The base number of characters is perfectly fine by me, if you are a diehard Marvel then DLC your heart away. I’m just happy Nintendo resurrected this series, it seems like a great fit for the console and could not have been cheap to procure the rights.

We live in a great time for retro themed titles. This, Gunlord, Cybershadow, Ninja Warriors....16 bit era goodness.

I’m actually impressed with Nintendo highlighting third party content. It drove me nuts during the Wii and DS era where great exclusive third party games like Zack and Wiki, Henry Hatsworth, Little King Story etc never made a blip on Nintendo pr.

This is the developers of Xenon Racer? Dear god. I really do hope this kids parents are keeping perspective and above all his education in mind.

For a bit of perspective, Japanese publications at its release gave the game 7s and 8s.

Seriously it’s finally out? I’ve had a preorder for this since last October.

Looks like the Cuphead team tackling a full on hori shooter with some OK sprite work. I’m not instantly impressed but maybe worth a look?

Excited for this as long as the port goes well....especially those “seamless” load times.

If MS and Sony want to continue groping for a smaller number of triple A franchises littered with grinding, micro transactions, obstructive background online features then by all means please do. I’ve honestly gotten bored with most current gen titles, many feel bloated and lacking compared to the more imaginative and experimental indie market. I won’t begrudge PS5 and Scarlet users but also can’t help but notice the diminishing returns that seem inevitable with both systems. Thank you Nintendo for still making these “toy” consoles or I’d be bored senseless by now.

I rarely pay much attention to corporate figures/personalities but Iwata was a great man. His death was a shock given he was consistently doing Directs and always in the public eye.

The trailer sold me, solid looking effort.

Honestly I don’t care about the models, there just something off about the facial expressions. They come off looking helpless or passive In slot of the footage I’ve seen.

Dear god, there’s a mainline Pokémon for years end, a new Yokai ( for Japan) and a slew of other games. Animal Crossing would have been fighting its own console base for sales, the delay makes sense.

the wording for Atooi collection seems to point at this being the first 3DS game they will publish, safe to say more may be in the pipeline.

I’ll take PS3 360 ports on the go all day. Keep them coming.

Actually the Switch should kill it this year with mainline Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Yokai, and Animal Crossing releases. Personally I’m waiting for Astral Chain and Marvel Alliance.

Played it briefly yesterday. The day one patch does nothing if you ask me. A quick race in Tokyo highlighted the awful frame rate and graphic issues. In the intro as the game pans to a Japanese palace the textures don’t materialize for a few seconds. Even the intro CGI was stuttering. Very disappointed.
