"Wow no comments yet... why not be the first?"
Don't mind if I do!
Why did Nintendo Life stop listing the sales. That was what I was looking most at.
@Agriculture we list the sales when they are provided by Nintendo in the press releases, so they will still appear. They only tend to do it when there are exciting discounts these days, which means there probably isn't anything very exciting this week.
I had no idea Postal was going to come to the Switch. I may get it, hope it plays well.
That moment when three out of five games you've voted for still show 0%.🤔
Curious about Ring of Pain, Crown Trick and HARDCORE MECHA but not sold on any yet so nothing for me at this stage. Better week for physical releases for me with my copies of Robotics;Notes Elite&Dash and Touhou Spell Bubble getting shipped out in the last couple of days.
Got Hunting Sim 2 (for the nature stuff, not for "claiming" animals though). But sadly the Unreal Engine downscale muddyness makes it a bit of a chore.
Swap to local region.
@BenAV I just watched a review for each of these games and Crown Trick was given a 9/10 and Ring of Pain an 8/10. Looks like a couple of gems from the reviews that are out so far.
@Agriculture Some pretty nice deals in the UK, so I guess they'll be somewhat similar across Europe. The Catquest games are on sale - the first one is particularly cheap. Ghostbusters is also on sale.
@Kiz3000 Sweet. I haven't looked into any reviews for either yet but they definitely both look promising from what I've seen of them.
Possibly Cloudpunk & Hardcore Mecha but need a review.
Edit: As someone else pointed out: Ring of Pain & Crown Trick has some big potential
I was waiting on Cloudpunk to come to switch but in the meantime I read that the moral choices have a really obvious answer and if you choose the wrong answer the game berates you. Anyone played it and can confirm?
Nothing for me, thankfully, but things will get a bit busier in the next few weeks, with Cadence of Hyrule's physical release dropping next week, followed by Pikmin 3 Deluxe (which I am still on the fence with) and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (don't h8 me ).
Hoping cloudpunk is a banger
@flipovic thanks for that im bookmarking this website for sure!
I was gonna buy Cloudpunk tonight but I’m skeptical. I watched a gameplay video. I didn’t know that the entire gameplay pretty much consists of fly car from A to B. Walk to get next package. Fly from A to B again. Rinse & Repeat. @DeclanS98
@CTmatic Shame Space Crew was the other one this week I was on the fence about
@Gwynbleidd I was interested until I saw the state of the switch port. Check out SwitchCorner's 6/10 review on YouTube...
No Doom Eternal? 🤣
I was considering Cloudpunk, until I read this post over on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/jbvgk5/you_should_avoid_cloudpunk_on_the_switch/
Haha Xeon Racer down to 1.97€, maybe worth it at that price?
So I couldn’t resist. I did buy Cloudpunk today. It’s on sale for $20, not a huge sale but I’ll take it. I really have a new game itch.
I’ll start it tonight and let you know what I think. I saw tons of negativity on this in the thread but I’m not a picky frame rate person, etc. Not sure about you. @DeclanS98
@CTmatic It's weird, I saw some really bad things about the game on switch. But there's been so many games that have been patched and fixed in post, it's probably worth a gamble on a sale?
I feel the same about Outer World's, I'll pick it up when cheap, and wait for the fix
Yeah. So anyway, it’s Friday...so didn’t feel like putting in a long work day at home. I started Cloudpunk. I put in an hour. So far it’s casual fun. The city looks super awesome. Is it the best graphics?, no. Is it broken?, no. If I end up sticking with it I’m going to preorder the physical edition coming out Nov.10th. If it doesn’t grow on me and I quit playing it, biting on the digital sale was better off. The physical is going for $35 vs $20 on eShop sale now. @DeclanS98
