My "wildest hope" is something from Bayonetta 3! No BotW 2, no Metroid Prime 4, no Donkey Kong. I am not expecting much, just because I want to keep my hype low on purpose and be genuinely surprised if something comes out.

Love this game, and consider it one of the best, if not THE BEST, title to introduce kids to Zelda franchise.
You've got everything the series is known about: two "universes", puzzles, items, side-quests, exploration, very nice soundtrack, cool characters... Man I wish I had my 3DS here to play it again!

@TheFullAndy completely agree with you. Such feature should not be behind a paywall. When it's something like extra random items, or a simple skin, I don't mind. But that's a whole QoL that they could make available.

I loved Metroid Samus Returns and really enjoyed the first Lords of Shadow (did not have the opportunity to play the other entries)! So I think they are able to release a good game, be it a new IP or not

I really enjoyed Rune Factory 1 and 2 on the DS, but the "farm simulator" game I played the most was Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town in GBA. Different times back then, still a kid/teen in school, could spend the whole day chilling on the hammock with my portable system... Oh the memories! xD

I don't know if the now adult me will have the time available to enjoy this entry, but I'll keep an eye on it.

While I see this as a game that for me works better in digital, it is a stupid decision not to release a physical version in Europe. We should all get the chance to experience the game the way it suits ourselves better.

Physical and digital are DIFFERENT, but I don't see that one is superior over the other.

@Pikka Use it as a motivation for your kids to learn English. It was through games that I developed a lot my knowledge of this foreign language, and it is a really useful skill for life. Not only English itself, but training how to learn new languages.

In the electronics industry there is what we call "accelerated aging stress tests". Considering RPG in the way we nowadays define a VIDEOGAME GENRE, I would say it is not. It may have elements that define a RPG, but at its core it is an Adventure game.

For another example, I consider Monster Hunter an Action game, while many others say it is a RPG.

The thing that got the most surprise out of me was Smash DLC. I recognized the clip was Xenoblade related the moment the clouds appeared, than I thought "no way Xenoblade 3?" than all the silly story about Pyra missing wasn't making any sense and I moved to "okay, a second Xenoblade 2 DLC?" and finally it blew my mind hahahahaha

Edit: I mean, I wasn't expecting Splatoon 3 AT ALL, but the presentation for Pyra in Smash played way more with my expectations

Two new games I'm looking forward to are Project Triangle Strategy aka Octopath Tactics and Splatoon 3. And I'm really glad that both come out only by 2022, truly! Starting next month, Monster Hunter Rise will occupy my free time a lot

This coming Sunday my favorite series, The Legend of Zelda, turns 35. I would love a collection of sorts and for sure some update on BotW sequel. But I'm guessing we will have some new content for Age of Calamity

Reading the review, a 10/10 score seems incorrect. But definetly a must-buy for those who never played when the game originally released to Wii U.

The aesthetics were appealing, and now that I watched the trailer, the soundtrack seems really good as well
