Love the card game. Just recently got back into it. It is expensive if you want a competitive deck just FYI, but once you get playsets of the staple trainer cards (energy is cheap and plentiful) all you'll need to do is get the Pokemon after that to have multiple deck builds.

Also don't even bother with booster packs, booster boxes, etc. unless you're collecting. If you're actually playing the game buying singles is wayyyyyyyyy cheaper. I would recommend a theme deck that fits your fancy and an elite trainer box to get started and go from there with singles.

All these clone consoles are trash. They can never get the sound right and some games just flat out don't work correctly. I bought one a few years ago and had to return it because it started smoking after 20 minutes of play!

@Nookingtons Happened to plenty of people with the NES Classic and they bricked it. How about you do some research buddy.

I will never understand hacking and potentially bricking these collectible consoles. If you want to play a ROM just emulate it on your computer and if the controller is a big deal to you buy an adapter...

Pokken sold 1 million on the Wii U, which is impressive considering how late it came out in the Wii U lifecycle. Saying Pokken "never did too well" on the Wii U is just FAKE NEWS.

Besides spending some worthless platinum points for 30% off Castlevania NES for my 3DS, the program has been a total disaster.

I love how people get so offended at my opinion of the game. If you feel it's worth $60 for a copy-paste of the first game then by all means go for it? Trust me I'm not alone regarding my opinion.

I love people who just grab, grab, grab. Especially with Ninjara, they think they're real slick with his disappearing act. Very predictable and just get destroyed by any competent player.

Have the game already on Wii U. If you didn't get it, then yes I would recommend it. For those like me however, $60 for 5 new characters and a 3v3 mode? No thanks...especially after they refused to offer DLC updates to Wii U owners.

It's a nice comfortable controller. I would recommend it if you play a lot of Pokken.

@Chanchozoka actually Pokken sold extremely well considering it was on Wii U.

Only has 4 games so I wouldn't have gotten it anyway.
