Will get Wheel of Fortune. Looks like good fun but didn't want to pay full price.
I feel like an Ubisoft sale just finished 😂. Remind me never to buy an Ubi game at release price ☝️
Trials Rising is excellent.
I can highly recommend Assassin’s Creed the Rebel Collwction.
I’ve just now stayed up two hours after work playing Black Flag.
@RobotReptile I learned that the hard way with Mario + Rabbids and South Park
@bluemage1989 : I'd recommend grabbing Jeopardy and Trivial Pursuit Live if you haven't already. I have them all, but Wheel of Fortune doesn't hold up quite as well due to the slower-paced nature of the game, while Trivial Pursuit Live and Jeopardy ended up being played a whole lot more due to the relatively high quantity of questions per game (and more fun generally).
You can't go wrong though, and the optional motion controls in Wheel of Fortune is also a nice touch.
I've never been particularly interested in TV game show games until the release of the Switch, and I hope we see more of them in the near future. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is long overdue. Hell, I would even buy garbage like Deal or No Deal.
I bought Mario rabbids at launch for full price with no regrets. I also didn't have much of a backlog at the time. Now I do, so outside of 1st party games, most other games can wait for a sale. 1st party games take too long to go on sale for me to wait for those.
@sketchturner "trials is excellent". Yes. Yes it is.
Oh good, I can get the other Star link stuff for cheap now.
I got the starlink bundle last holiday season for cheap but all it has is starfox, can someone tell me which dlc bundle to buy, 1 or 2? I've read the description for both and i have no idea which one is best. Also I still havent played the game so i dont know much about it
This isn't major, this is just the every week Ubisoft sale.
Mario + Rabbids: Gold Ed & Rayman are def worth it!
AC: Rebel is currently 50% off physical
Trials is good, it would be excellent without all its micro-transactions.
At that price I will grab AC rebel collection 👍
Double dipping assassins creed and stick of truth
@Moonlessky If you got the deluxe edition, you need to buy the star fox team in one bundle, and then the collection 2 as another bundle if you want everything else the game has.
Those two came out to almost $30 for me. So the Star Fox team was probably around $6
So in all I spent... what, $54 on this game to get all the content? Considering how meaty the game is, I feel that is a pretty fair price. Much better than the $100+ or so that they want you to spend normally.
Tl;dr
Deluxe edition gives you collection 1 and starfox from his team.
You need the star fox team bundle and collection 2 to own the rest of the content.
Ubisoft is hosting a sale almost monthly...I can't remember when their games are not for sale with huge discount
Some great games in there. My picks would be Mario+rabbids, Rayman, child of light, AC(just for black flag), south park.
Own most of them but may grab AC.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle - $14.99 (75%) / £7.49 (75%), Season Pass - $9.99 (50%) / £7.99 (50%), Donkey Kong Adventure - $7.49 (50%) / £5.99 (50%)
Mario + Rabbids Gold - $19.99 (75%) / £14.99 (70%)
Does the Gold contain both Season Pass and DK Adventure?
Absolutely want to grab the Rebel pack, but man. Playing so much Animal Crossing. I've barely touched another game, or even wanted to touch another game. Spelunky for daily runs is about it.
I bought Rabbids on the eshop for £7.5 and then ebayed my physical game for £20. BOOM!
Got Rayman, loving it 😁
Monopoly is still too expensive.
I'm confused this is a new separate sale to the one going on? As these all went on sale with the rest of the games in the big sale at these prices. So they have been those prices for the past week.
I wish they'd discount the Starfox characters for starlink
@sketchturner very addictive ive put 632+ hours into it
B-but muh Switch tax...
Somehow I dismissed all the Ubisoft discounts last week, assuming they expired on the 19th as well. Not sure if my budget for the second April fortnight will have room for any of them either, but this post is a useful heads-up nonetheless.
These games go on sale frequently, but I just beat a couple games off my list so my backlog, and suddenly have a hole to fill.
I went with Mario & Rabbids over Rayman Legends, but I'm more than certain I'll be able to get Rayman for under $10 again when I need it.
Is Child of Light any good? I’m always curious and tempted to get that game.
Good time to finish my Starlink collection, then!
@majinx07 I thought that Child of Light was amazing! The gameplay was relaxing without being shallow and the art was gorgeous. For this price, it’s totally worth it!
Which southpark is recommended ?
@charlieonholiday that was the one I was looking at. Are you mainly playing docked or handheld? Never really played any assassins creed game but I hear black flag is one of the best.
@PuppyToucher I’ve got a Switch lite so I only play handheld.
I’m also a newbie to assassins creed and rebel collection is my first game.
It takes a while to get used to the controls. It’s not intuitive like Mario odyssey but after a few hours you get the hang of it. It’s blood thirsty as hell and the pirate ship sections are great fun especially if you overpower your own ship when outfitting it during the game.
@AJ1 if you are a big fan, play in order SOT and then FBH (which is what I highly recommend). I wouldn't play FBH and then go back to SOT, if you are planning on playing just one, I'd pick FBH for all its advancements over the first entry. Hope that helps a little! Bottom line, both are fantastic for a fan of SP!
@Deanster101 glad you like it. I have played and had a real good time with it. The music stages are a blast to. Oooh black betty level my fave.
@HXLXIII Thanks, that helped alot.
