A little later than normal on our part - apologies for that - we have the Media Create chart results out of Japan. There's not a huge amount of movement this time around, with new releases outside of Nintendo hardware having a rather limited impact.
Starting with the software top 20, For Honor makes its debut on PS4 with a rather modest launch total. Leading for 3DS in third place are Pokémon Sun and Moon, which continue to merrily shift copies despite sales above three million in Japan alone. Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 Professional is one place down in fourth, though its momentum is tailing off relatively quickly.
The top 20 is below with lifetime sales in brackets.
- [PS4] For Honor (Ubisoft, 02/16/17) – 40,062 (New)
- [PS4] Nioh (Koei Tecmo, 02/09/17) – 25,776 (101,253)
- [3DS] Pokemon Sun / Pokemon Moon (Nintendo, 11/18/16) – 14,610 (3,163,538)

- [Wii U] Minecraft: Wii U Edition (Nintendo, 06/23/16) – 2,807 (291,684)
In terms of hardware there's relatively little movement, with sales down for most systems. New releases on Sony hardware minimise their dips, while the New 3DS LL (XL) is still comfortably second. Results are below with last week's sales in brackets.
- PlayStation 4 – 21,204 (22,282)
- New 3DS LL – 16,426 (19,126)
- PlayStation Vita – 8,284 (8,479)
- PlayStation 4 Pro – 5,999 (6,693)
- 2DS – 4,665 (5,226)
- New 3DS – 1,203 (1,435)
- PlayStation 3 – 500 (473)
- Wii U – 491 (543)
- Xbox One – 76 (112)
Relatively uneventful results, all told. The figures in two weeks, of course, will reflect the launch of Nintendo Switch and also The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on both that system and Wii U. Some interesting results still to come.

Hyped to see the Switch in the results. Please do well!
The 2006 PS3 does better than the 2012 Wii U; go figure.
Can't wait for this in two weeks
Wow, Pokemon Sun / Moon still sold well.
Ehem... may I confess something ?
Several days ago, I checked playasia.com to dare myself checking PS4 games with rated majorly E - E10+, few Teen. Incidentally, I found FF XII The Zodiac Age listed on Pre Order list. My reaction was OMG... Suddenly I ate some of my words about PS4 ( But I still said PS4 have very few genre with interesting titles). After quick searching, I found so far only "6" titles that Okay for me. Wanna know ?
1. World of Final Fantasy, E10+
2. Earthlock: The Festival of Magic, E10+
3. Overcooked, E
4. Ratchet & Clank (PS4), E10+ (Still in deliberation)
5. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 HD Remix, E10+
6. FF XII The Zodiac Age, Teen
Note, there were list that I will buy later. I don't have PS4 games and machine right now, but I am planning to buy next year because I still focus on Nintendo Switch during this year. Probably, my PS4 will have very few selected games (Same like my Wii U) , so i'll add Blu Ray movies to maximize PS4 potential.
Well... I felt embarrassed with my last attitude about PS4. So, what do you think guys ? I still have some good taste of PS4 games, right ?
Sorry for my last attitude.
Sony bots are invading the forum
@Anti-Matter I'd say no.
But I always say don't buy non Nintendo consoles...
The PS4 doesn't seem worth it for such a short list of games.
And if you want to watch Blu-rays, then just buy a Blue-ray player.
PS3. Wow it's still selling
The Wii U is essentially a dead console at this point and it's still outselling the XBox One...
Still working on Nioh and Ubisoft lost a sale with me on For Honor with the internet requirement.
