Re: Nintendo Switch Crowned Best-Selling Console In US For Fifth Year In A Row

MysteryCupofJoe

@theModestMouse Nintendo is in a tricky situation. If they release the Switch 2 early and it does not meet expectations (or if they drastically change it to be less convenient than the Switch) then audiences will say the Switch was a fluke and leave Nintendo.

However, if Nintendo does not announce a system soon with specs or model designs for the audiences, then people will start losing interest.

They need to make their next move carefully but not so far off from the future.

Re: It's Official, There Are Now More Than 1,000 Pokémon

MysteryCupofJoe

@beartown A lot of the Pokemon are still based off actual animals. Sometimes I run across an actual animal online or in a book and I am like, "Wait a minute! Is such and such Pokemon based off this real animal?" An example would be Bellibolt and the Cuyaba Dwarf Frog.
It's cool that kids can relate to the real world creatures with this franchise.

Re: TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection Has Potential For A 2000s Sequel, Says Konami Producer

@gaga64 They were decent to good. They don't rival the Classic Collection though. However, in a time of 4 player possibilities, they play better as single or two players. Pretty weird. For example, the Battle Nexus game was supposed to be the first time we can play as four players, but the game was designed to be a 3D version of the NES TMNT game and played better for single player.
That being said, I say they are still worth having in one collection.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Smash Bros. Ultimate VS MultiVersus Comparison

MysteryCupofJoe

@Snatcher I agree. Comparing it to Smash is not fair. Smash has had time to develop since the late 90's. Also, it has been dutifully developed by the ever committed Sakurai. Smash is just a polished project that keeps on getting polished. I love the idea of WB characters having their own Smash though. Truthfully, I would like a DC heroes game in the same vein as Capcom's X-Men and Marvel fighters.

Re: Poll: What's The Best Batman Game On Nintendo Systems?

MysteryCupofJoe

@russell-marlow The details make them good (even if they are blocky). Also, being able to move around a huge city is awesome. LEGO games are becoming more on point with the source material than most other games.

However, the double edge sword is that most of the LEGO games start feeling similar.

Re: Bandai Namco Comments On The Future Of Dragon Ball FighterZ

MysteryCupofJoe

@Snatcher Raditz would have been good to round things off. I wonder how they make this game different if they are going for a sequel. I mean, the DLC themselves were pretty much what a sequel would have done (like the Street Fighter II games, those were all technically DLC for the original Street Fighter II).
