@fafonio Exactly, people seem pretty misinformed on it. From my understanding they didn’t even make it. Is was some French award winning movie that they bringing to the service. Now, Netflix’s marketing for it is kind of messed up when you compare it to the originals.
@Snatcher Kind of? Obviously the gameplay is different, as you're trying to hit pitches instead of different dance moves. But the yearly releases filled with some popular songs from that year, yeah pretty much just dance but singing.
I have the hero pass for Minecraft Dungeons, so I'll be playing that when it comes out. Can't wait for The Skywalker Saga, looks really good and seems to have every character you could possibly want.
I've been regularly playing Minecraft Earth. It's still in early access, so it really isn't that big, and it was fairly barebones and filled with bugs when they launched it. But it's shaping up to be a really great game when it fully releases.
@progx Yeah, they’re probably hoping/realized that people are willing double dip on all their games to have it on release and portable. They most likely don’t announce switch versions for that specific reason.
@Bunkerneath Yeah, exactly what Reprise said, hopefully if the rumors of this were true, then we get the “something bigger” next week. Which might be a direct. I wouldn’t refer to an indie showcase as a direct, as they are two very different things, and I don’t understand the people who do.
@Zuljaras Cyberpunk might not be eligible this year. Last year the cutoff was November 15, and cyberpunk comes out the 19, so we’ll see it that date changes and it makes it. Because if not, Animal Crossing might just actually win, which seems crazy to me, as we’ve never really had anything that’s not some sort of action adventure if I’m remembering correctly.
3D World Deluxe should be announced in the next couple of months if the insiders are correct, and then we’re really just waiting on the Zelda remasters, which will hopefully be released for Zelda’s 35 anniversary, and a xenoblade x port.
@PikaPhantom I may be wrong here, but my understanding is that Mojang developed the base game and double eleven ported it to consoles and developed the DLC?
Ive had three x rocker chairs in our gaming room for around a decade, so as much as I’d love to buy these I won’t. The chairs are comfortable and high quality though.
While Nintendo's games themselves are many times higher quality than those offered by their competition, I don't believe they have as large as a budget as many third parties spend on titles with high amounts of cutscenes and realistic graphics. So while I would understand a price raise in next gen titles, Nintendo's games, while amazing, aren't next gen, and therefore should stay the same price. Not to mention Nintendo games hold their value, while many other games are $40 or less a year after launch, so the $70 initial price is only for those that want it at launch. On a separate note, I don't think any paid games should ever use microtransactions. You paid for the experience up front, and shouldn't be asked to pay more to win, or unlock cosmetics.
If they release Zelda designs of this, I might buy one. Really loved the look of the botw Link and Zelda ones they previously made, but those weren't rechargeable, which was a deal breaker.

Re: How Well Do You Know Metroid?
I’ve played 10 minutes of super Metroid and that’s it. Thus I got 4/12. I really want prime trilogy on switch so that I can improve that score.

Re: Has The Chibi-Robo Studio Skip Pulled The Plug On Development?
They shouldn't have bet the series on Zip Lash. That game blows.
Re: We've Had LEGO Mario, Could This Fan-Made Breath Of The Wild Link Be Next?
@shaneoh Ah, I didn’t realize they posted the review results. That stinks
Re: We've Had LEGO Mario, Could This Fan-Made Breath Of The Wild Link Be Next?
@shaneoh Last I heard, the stable was still under review, unless I missed something and it got denied?

Re: Poll: So, What Was Nintendo's Best Year Ever?
2017 has some of my favorite games of all time, so I chose that. Runner up would be 1998 for me.

NA/Europe shows the puzzle aspect better. Neither one is really bad though.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel #53 - Tetris
The buildings on the Japan one look out of place to me.
Re: Poll: No, Really, What Was Nintendo's Worst Year?
The unholy trilogy. Animal Crossing amiibo festival, Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, and worst of all. Chibi Robo Zip Lash. That’s all that needs to be said

Re: Hori's Pac-Man Split Pad Pro For Switch Is So Gorgeous We Want To Gobble It Up
@BigJoeCool @NinjaSyao Wouldn’t any game that needed use the switch’s on board gyro? Or does it not work that way.
Re: Hori's Pac-Man Split Pad Pro For Switch Is So Gorgeous We Want To Gobble It Up
@dewokkel Yeah, I guess you’re right, it wouldn’t really matter
Re: Hori's Pac-Man Split Pad Pro For Switch Is So Gorgeous We Want To Gobble It Up
Really wanted the split pad, but I personally didn’t get into daemon x machina, so I wanted to see if we would get a generic design. This is better.

I believe the switch is now stable enough that Nintendo could build their servers out of them. No more disconnects
