BotW is a 10, and my second favourite game of all time. I’m only 15-20 hours in to TotK, but I think it’s probably even better. Yes it’s more of the same, but it’s so much more.
My 18 year old daughter sat down when I was playing the other night and said ‘do you mind if I watch?’ - of course I bloody don’t!

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow is my favourite book I’ve read so far this year. Made me cry too. The video-game side of things was a wonderful backdrop for a very human story about relationships.

Yeah. Second best game of all time as far as I’m concerned; started it again too. Also, May doesn’t feel like ‘soon’

I really don’t need another copy of Skyrim.

I’ve had P3P since its PSP launch and P4G on Vita via import before it launched in the UK. Then I naturally bought vanilla P5 on PS4 on launch.

Skyrim is one of my all time favourites so I’d definitely consider buying a Series S just to play this.

A Short Hike. That’s a short game. But it’s ruddy perfect.
Metroid Dread. Not a short game. My run is now approaching 20 hours (on the Switch clock not the game clock). It’s Pretty perfect too.

Dread. First game I’ve played for ages that’s really grabbed me and won’t let go. Even when I’ve been tempted to throw in the towel, generous checkpoints have made it easy to have just one more try… blue EMMI finally down this morning 👍

All with a side of Slay the Spire and Rocket League naturally.

I bet Graceful Explosion Machine looks fantastic.

I have nothing against cloud gaming; Stadia has been something of a revelation. However, Xcloud was a bit too laggy for me. No way I’m taking a chance at those prices with Nintendo - at least Stadia can be played on a monthly sub. Control was added this month.

It’ll be my first ever 2D Metroid. Very much looking forward to it!

Dual Strike is one of my all time favourites. Never played the original. This is on preorder.

I’ve actually just been playing some solo Towerfall on the Vita. I’m making next to no progress in single player stuff, and with Metroid and SMTV on the horizon I should really be cracking on.

No doubt I’ll end up playing more Slay the Spire and Rocket League instead 😂

I’m tempted with a few - Void Bastards, One Step from Eden, Wizard of Legend, and a Hat in Time.

Can only really justify one though. Can anyone comment on the quality of the Void Bastards DLC?

Film looks awful

Absence of Time Trial mode is a bit of a deal breaker in a racer for me.

Currently have 3 preorders in on Switch - Advance Wars, Metroid Dread, and SMTV. Super excited for all three, but if I could have one right now? It would be this.

Only played Rise I think so I guess it’s that by default.

I’m convinced those critical of Stadia haven’t tried the service. I’m currently playing Jedi fallen Order via Stadia and it looks and plays fantastic. Xcloud a huge disappointment by comparison

Played through 1-5; until Breath of the Wild & Slay the Spire, the original was my all time favourite game (still the perfect balance of systems in the series too). I think I can live without another Disgaea game until it’s heavily reduced based on the demo.

I also think there’s about a dozen games on my Switch right now that could happily sit in my top 20. We’ve never had it so good.

Let’s not forget that two models of next gen console don’t even have disc drives.

Given the unlikelihood of picking up a next gen (current gen?) console at the moment, and the state of many PS4 (base model) ports, I thought I’d give Stadia a go and picked up Cyberpunk for £10 off with it. I’ve been really impressed, and already amassed quite a few titles through their pro sub. Which I haven’t paid for yet as I’m on a trial...

In my all time top 5 but I’m not sure I need another version just yet. Vita version good enough for me - for now, naturally.

@sanderev yes, you’re right - but when scoring to two decimal places you’ve given yourself a 1000 point scale. It’s just a pet peeve of mine

what sort of score is 7.75 out of ten? Nonsense stuff. That’s not ‘out of ten’ in my mind, it’s essentially a score out of 1000! Keep it simple for goodness sake.

Might start with the bow. Generally avoided ranged weapons in monster hunter games, but time for a change...

Then again, the switch axe looks so good...

Switch version was my first experience of the game (I’m old, but late to Nintendo). Adored it. Perhaps not in my top 10 of all time, but it’s certainly pushing for the top 20.

Not then (had the Spectrum version), not now. When difficulty goes up, fun goes down.
