Im still interested in the game and know full well what I’m getting into with the Switch port. However not purchasing right away with a glut of decent ports hitting the system; Bioshock, Catherine, and Burnout Paradise will take priority.

The picture of a terrified elephant and where to insert a mushroom is thoroughly unsettling.....

A week away and no notable footage of the game raise my doubts.

@NinChocolate I’d definitely take it. I’ve considered getting a Japanese 3DS just a little Thunderforce 3D.

Kokuga would be nice, I’d really like to see the 3DS version of Steel Empire.

The second update is sloppily written and even more vague than before. I wanted to give these guys a chance but will probably pursue a refund.

Operation Logic Bomb is a surprisingly decent overhead shooter where you navigate a maze-like military base. Wild Guns is good but the updated release destroys the original. Rygar......always felt like it worn on with lengthy levels.

Princess Peach joining the Borg sold me instantly on this.

The 90’s Euro shooter graphics look fantastic, definitely checking this out.

Is Crysis still worth it today? I’m not trying to troll. Most people I know who have played it cite the graphics, not gameplay.

Possibly my most wanted Switch port right, can’t wait to relax with it.

I played the first two on PS2 and swore they had issues a plenty. Seems more like a small team not having the expertise to handle large, reactive set pieces. Still interested though.

Eh I’d take Switch ports as none of the games listed would tax the hardware and I’d have them on the go. With Sega’s less than amazing financial report a few weeks back I could see this as a good boost to revenue.

I’m insanely impressed that they opted to put the game on cartridge. If the game shapes up decently portwise they have my money.

It’s great Nintendo and Platinum came to this agreement. Doubting they will let go of Astral Chain or Bayonetta 2/3 so easy.

The arcade edition is easily worth it for Gaiden alone but I agree the additional home port edition isn’t worth the money to anyone but the most diehard shooter fans. Still wish they would have squeezed in the PC Engine Super CD port of Darius II.

This and SMT Strange Journey are only JRPGs of the past decade that I could muster seeing all the way through. Amazing game, still boot up the music sometimes when working.

Great article, mildly depressed that half the games are not privy to a physical release.....

I’ve been hoping Devil Engine would see a physical release, hopefully this mess gets resolved in positive manner.

I loved the DS and Wii era, part of which was due to Iwata’s brilliant directs and making gaming about fun and not tech specs.
