Re: Review: Dragon Quest II: Luminaries Of The Legendary Line - The 'Difficult Second Album' Of Enix's Classic Series

@River3636 Memories are beautiful lol I think of the Memorist job in final fantasy dimensions, to get powered up by visiting cutscene locations. Easy fave though i know it had flaws (had to play as everyone and it jumped around during cliffhangers).

That's all I ask to inform people you value something even if it didn't age well. I like dragon quest swords but it is a shame no switch/3ds port that fixed thrusts and had multiplayer. Thanks for stating the dq2 appeal; makes me want to play.

You didn't mention the sages/class system, with going jester as a self-inflicted challenge that is rewarding. For its time to have that replay value is great. Thanks for mentioning day/night and how it's better than the previous 2 that people criticized the site's reviews. However, no mention of pachisi (sugoroku board game)/mini medals? No point buying if not in it.

Re: Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training Is Making A Glorious Comeback On Switch

MrVariant

@nintendolie That is sad and another reason I won't bother with a switch lite. Biggest problem i had with brain age is it doesn't randomize activities as Elevate would do (though they stopped updating and was way too expensive at over $100). I'll still respect the attempt and unlocking everything lol devilish training was crazy I admit. Does help the aging process with non-gamers I believe too.

Re: Nintendo Files Lawsuit Against ROM Website Offering Nearly 300,000 Switch Downloads

MrVariant

@Kalmaro lol you still arguing this? Only prob is selling the roms. Sorry Nintendo is always 2 steps behind with this. 3D Excitebike can't even upload tracks and the remake is only wiiware. 3ds dying means they will shut down stuff like Mario vs donkey Kong tipping stars for level uploads too. If people make a private server I'll happily enjoy it, much like phantasy star online.
We're also at an age where game developers can pull their digital stuff and nobody owns anything so whoever bought is stuck unless they have digitally stored it somewhere.

Re: You Can No Longer Get 3DS And Wii U Discounts From My Nintendo In Japan

MrVariant

@MartyFlan yeah lol cheapskates on my birthday, only the same most popular games get discounted (but not too popular lol let alone every search says no switch). Did get 300 platinum points at least.

Damn new month, did get warned my points expire 10/31/19. Though I only have a 3ds (play switch games on friend's system). Shopping tetris here we go Untitled

This cowboy's going for one last ride as Tien would say in his last stand vs Nappa. https://youtu.be/MlZ_aro9nDk?t=49
