@theModestMouse Nintendo is in a tricky situation. If they release the Switch 2 early and it does not meet expectations (or if they drastically change it to be less convenient than the Switch) then audiences will say the Switch was a fluke and leave Nintendo.
However, if Nintendo does not announce a system soon with specs or model designs for the audiences, then people will start losing interest.
They need to make their next move carefully but not so far off from the future.
@nuff64 Good to know it offers a challenge. I have been appreciating a lot of 2D shooters/run-guns lately. Too bad they have not rereleased Gunstar Heroes Advanced.
@beartown A lot of the Pokemon are still based off actual animals. Sometimes I run across an actual animal online or in a book and I am like, "Wait a minute! Is such and such Pokemon based off this real animal?" An example would be Bellibolt and the Cuyaba Dwarf Frog. It's cool that kids can relate to the real world creatures with this franchise.
@thesilverbrick That is a shame. I really wanted Donnie and Raph to make that a deal for me. Or all the Turtles in a different style from each animated series (87, 2003, 2012, and Rise).
I hate each time we get news on this game due to the final statement always saying along the lines of, "A Japan exclusive." WE LOVE GIANT ROBOTS TOO!!!!
@gaga64 They were decent to good. They don't rival the Classic Collection though. However, in a time of 4 player possibilities, they play better as single or two players. Pretty weird. For example, the Battle Nexus game was supposed to be the first time we can play as four players, but the game was designed to be a 3D version of the NES TMNT game and played better for single player. That being said, I say they are still worth having in one collection.
@Snatcher I agree. Comparing it to Smash is not fair. Smash has had time to develop since the late 90's. Also, it has been dutifully developed by the ever committed Sakurai. Smash is just a polished project that keeps on getting polished. I love the idea of WB characters having their own Smash though. Truthfully, I would like a DC heroes game in the same vein as Capcom's X-Men and Marvel fighters.
@BlueGBAMicro Maybe Power Rangers can prove that by putting the Turtles and Shredder in the fighting game. (Also making a compilation of their 16 bit games would be appreciated as well.)
This game looks very interesting. However, I looked on YouTube at the villains and they look like kids. What is the story behind that? I thought Castlevania like games are about monsters.
@roy130390 I would like a secret double boss battle of 2003 Shredder and Karai. Krang Subprime would be nice as well since they all crossed with the 80's turtles at one point.
@RubyCarbuncle I played the console versions as well. I agree. The third one had potential but lacked the fluid movement of the first. Why did they start the trilogy with two players when all the systems can do four?
@RubyCarbuncle Battle Nexus on the handheld has a lot of sneaking elements mixed with platforming. Mutant Nightmare is like the first one but the partner indication has no "Off feature" and can get annoying. They are all fine but the first one has a better flow.
@Anti-Matter Star Wars was never my cup of tea either. However, the LEGO Star Games and the Genndy Tartakovsky Star War shorts got me into the franchise a bit. Also, Rogue One was pretty cool.
@Erigen I am not familiar with this game. I only know that this port was not the best. However, I am impressed by the developers trying again. As you said, usually developers call it a "loss" and leave. I am impressed by these guys.
@KayFiOS There we go!! I love the optimisim. I am hoping for a Metal Gear Collection, Batman Animated Series, Tiny Tunes, Animaniacs, Sparkster collection as well. Who knows? They might deliver.
This collection is equal to or above other great collections with multiple content. (Sonic Mega Collection Plus, Mega Man Collection, Castelvania Collection, etc).
@russell-marlow The details make them good (even if they are blocky). Also, being able to move around a huge city is awesome. LEGO games are becoming more on point with the source material than most other games.
However, the double edge sword is that most of the LEGO games start feeling similar.
@blindsquarel Definitely the best due to details (as with almost all LEGO comic games). However, Batman Vengeance and the Arkham games are excellent as well.
@Joeynator3000 I feel that Chrono Trigger is the big one that will definitely come out. I mean, it seems to be suspiciously out of mention from square for a few years now.
@Snatcher Raditz would have been good to round things off. I wonder how they make this game different if they are going for a sequel. I mean, the DLC themselves were pretty much what a sequel would have done (like the Street Fighter II games, those were all technically DLC for the original Street Fighter II).

Re: The Jurassic Park Games Are Getting A 30th Anniversary Retro Collection
@Slowdive That is the problem with this collection. It is just decent. Where are my X-Men Fighting games collection from Capcom?

Just shows how well these games were made in gameplay, style, and music.
Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Cowabunga Collection Switch Update Arrives Today
Turtle power!
Re: Random: Smash Bros. Melee HD Unlikely To Happen, According To Former Nintendo Employees
@Vil I agree. How about a game where they have partners like Paper Mario? Or Mario and Luigi vs. Wario and WaLuigi? So many possibilities!
Re: Acclaimed TMNT Graphic Novel 'The Last Ronin' Is Getting A Video Game
Wow. Out of left field. But I am interested. What I really want are the turtles in the Power Rangers fighting game.
Re: New Mario Bros. Movie Footage Shows Off Seth Rogan As Donkey Kong
Interesting DK follows some kind of monoarchy. I though he was his own dude.

Re: Poll: What Do You Think Of Mario's Movie Voice?
I don't know. Chris Pratt's Mario sounded like Bob Hoskins to me.

Re: Video: Shovel Knight Dig Switch Gameplay Footage, Direct From PAX West 2022
Looks cool. However, if I was Shovel Knight, I would peace out. Digging all the way down with no way of getting back up is a fear of mine.
Re: Soapbox: Forget Marvel, The Perfect Capcom Crossover Is Simpler Than You Think
@Smashmatt202 That is what I want. If they can keep a nice sprite look to it then even better.
Re: Dead Cells' 'Enter The Panchaku' Free Update Gets Slight Delay On Switch
@SteamEngenius The way Hades is hand drawn makes it hard to get a lot of dlc.

@rex_rex No war. You are right on the money.
Re: Marvel's Midnight Suns Delayed (Again), Switch Version To Arrive At A "Later Date"
@anoyonmus I think people want to stay away from cloud games. I am still salty for Kingdom Hearts.
Re: Marvel's Midnight Suns Delayed (Again), Switch Version To Arrive At A "Later Date"
@steventonysmith True. I applaud them for not just dropping the Switch version all together.

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge Probably Won't Get Any DLC
@evanac The only dlc I hope for is Usagi Yojimbo. Other than that, this game looks super polished.
Re: Fei Long Will Never Appear In Street Fighter Again, Says SFV Composer
@NintendoJunkie Ditto. I saw him as a respectable equal to Ryu, especially in that Street Fighter II Animated movie.
