@MrGamerClock64 yeah I felt the brain training games helped with this though none of them continuously updated like elevate. I also preferred elevate's randomness as doin the same minigames got old. Not sure what Nintendo is trying to do.
@Tyranexx I agree. Just like how I don't want a phablet, I prefer the smaller model too. Not bad for $100 with a few games when i bought it a few years ago on ebay. People are now selling the original 3ds model for $50 on ebay. Why pay $200 at this point? I think there is an amiibo add-on If you are into that, and new 3ds I think was mainly super nes (just get the classic if you don't want to emulate) and Xenoblade Chronicles.
Then there is the switch if you want most recent. I feel the late 3ds versions are similar to the game boy micro at this point, but at least they don't take away backwards compatibility with the original ds (as micro did with gb), though it would have been nice to upload warioware DIY games/comics/songs today.

Re: Former Project M Devs Unveil Icons: Combat Arena; It Sure Looks Like Smash Bros
Oh sure, this is a clone like the 10 Ike's in smash bros. If there aren't so many swords nor tiny levels I may try it
