Do not buy any PDP controller. They are horrible. I got one for Smash and returned it the next day. They feel so cheap and the buttons stick.

Why is everyone getting bent out of shape on software? So far this year on Wii U we've got Bayonetta 1+2, Captain Toad, Kirby Rainbow Curse, and coming out this year Xenoblade X, Yoshi Wolly World, and Star Fox.....If you're really hurting for games, go out and get a 3DS XL they're pretty cheap now and has and excellent library of games.

Like a lot of people, I already have the game on Wii.

3DS is hands down the best portable system ever created.

This game imo was never meant to be played on a handheld. However, I'm glad they brought it out for those who missed out on the Wii version

Might be the worst week yet. Nintendo better step it up on the eshop because there really isn't anything coming out for a long while retail-wise for Wii U.

A joke as usual...oh well the massive amounts of coins I have on my Club Nintendo account are being put to good use. Just picked up Link's Awakening and Earthbound to keep me busy.

Just went out and bought the last physical copy of this game that I know of in my area upon hearing this news. Thank you Nintendolife for keeping me informed!

it boggles my mind how Nintendo refuses to limit the amount of adapters one person can buy. 2 should be the limit. Same with amiibo (2 of the same character).

I will always buy first party. I don't trust third party especially for Nintendo. Tried my friend's PDP Fight Pad...absolute trash compared to my official Gamecube controllers.

Extremely excited for Star Fox, Zelda U, and Yoshi's Wooly World!!! We'll have to see on Kirby though, doesn't look anywhere near as good as Triple Deluxe on 3DS.

Lost World on Wii U is a pretty decent game. The 3DS version however is awful imo.

What worries me is that Nintendo is being mighty conservative lately...the Wii U was a risk that didn't work out. I think Peter has somewhat of a point. I wouldn't say they've lost their way but they don't seem to be willing to take any risks right now, even though a risk might be needed to jumpstart the Wii U (make gamepad optional, price cut, massive Nintendo Direct only focusing on Wii U, etc.)

I don't usually shop for games at Wal Mart. I will though if their used game prices are significantly lower than Gamestop prices.

I was always going to buy Yoshi's New Island, I'm just waiting until April because nothing is really coming out next month.

3DS is Nintendo's primary console now, it's no secret...it sells extremely well. I'm very interested in Mario Kart 8 sales numbers. If MK8 doesn't move Wii Us nothing will.

I can't wait for this to come out. I bet the 3DS version sells much better than the Wii U version.

Actually, I 100% agree with him. I've said since the system came out I will not purchase it until they make the gamepad optional. If I want two screens when I play, I will play on my 3DS XL. I absolutely love the games I have played on the Wii U using the pro controller, but I will never use the gamepad OR own it. I just do not like it. I don't even like looking at it.

Umm....where is Sonic Lost World? Blacklist is an awful game imo....also how is Wonderful 101 ranked so high while NSMBU and Lego City ranked so low? Both games are far better than Wonderful 101.

It pains me to say this about the WIi U, but as Porky Pig once said "That's all folks!" Seriously, the Wii U is about finished. When a MAJOR first party release doesn't even sell 50K in it's first week, in it's home country.......I don't know how else to put it, and this is coming from a borderline Nintendo fanboy.

@Funny_Moblin My friend has one, and I've beaten Mario 3D World playing on the gamepad (mainly because he also does not want to use it, haha). To each their own, I don't have a problem with people liking the gamepad, I just think they would sell a hell of a lot more consoles by making it cheaper and for people like me who do not want it. They made a 2DS? So why can't they make a Wii U without the gamepad? DKTF doesn't even use the screen?

It'll be a rubbish game as usual. No point in getting hyped about another bad game.

I feel the only way they are going to be able to move systems is by drastically lowering the price. If the gamepad needs to go in order to do that, then so be it.

@2Sang They seem to be putting all of their resources into 3DS. I cannot wait for Kirby though! Next should be a 2D side scrolling Metroid (Metroid 5)!

Never gave a crap about this. If I want to play Wii Sports I'll fire it up on Wii. Nintendo keeps making mistake after mistake...hopefully 3D World will be a major success

Sorry, Wii Party U isn't going to move millions of consoles. However the blind apologists will say otherwise. Sigh, back to my 3DS to actually play games...

@wombatkidd Clearly you missed the point about the 3D Mario World. My main issue was that it took them so long to create this when it should have been ready months ago. Same with the Virtual Console. Every game that was released on the Wii should already be available on the Wii U VC. The fact that they do not have a unified account system after Microsoft and Sony have had them for YEARS just boggles my mind.

@Artwark EA buys those indie companies and shuts them down because they dare to do something DIFFERENT. Screw EA and especially EA Sports for their rehashed BS every year!
