@koaeinferno Reporting on a sale isn’t promoting a game. Where the heck are all you entitled people coming from? I thought it was bad here when I joined, left for years only to come back and see it’s gotten worse on a daily basis.
@koaeinferno Super Mario Party is OK, but I think people should wait for Mario Party Superstars instead.
@koaeinferno It's not the N64 Mario Parties but it's MOST CERTAINLY not MP9 or 10.
@koaeinferno Lol, let's just not mention one of the fastest and best selling party games ever and one of the biggest Nintendo games ever because someone here doesn't like it. Guess what, most people do like it, otherwise it wouldn't sell so well.
That aside, this is just a list of the most relevant discounted games and SMP just happens to be most relevant one by a long shot, it'y not promoting.
Picked up Mario + Rabbids after a lot of hesitation. It's surprising me how enjoyable it is!
I've wanted Hyrule Warriors Definitive for awhile now, and with the cartridges all falling to scalpers this sale is too tempting.
Got excited when I saw Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition listed since I hoped that meant Age of Calamity was eligible for a discount too. Wishful thinking on my part. I guess it's still too new.
Super Mario Party is decent, just incomplete... Some of the boards are very uninspired and there simply needs to be more of them.
Still worth it if you know people who are into it, especially at the sale price, but still disappointing.
Civilization is here on sale and that's single player, c'mon Nintendo!
It's Nintendo, the sales aren't that amazing.
@faint Yep the bedwetter count has gone through the roof in here these days...
@huntbearpig same! Quite a few graphics issues but they appeared to have fixed themselves as I progressed. Didn't know it was such a good game, looking forward to the sequel next year now.
@huntbearpig
It's really fun and surprisingly difficult! The only downside insofar that I've noticed is that the game won't let you save after certain battles (it weirdly views a handful of battles as part of a 'chapter', and if you don't complete said chapter, all your progress, including past victories is lost for no reason outside of the game forcing you to play for an extended amount of time. This is fine but a lot of battles can take some trial and error. Hopefully this pointless level of punishment is taken away from the sequel.
Got splatoon 2 dlc
Great deals on first party Nintendo games 🙄
Nice deal on Divinity: Original Sin 2. Highly recommended to anyone who's into really meaty old-school RPGs. The Switch version isn't as pretty as PS4/XBox, but still quite nice.
@Would_you_kindly you won’t find the deals any bigger anywhere else though. Never have they the discounts been larger than 30-35%.
Also, Super Mario Party is pretty decent. Had a lot of fun playing the game with my wife, my niece and nephew while they came over. Was a very nice weekend and 50 euros well spent.
@Friendly that's the downside of Nintendo they never do a decent sale on their own games
@huntbearpig Been hesitating about it every time it goes on sale too, but it still hasn´t convinced me to buy it. I have a couple more days left
@Would_you_kindly you could consider that a downside, yes.
On the other hand, you can buy a game physically and easily resell it after you’ve finished it. Because they retain their value.
Burnout Paradise is 8.99€ currently in Europe.
It's worth pointing out that the Splatoon 2 DLC is also on sale for anyone who hasn't picked it up. I just did
They need to make a sequel to Lego City Undercover.
Boooo, no ARMS! Trading that game in was one of the biggest mistakes of my life! And no Ultra SF2: The Final Challengers? It's almost as if all games on my wishlist never go on sale...
Hyrule Warriors is mine.
Knights and Bikes is on sale as well, my bro are going to pick that up and play it together because it is supposed to be an excellent co-op adventure.
Sick, after loving age of calamity I've had my eye on hw definitive, I'll definitely grab it for 40
Picked up Splatoon 2 digital, so me and my son can play together. (Already have one physical copy)
There's a LOT of good options there. But most of what I would want, I have. lol
@MrJellySandwich I've noticed that too. I've been utilizing sleep mode far more than I normally do. You are right about the difficulty! I haven't really played a lot of RTS games, but I'll find myself getting swarmed at times.
@Controller-Drift I definitely recommend! I mainly got it as something to play on weeknights when I can't have long sessions, but I'm having trouble putting it down. Gameranx before you buy does a good job of highlighting the pros/cons.
@Absol I'll definitely be picking up the sequel, though I'll probably wait for a sale on it to lol
I haven't run into many graphical issues besides some poor draw distances on some of the assets, but the colors and overall atmosphere of the levels are great! Can we just have Mario without the rabbids though? 🐇 🐰 😐
Where's the Splatoon 1 discount! Title lied to me! 😞
@huntbearpig It does pose quite a challenge sometimes, despite being a once avid RTS and turn based strategy fan, I’ve had my butt kicked several times and begrudgingly used the extra health option on a boss fight after several defeats. Nonetheless, there’s so much to enjoy here given the intricate themed worlds with little comedic and dark secrets scattered throughout, endless collectibles, and weapons galore. Only downsides are the cursor is a little clunky during movement and puzzles (might just be my joy con drift though), you’re stuck with Mario as your main character throughout the whole game, and the aforementioned annoying save mechanic. Otherwise its an overlooked gem, just fix the save options next time! I promise I won’t do any of that “save scumming” the kids are into these days.
Take splatoon 2 to $20 (ffs, it’s not even supported any more), also hyrule warriors, and I’ll be interested
Plants vs. Zombies is a game I 100% reccomend
Did the same as others on here and picked up the Splatoon DLC , as well as Stardew Valley, seems that game rarely goes on sale. Hopefully Nintendo will host a Summer sale with some juicier discounts before it’s Fall time…
Ah, forgot i had bought the splatoon dlc in the last sale, after waiting for it for years.. maybe something to play on holiday then..
Don't sleep on Boomerang Fu. Such a simple delight that is well worth the $6 or so.
I wasn't trolling. Super Mario Party is an awful game not even worth close to full price. Maybe get off your high horses and accept a different opinion instead of deleting comments you don't agree on.
