@Spoony_Tech I finished the main game and did a good amount of the extra content and I must say it is a very well made game and I liked it but I didn't love it the way some people seem to. I have no desire to ever go back to it, unlike for example the way I do with a Mario game
@Dragonslacker1 2014 - 2019, that’s 5 years and no output (except tropical freeze switch version), I would love to know what they were up to in that time and how did they pay the bills!
@Dragonslacker1 Yes, that’s exactly how I feel about Odyssey too, It had the potential to be great but for the reasons you mentioned it didn’t quite make it and Galaxy 2 takes the crown
@wizzgamer Yeah, i get that, i understand the article and the quote, I was talking about the Nintendolife headline that made me click on the article that drew me in originally
@Gwynbleidd Wrong Seiko make very high end and expensive watches for the Japanese market, people often think of Seiko as entry/mid tier but they are really not, they cater to all markets
As much as it would be great to have it on Switch, it would mean the Wii U would be becoming more redundant and that makes me sad that there are few unique games left on the old failure of a system that I still love
The only thing I like about the original Star Wars are the characters, I always found the movies themselves quite dull and couldn't even tell you what they are even about, haven't even bothered with the new ones
When I finally sold all my games in Loot magazine in the UK I had 15 games (Sold the system with 15 games, and action replay cart for £150 in about 1996) Here is what i had when I sold it, I was a big import collector :
Ganbare Goemon 2 (JP)
Legend of the Mystical Ninja (US)
Mario paint (UK)
Parodius (JP)
Ranma half Part 2 (JP)
Secret of Mana (US)
Star Fox (JP)
Street Fighter II Turbo (UK)
Stunt Race FX (US)
Super Mario All Stars (JP) (Paid £80 for this new!)
Super Mario Kart (UK)
Super Mario World (UK)
Super Metroid (US)
Super Punch Out (US)
Zombies (UK)
(Also remember having Hebereke's Popoon (UK) and SFII (US) at some point)
For those who don't know the art on the Japanese box is by Miyamoto, at least the initial sketch, the colouring I think was done by a different artitst
@PorllM Oh yeah, I like the Gamecube ones more actually but I still thought the Wii one was good and the motion controls well implemented, the mini games were a lot better on the GC one also
@mrmememan Nooooooo, well I also liked the Wii balance board monkey ball game also so I guess I am the only one on that list too
I have all the N64 games I want - Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask, Wave Race, 1080, Pokemon Snap, Mario Kart 64, Yoshi's Story, Star Fox 64, F-Zero, SSB 64, Paper Mario - all downloaded on to my Wii VC.
I play them with a Gamecube wavebird controller with component cables at 480P and I have no desire to ever go back to a real N64 with its 240P output even with the best scaler out there, it just looks too lo-fi these days
Controls worked fine on the Wii, don't know what people's problem were with them, ok so the game was not as good as the GC versions but at least it changed things up
Bored of match 3 games, this isn't Dr Mario - Dr Mario is match 4, there's too many match 3 games out there, tired of them after Candy Crush and Pokemon Shuffle

The thing is the Japan version has wrap around artwork which isn’t shown here so it’s hard to judge the full package

Re: Random: The Real Reason N64 Lost To PlayStation? Depressing Games And Lonely Players, Apparently
What a confusing headline, anyone reading that will think he’s talking about the N64 being depressing when that’s the exact opposite of what he said
