@Kilroy you're way too disrespectful to be believed and tell me not to comment when others have the same comment. Should be reported honestly. This thread derailed to you bashing me because you prefer details and assume this is a form of intelligence rather than understand those who disagree. And you're telling me to get off your internet's, embarrassing yourself to double down further.
@Kilroy keep playing innocent. This shouldn't even have a back and forth. Your mileage may vary on the review based on how much time you're committed to reading. The end. I'm done with this site.
@MarkMSX nothing about that "lot" said in the conclusion nor joys/cons section. Gun types, bullet system usually helps. Apparently "boss milking" to damage non vital areas for more points is apparently a hit or miss term. At least 3 other people @Kalmaro @Fath @niner also had problems with the review.
Review is 1800 words, people in comments gave more info stating too expensive or I don't even know anything after reading this; meaning it has to be reread (and literal TL:DR when my first comment is I could beat the game faster than reading the review). Is there even multiplayer? What's the story like?
@niner lol could probably beat the game in the time it takes to review. No idea what it has over Jamestown which 4 player is a blast (holdout whole the survivor revives is innovative), let alone historical fiction and gun diversity and vaunting to shield zones.
May quit the nintendolife site if they keep with the fluff reviews.
@MuhBael not just that but for graphic intensive games you don't want to go Nintendo. Otherwise you assume the risk with lower frame rates and graphic quality like bloodstained. No idea why they don't have a hard drive neither, but at least you don't have to leave on overnight for installation times and downloading Whoppers of games like marvel vs Capcom infinite (65 gigs), but then switch only has old games with switch online (I prefer downloading for free 3ds Mario maker levels) compared to ps now/Xbox game game pass.
Glad to go cross platform with rocket league. Everybody wins.
They'll never try to compete with Xbox game pass/ultimate and PS plus/now when Super Mario maker 2 can be $60 and need switch online solely to download levels, which is sad as the original 3ds version is still accessible and $20.
@Solid_Stannis sure great temple at the end at least had the courtesy to let you resume at the start of the temple over the end if you died. Mike is right and far more informative than this long winded article I ironically didn't have time to read.
It's ok to cheat in personal life though; the cover up is far worse. Especially if you get a slap on the wrist like Bill Belichick and the Patriots. But having a bad guy makes things more profitable as people will pay for the unlikely fantasy to see him lose, much like Floyd Mayweather (who doesn't cheat at boxing but is great at gaining heat as his WrestleMania showed).
Heck nobody minds when I say cheating in 5.4.3.2.1...some even think it's fun. Another story if it's academia where a third party can get ya. But then Felicity Huffman got lucky, dunno if Lori Loughlin will too. It's like that Naruto chunin exam, count your warnings and you'll find a window of tolerance.
@Heavyarms55 yeah I was praying to find something profound but as the odds showed, I was baffled by this Captain obvious article (they just posted untitled goose game sold 1 million copies). Ah well I'mma go play the millions of Indies and watch sales. While I wait for Dragonball z kakarot and Cris tales to be released.
Sometimes stuff even gets comics like crackdown, anthem or even Temple run. Earthworm Jim was the best $75 comic I ever bought too; book, cards, box art on the shipped box itself, poster and making of book. Indiegogo made over $800,000, and the books had gold and silver plated edges; no wonder they didn't do digital.
Hope it leads to a new earthworm Jim game but I could always buy the OG digitally though it was tough on Sega CD.
@fafonio yeah I just can't stand the steam version just straight up putting shovel knight on the cover and having to do this bs with no songs outta the gate, giving it the sans-X Megaman X7 treatment. Any amiibo should unlock everything too, it's sad. Good game, but terrible unlocking approach.
Jamestown+ is an easy favorite. Nice gameplay mechanic to only lose credits when everyone dies and respawn with revive powerful or after 10 seconds. Nice historical fiction story and gun variety in the shoot 'em up too.
@Pod brain age as well. This is for the whales who want a backup copy for the road. Transferring was a pain as nintendolife said. At least give themes lol the 3ds legacy lives on.
@BoyfriendOfDeath why bother? lol when companies get this dense for easy sales, I got indie routes to go to. At least capcom makes endless collections lol, Master Chief just got one too. Never thought I'd say that. Remember the old gba double pack games?
@Silly_G that's a good idea lol I mean Galarian weezing is a bong with a hat/moustache. Do admit it's fun being a fat pokemon like Gengar or Snorlax too. My favorite shirt lol
Didn't know it was on steam lol $2.39, ole switch tax. move over untitled goose game. Explains the despair for Sayanara Zetsubou Sensei Kuusou Rumba. Probably my last words if that damn thing killed me too https://youtu.be/p1ofmLHA330
@Quarth oh certainly. It's kinda like with Stan Lee in popularizing comics, though Nintendo comics and fzero falcon densetsu were great media outside games besides Pokemon. Collection of masterpieces though Sakurai made the ultimate crossover and new platform fighter genre with smash Bros. But yeah Shigeru lives up to the legendary Miyamoto name like Musashi.
Surprised they mention live-in partner but state it's not same sex marriage. Feels like a drop the ball tomodachi life thing to do if they're gonna mention it.
The retro style revert has been done before, so I get you. Let alone it's full price, though I see it around $40 on the switch which is pretty cheap for that system.
@DarkLloyd lol it was kinda like Brie Larson hosting Jimmy Kimmel with the breasts popping out and going into feminism. I think these terms are just used to get attention. All Ages Mai Shiranui (lol thought of Mai Valentine from yugioh for a sec) is like All Ages Resident Evil, just no. The fan looks nice I admit.
lol damn you switch lite. Surprised no wargroove though, as the custom maps/games make it ideal to get all your friends in on it regardless of where they platform.
@ToonStuff not just that, but onlive flopped as well. We got games in an unlimited packages these days. Save Nintendo who's usually behind on the curve yet is still innovative somehow. Software dumb but hardware genius I guess. Though I'm glad Nintendo has tons of digital sales these days; I just got jamestown, gekido and exorder for like $20+ tax. Just wish platinum points were useful for the switch, but I enjoy the 3ds themes.
At a low price, I don't really mind the whole licensing/digital stuff. I just have to own physical stuff at a certain price range, like when I pre-ordered Dragon ball z kakarot. No way I'm paying $50+ for digital.
I'm also not really into paying online for multiplayer or to merely get super Mario maker 2 levels (which at $20 I prefer the 3ds version though you can only share locally). That would've been a cool use to make like 500 platinum points per month for switch online.
@codyf nah lol Wolfenstein 3d didn't have height (shooting enemies above) nor platforming so Doom lol would be better to say. Character looks like Orko from he-man lol.
@Flowerlark lol old school DS had touch screen and microphone like smartphone and that was 2 gens back. What an epic fail for time to say switch was inspired by cell phones. I'd say it's an upgraded Wii with how joycons are motion sensitive and work far better than the wiimote.
@Razer lol that lame in da House bit got cheers. You got a point. He could sell damn near anything. Save the Wii u of course lol. And disco Elysium in the end. Cringeworthy. Game looks boring too.
@farmer_humpf how he gonna mention surgery without Trauma Center lol. And that was over 10 years ago. Do feel a bit Jade's with games but it is fun to be able to search sales every week or holiday. But yeah imma buy less unless it's cheap lol race to the bottom had Jade's give Pyre free on steam, undermining early buyers.
@Octane lol these names are so confusing. I dodged a bullet cancelling Xbox 360 4 gigs that can't even download one game. GameCube get longer is a fun meme I admit. But yeah they didn't name this well.
@masterLEON tension bullet system is classic. I did like castle 2 and 3 with the 2 player cutscenes, using 2 players on 1 wiimote was great. Did like Kohtaro and Gennojo, fun manga too. Time gal was my favorite cameo. Hope there are good characters here though the all girls diversion means I'll miss out on a lotta favorites.
@Sunsy that's fine. Mentioning new and old models helps a ton as it can be so confusing to someone uninitiated.
Also glad they mentioned labo not working with switch lite but no super Mario (holiday) party. That's not right, and it's one joycon per player, like party golf, which has so many modes and simultaneous play I think kids will like. New 2ds should've had some recommendations only on that system though.
Do feel bad for those that missed the black friday rush, though I did get Child of light and South park (good for the teenage ones) on sale. Child of light is even 2 player with the wisp highlighting so both can be immersed in the story.
@Kalmaro it's a double standard lol nobody minded Wuncler III/rummy in boondocks being voiced by Charlie Murphy and Samuel L Jackson. But it's easier to aplogize honestly when people get so offended over stuff that isn't even racist. This is why there is lazy pandering.
@Tharsman Wii U was a terrible idea. Huge box for a controller with a screen? Less stuff for non-gamers as opposed to wii fit/ring fit adventure and Labo was an affordable VR/arts and crafts.
You are right, but I felt brand loyalty was why so many flocked to more expensive Nintendo, which yeah commonly is called any type of game like coke for soda.
@westman98 yeah you got me; I changed my mind on the lite when everyone did better otherwise, including Nintendo. It can't even play brain age, which I am hyped for.
@westman98 people rewarded the lite for having almost no deals. I just couldn't believe it when its limitations were the same price as an a xbox one with a game, or PS4 with 3. I took the xbone naturally. Bramd loyalty I guess.
