I'm opinionated, and that's ok.

Re: Video: Rare Footage Of Sega's Epcot Innoventions Installation Appears Online

@TurboTEF Haha! That is ironic with the role reversals!

I developed my mentality from Sonic the Hedgehog. My friend (at the time) had a Sega Genesis whilst I had Super Nintendo. He never had many games for it, but the few he did have were on the Super Nintendo as well(Street Fighter, Battletoads & Double Dragon). One day, he invites me over to play Sonic the Hedgehog... And I hated it! I couldn't stand the game! I hated Sonic before it was cool... A few years on, everyone kept saying how great Sonic was, and even now, many people say how Sonic is one of if not the greatest game on the Genesis.

So I got the mentality that if Sonic is the best Sega game, then the other games on the Genesis must not be that great...

I know that sounds arrogant, and closed minded, but that's how I grew up... And Sonic games getting high regards on the other Sega consoles doesn't help any...

Still a Nintendo exclusive gamer to this day. No regrets.

Re: Surprise, Nintendo Isn't Hosting An E3 Press Conference This Year

Neon_Blues

@Seioni it's more personal really, but I think E3 is stupid.

I hate the extravagant theatrics of whenever developers walk on stage. Lights flashing everywhere, music playing, the big auditorium. And all it does is just lead up to someone who'll show us just a short minute video of a game they're working on.

I don't hate the videos themselves, as Nintendo actually shows off gameplay, but the lead up and hype isn't necessary.

I also hate how the demos of games are kept exclusively to the show floor. If Nintendo (as well as anyone else) went through the trouble of creating a playable demo, then why not release it the public?

I also don't understand why people spend so much money to go to this event. They spend hundreds of dollars for what? To see a developer for a few minutes, and play a couple of demos? It baffles me.

Developers should just spend all that money, time, and effort, in finishing up their games.

Maybe it's because I only care about Nintendo, and don't care about the others at all, but this is just how I see it. Waste of time and money for everyone.

Re: Tetris World Record Holder Talks About His Experiences with the Game

Neon_Blues

Why is he complaining about the pieces being random?

Aren't all the Tetris pieces random in all versions? Is there a way to control the pieces you get or something?

It's like the dice in Mario Party. Everyone says the dice in Mario Party is based on time. If that's true, then how come these people never roll the number they want?

Back on topic, I was obsessed with the DS Tetris game, and my mom even more so. She almost maxed out the score counter!

Re: The Xbox One Might Be Getting A NES Emulator

@Spike6958 I wasn't saying they should buy multiple consoles, but I'm saying if these people are so starved for Nintendo games, that they're willing to create emulators on the other consoles, then they should have bought a Wii U.

Point taken on the other stuff though.
