Last month, Nintendo announced Dr. Mario World would be released on both Android and iOS devices, on 10th July. Part of this reveal was a four-minute trailer introducing us to this unique mobile-take on the long-running action puzzle series.
As we get closer to next week's worldwide launch, Nintendo has decided to share some more information. This time the focus is on the game's multiplayer component. You'll be able to connect with friends on Facebook or LINE to view their progress and verse them in online real-time matches. Get complete rundown in the trailer above, which also features the Koopalings.

facebook...WHY
Geez that look boooooring
Dr. Toadette, Dr. Wendy and Dr. Ludwig... Awesome, I hope that there's many more doctors: Dr. Bowser Jr., Dr. Pauline, Dr. Kamek, Dr. Daisy...
It’s not going to be available in my country’s app store and google store, like the rest of the Nintendo apps (except Mario Run)
It’s pretty disappointing 😕
two words:
docter waluigi
@RedderRugfish it does support the nintendo online app, but not on the same device the game is being played on. You have you use a second phone.
Why isn't this on Switch?
will give it a try
@CadenceOfKanto - ever tried apkpure?
@YANDMAN because it's a game made for phones.
@PBandSmelly ok, so it wasn’t just me lol. I was freaking out that there was a major issue with the app!
Dr. Mario isn't a match 3 game, for that reason i'm out
@ChompyMage aside from that fact?
@SmileMan64 What about Dr. Wario? He had his own reskin game in WarioWare Inc.: Mega Micro Games!
Waiting for Dr. Metal Baby Mario.
I will try because I love Dr Mario. I would prefer a Switch version.
This sounds awesome.
Now all it needs is any block-falling puzzle game mechanic other than the incredibly dull DrMario!!
@MightyNimrod I have an iphone
@YANDMAN therefore it's not suited or needed for a Switch release.
A separate Dr. Mario game made specifically for Switch would be great though.
@CadenceOfKanto
Didn't see that one coming!
@CadenceOfKanto https://www.brianmadden.com/opinion/Did-you-know-how-easy-it-is-to-sideload-iOS-apps-to-your-iPhone Using the first method and an app that you're certain should be around for a while, you should be good to go on installing Dr. Mario.
Haven't done it myself because I don't have iOS, but it sounds easy enough.
@ChompyMage That's essentially what i meant.
