Atooi recently reconfirmed its 5-in-1 Nintendo 3DS physical collection containing Mutant Mudds, Bomb Monkey, Xeodrifter, Mutant Mudds Super Challenge, and Chicken Wiggle was still on the way. In a follow-up tweet, the publisher Limited Run Games said it may consider more 3DS releases if this one is "successful" enough:
If the @AtooiLLC Collection physical release on 3DS is successful, we hope to do a few more 3DS releases. Keep your eyes peeled for more information! We won't be announcing a release date until we know when the game will be in-hand.
Before you start making requests, it's worth pointing out there are a few barriers. As explained by the owner of LRG, Josh Fairhurst - it can be a real challenge to find developers who are willing to go through with the entire process, when so many are focused on releasing new games for the latest platforms.
Of course, if you show your support for the upcoming release (which is expected to be region locked to North America), then LRG might try and release more titles for Nintendo's 3DS. What other games for this particular system would you perhaps like to see in physical form? Tell us below.

Biggest hurdle with this from a consumer perspective is that it looks like this'll all be region locked and only be playable on about more than 25% of 3DSes.
A Shantae and Risky’s Revenge two-fer would be a must buy for me
Lots of options there. The Guild01 and Guild02 series would make obvious choices. Kokuga would be an obvious choice. Senran Kagura Burst for us Americans who were saddled with a digital-only release of the game. The digital-only (in the West) Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies and Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice. I could go on and on all day.
Please don't do me like this, LRG, lol.
I've on just started buying from LRG. I felt a little let down after the Street Of Rage 4 multi release fiasco.
I'm not sure that I will support any more future titles.
I'm not a fan of a ' digital only' game only to discover there's a limited physical release later down the road once I've purchased the 'digital only'.
I wish Atooi every success though.
Wow a company says that if it makes loads of money it will be happy to do it again, how generous of them!
Kokuga would be nice, I’d really like to see the 3DS version of Steel Empire.
Not being multi region = not for me 😔
It sounds like they're manufacturing a finite number of 3DS games then, instead of doing open pre-orders. I can understand why, but I hope that doesn't get in the way of me securing a copy.
Might have bought if it was released in stores, but I'm not gonna order it from Limited Run.
Kinda forgot about that. I still wonder why they even bother with this, unless they also release european Cartridges or make them Region Free.
I still love the 3DS and seeing a couple more Retail Games on it would be cool, but i think that's not how it should be done.
Not to mention that i kinda don't like Limited Run Games anyway, but that has nothing to do with this Release.
Not for me, customs taxes + shipping from the US nearly doubling the price of the game for us Europeans are already a big deterrent, but paying upfront and only getting what you paid for six months later is another one. Then region locking is the nail in the coffin. I'll pass.
Can they ask Sega for the rights to 3D Classics Vol. 3? That would the right choice
@NinChocolate I’d definitely take it. I’ve considered getting a Japanese 3DS just a little Thunderforce 3D.
We need Ace Attorney Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice as physical releases.
Yes do this please! Anything at all!!! But I want an updated more in depth Bomb Monkey!!!
Was this compilation ever released?
@Rei It was, you can find copies on eBay for typically $40.
hey i'd like to publish a game on the 3ds eshop is it still possible?
