maybe I'll get it during this sale... Maybe.

My only complaint is that the game doesn't have same screen multi-player. If it did, I would have bought it a long time ago.

I bought Mario rabbids at launch for full price with no regrets. I also didn't have much of a backlog at the time. Now I do, so outside of 1st party games, most other games can wait for a sale. 1st party games take too long to go on sale for me to wait for those.

Sometimes some mindless comfort food is okay. I'm playing through Breath of fire right now, and that's exactly what that is.

@sixrings I like the idea of a dedicated site for each console. It mostly removes the console boy fan war nonsense. I follow NintendoLife, Pure xbox, and the Playstation blog. It's just more peaceful and comments tend to be more constructive in nature.

@TAndvig I vaguely recall reading something about that. Apparently, they listened to voices without ever seeing whose voice it was and ended up picking white people for black characters.

This news has me way too hyped. I hope I'm not disappointed. I will replay every single 3D mario game that gets released. All of them. Hopefully, Mario Galaxy has some adjustments as that one went a bit overboard with the motion controls. Mario Galaxy 2 is definitely the best of them all, followed by 64 (or maybe 3D world). Really would like 3D world, because my son is big into New super mario bros and mario odyssey, and I think we'd both really enjoy playing through 3D world.

This would be incredible news, but this is also Nintendo we're talking about. We're just as likely to see a NES Remix style "remaster" of all of the previous Mario games. I'd probably still buy it, but I wouldn't be half as satisfied.

But it is definitely game breaking for people that share a home console. Never has it been impossible to enjoy your own game without acquiring an entire new home console. It has only required new memory cards or new cartridges at worst.

@Krull I took a different approach with the game. I divided the 8 protagonists in two teams of 4. I completed chapters 1 - 4 for the 1st team, and then completely switched to the 2nd team and did their chapters 1 - 4.

My main question is:

Can I on my Switch, have a house on my friend's island (their Switch), and can we upgrade the island together?

@kepsux The only thing wrong with Brawl was the gameplay.

@Dringo I don't think Turok's price was too bad considering the amount of work put into it. At least it didn't get the Switch tax like so many other games did. It was released at the same price as it was on Steam / Xbox.

If I recall correctly, isn't Doom 64 included for free (for other consoles) with a purchase of Doom Eternal?

I'm intrigued and 3 years is plenty of time to add some more polish, world density, and improve the battle mechanics. Pokémon needs some competitors, or they'll just keep on lazily popping out sequels.

@CaptnDave Agreed, also curious on the amount of reading comprehension required as well.

I'm not sure how they can make the drawing not cumbersome on the Switch. With a controller, the controls would be clunky. In handheld mode, you don't really have the screen space to support always showing the map. So you'd have to go in and out of the menu to do any drawing.

@BenAV Have the map fill itself in, but enable BOTW style markers to identify points of interest. That's my best guess anyway.

@SBandy Exactly what do you want us to do on this Video Game website? Not talk about video games?
