@FantasiaWHT I tired of Dicey Dungeons after about 10 hours and went straight back to StS. About 250 hours across Switch and ipad and still going strong. Best game ever!
@jump can be, but nothing's proven to be better for me than going for a run to clear my head. But that's why I run trails - far more demanding than roads as you need to pay attention to where your feet are landing!
@Rika_Yoshitake I hate to say it but you kinda get used to it. I enjoyed the game by the end, and certainly don't have the same issues many did with a certain character. Still, Dicey Dungeons was the perfect game to jump into afterwards and the bright colourful nature of Immortals has me very tempted to pick that up.
Beaten the first episode with four of the dice so far. It won't have the legs of Slay the Spire, so I'm playing a little at a time and having a good time.
Really interesting mechanics. My first win with the thief had me playing half the run as a bear - I'll say no more
Trying to finish TLOU2 so I can get it back to my sister's partner. If next gen is going to build on this sort of game I'm really not that interested. I play for fun not for ultra detailed gore and violence.
Have $40 credit on the US eshop so I’ll hold off spending that until I can compare EU vs US prices. Meanwhile I’ll try and complete DQ11; can’t be far now...
Contemplating picking up Spelunky 2 on PS4 while its on sale. Other than that, more Dragon Quest XI. Also started a new game of Skyrim and the latest Diablo 3 season.
Been a good month! Probably Hades (I've not played the others in the list), but I've cooled on it fairly quickly. Popped it on God mode so at least I'll stand a chance of seeing the story through.
Playing Hades (badly), and DQ11S. Now at the point in DQ where I stopped playing the PS4 version, mainly because I pretty much stopped playing on the PS4 full stop.
I was happy to pay for it on Switch as I got it free on Playstation through PS+ and had hundreds of hours of entertainment from both versions. That said, great news for the consumer and all the best to Psyonix...
Never spent a penny on microtransactions though so hope they’re not changed to be more invasive...
Hadn't realised that the digital version was limited too, so guess I may have to consider picking it up digitally soon rather than waiting until I'm ready to play it.
Dozens of games on sale that take my fancy, but let's be honest - I haven't got the time for them. Slay the Spire runs, dipping in and out of MUA3, and making progress in Xenoblade Chronicles. Lots of fun.

Re: Can You Name These Pokémon?
Did it for giggles; I’m so not a Pokemon person. The DS was my first Nintendo device at the age of 31. Fluked a 2.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Life eShop Selects - December 2020
@koekiemonster my Vita version has been sadly underplayed. Ought to start from scratch so I can get a refresher on the mechanics

Re: Talking Point: How Are You Keeping Fit And Active In 2021?
As 2020. Trail running and HIIT at home. Haven't been to the gym since March.
Currently injured though and it's making me miserable.

Re: Review: Grindstone - A Thrilling And Compelling Puzzle Adventure
A 9 from me. Best puzzler I've played in years, and being on Switch gives me a good reason not to bother with Apple Arcade.

Re: Crysis Remastered Update 1.6 Patch Notes - Switch Bug Fixes And A Docked Resolution Boost
Beat it a few weeks ago; never had a game crash on me so often.
Re: Try Your Luck In Roguelike Deck-Builder Dicey Dungeons, Rolling To Switch eShop Today
Awesome, been waiting for this! VVVVVV is one of my all time favourites and Super Hexagon is the perfect mobile time killer. Thanks Terry!

Re: Feature: Nintendo Life eShop Selects - November 2020
None of the above then. What about Star Renegades? Surprised to not see that on the list after the glowing review
Re: Random: The NSO Icon On The Switch Home Menu Is Driving Some Users Crazy
@3RedTriangles I definitely see 5 red triangles
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 28th)
Bought Crysis in the sale. Genuinely feel that FPS games are not for me so I've stuck it on easy ready to delete and forget about when it's done.
Finished DQ11S in the week (amazing game), so hoping to return to Octopath at some point this weekend...
Re: How Well Do You Know Zelda: Breath Of The Wild?
@Magonigal me too. Need to play the game again as punishment
BRING IT ON!
Re: Nintendo Announces Huge Cyber Deals Sale For Europe, Up To 75% Off Top Games
@Big_Fudge you missed it too?
Re: Nintendo Announces Huge Cyber Deals Sale For Europe, Up To 75% Off Top Games
@Krull you missed it. There was one a month or so back to celebrate its anniversary (on all platforms). Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

Re: Nintendo Goes Big With Cyber Deals Sale, Up To 50% Off Top Switch Games (North America)
Probably grabbing Crysis.
Re: All Abylight Studios Switch Games Are Now 50% Off For Black Friday
I'd be all over HLD if I hadn't picked up the ios version for 99p which I can play with my SN30pro controller. Super slick.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 7th)
Contemplating picking up Spelunky 2 on PS4 while its on sale. Other than that, more Dragon Quest XI. Also started a new game of Skyrim and the latest Diablo 3 season.
Re: Rune Factory 4 Online Trial Is Now Live Outside Of Japan
Hoping we get the 50% sale too
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 24th)
DQXI. So good it'll probably end up making my all time top ten by the end.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 17th)
More DQ11S. Can't get enough of it.
Re: Nintendo Download: 15th October (Europe)
@Gwynbleidd I was interested until I saw the state of the switch port. Check out SwitchCorner's 6/10 review on YouTube...
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 10th)
Dragon Quest XI (s*** just hit the fan) and The Long Dark (s*** just hit the fan and I've lost my bedroll) .
Never been a better time to play games.

Re: Review: The Long Dark - Just Like Real Life, Nature Is Your Enemy Here
Played a couple of survival runs and really struggled. But I'll learn and survive a little longer...
This game is going to eat up my time. I really like it.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel #61 - Okamiden
Definitely the colour of the Japanese version that gives it the edge.
Never played the game even though Okami is one of my all time favourites.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 26th)
Playing Hades (badly), and DQ11S. Now at the point in DQ where I stopped playing the PS4 version, mainly because I pretty much stopped playing on the PS4 full stop.
Re: Review: Hades - A Heavenly Trip Into Hell That's Utterly Essential For All Switch Owners
@geox30 and Slay the Spire. Don't forget that one 😉
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 19th)
I'm also feeling like restarting Galaxy on the WiiU
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 19th)
Hades. The Long Dark. Crosscode.
Can't wait to get stuck in.
Re: Nintendo Download: 17th September (Europe)
Anyone got any feedback on how well The Long Dark plays?
Re: Is Your Copy Of Super Mario 3D All-Stars Crashing? That's Because You've Got A Modded Switch
@Rayquaza2510 yup, fair enough. I’ll hold my hand up here - I didn’t consider the alternative uses for customer firmware.
Re: Is Your Copy Of Super Mario 3D All-Stars Crashing? That's Because You've Got A Modded Switch
@sj33 I’m always quick to jump on something like that. Glad it’s fixed for the legitimate owners
Re: Is Your Copy Of Super Mario 3D All-Stars Crashing? That's Because You've Got A Modded Switch
Filthy pirates. Serves them right!

DQXI, Slay the Spire and more NG+ in Children of Morta.
Also thinking of picking up Crosscode, heard nothing but good things and it sounds right up my street.
Re: Poll: How Do You Feel About 'Limited-Time' Games From Nintendo?
Hadn't realised that the digital version was limited too, so guess I may have to consider picking it up digitally soon rather than waiting until I'm ready to play it.
Bloody daft though.

Time for AI. Great saving on what was too high a starting price.
Re: Japanese Charts: Animal Crossing Returns To Number One And Smashes A New Switch Sales Record
they really don't do Xbox in Japan, do they!
Re: Review: Mr. Driller: DrillLand - As Much Fun As It Was 18 Years Ago, If Not More So
One of my favourite puzzlers; started on the Dreamcast. Had Drill Spirits, the DSI Ware version and the mobile version since.
No brainer really, surprised I haven't bought it already.
Re: Urban Trial Tricky Freestyles Exclusively Onto Switch Today
Joe Danger feels. Now that's a series that would work on Switch...
Re: Shiren The Wanderer: The Tower Of Fortune And The Dice Of Fate Scores Western Switch Release
I've literally just gone back to this on my Vita.
Re: Feature: Best Nintendo Switch Roguelikes, Roguelites And Run-Based Games
@Dm9982 nice shout out for Children of Morta. My number two game of 2019 after Slay the Spire 😁👍
In fact the only games here I'd put ahead of it are StS, Dead Cells and Isaac.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 20th)
Given up on MUA3. Felt like I'd been playing for hours, but looking at the Switch clock I haven't yet managed 10. A repetitive chore of a game imho.
So, since I bought Slay the Spire on ios, my Switch play has largely been dedicated to the odd bit of ACNH. Must get back to Xenoblade!
Re: Nintendo Download: 11th June (Europe)

Re: Feature: Game Of The Decade Staff Picks - Xenoblade Chronicles
Playing through XC on the Switch now makes me wonder what it is about XC2 that didn't work for me
