Re: Rumour: Guilty Gear's New Game Has Been Cancelled, It's Claimed

KociolekDoSyta

@Samalik Not everyone else, just some people call it a devolution. Other people love it and play it up until today and are just having fun with it. They don't care about dramas on the internet or anything like that. Also, Switch port is truly fantastic and they did incredible job with this.

This reminds me again about Ninja Gaiden, people saying don't play Ninja Gaiden 3: RE, just ignore it, go back to playing previous installments. In the meantime, for some people this game had the most satisfying combat out of all of them when they finally played it. I don't want to argue about anything. If it's not for you then it's fine, of course. They did changes, because they wanted to appeal to a broader audience and they did. Game is great and sold in over 3 million copies? That's a good number and GG is even more known franchise right now. Even my friend who doesn't play fighting games himself owns it and turns it on sometimes when I visit him. He says it's beautiful and that he likes the unique characters and the gameplay.

@BBBBBBBBBBB Oh wow, thank you. I never read anything like that about any of my comments!

Re: Rumour: Guilty Gear's New Game Has Been Cancelled, It's Claimed

@Samalik No, I actually started with the very first GG game available on PSP. All I can see is evolution, not destruction of the series. Evolution in a good way. You have great character roster, great story, music, it's beautiful (probably the most beautiful anime fighting game), it plays great and it's easy for anyone to just dive in to without any problems, while keeping almost everything from the previous ones. I'm aware of the community's hate for it, but I'm not one of em.

It's all just because of hardcore gamers, like with Ninja Gaiden series. Hardocore gamers and speedrunners saying that the first one is the best while the second one is actually the best one. Even Team Ninja knows that and released a remaster of NG2 Black and not the first one. I don't hate on games, I love them. If I don't like one, I just move on. There are 1000s of other good ones in a place of the one that I don't like.

P.S. All fighting games evolved, the only one that didn't was SoulCalibur, that's why 6th installment is dead. With this statement I would agree, but not with Guilty Gear being dead.

Re: Tony Hawk Reiterates Decisions Behind Song Choices In Pro Skater 3 + 4

KociolekDoSyta

If you don't know what it's about, it's about money! Just finished my weekend session with this game. I love it despite all the changes.

THPS 1+2 - 9.5/10
THPS 3+4 - 7.5/10

I'm so happy that this exists and that it's on Switch. Played in 60fps on my modded Switch with the original soundtrack (most of the time). Jesus, now this handheld has nearly everything that I could ever want to play. I'm selling my Ally X and leaving only Switch. The only actual console that I love to play games on. People who say that it's all about games are wrong.

Re: Review: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 (Switch 2) - A Welcome Reminder Of The Series' Glory Days

KociolekDoSyta

After over 10h of playing it almost non-stop, for people who played both originals in the past (especially 4th one) I'd give it 6.5/10. This is not what we expected looking at the portion from 4th installment and the soundtrack. It's more like a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.5 rather than 3+4.

For new people this will be 8/10, after playing 1+2 which was almost perfect and one of the most incredible remakes of all time. If you loved 1+2, it's more of the same with a brand new stuff added.

For me? As an owner of a modded Switch, I overclocked it and I'm getting 60fps almost constantly. There are drops is some areas, but mostly it's stable. I'm switchting soundtracks bewteen new and the old one. I like them both actually! 7-7.5/10 from me. I need to get some sleep now, but I'll be playing it for the rest of the weekend. I'm really happy that I get to play this, just like 1+2. It's still an amazing game!

Small break from this game and perfect timing to see the review! I was really negative towards the new formula of the 4th one and the soundtrack, but guess what? It's actually alright and I get it why they did it. Soundtrack is also good, except for just few tracks.

@The_Nintend_Pedant To be honest? I'm having a blast with it! If you were like me, a bit negative... it will all go away as soon as you'll start playing the new one. It's more of 1+2 and it's absolutely worth it. I'm happy that I didn't cancel this pre-order and I recommend it.

@Olliemar28 You might want to check this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZwXZ-4HLF8 from comments:

Digital Deluxe Switch 1 edition - gives Switch 2 free upgrade
Digital Standard Switch 1 edition - no upgrade
Physical Switch 1 edition - no upgrade"

Re: Round Up: The First Reviews Are In For Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4

@mikegamer And cost of licenses, seems like they didn't have a huge budget for it. In the past, I sent an email to Sony Music asking about a license for two songs that I wanted to use for an intro on a Twitch stream. The more popular one was insanely expensive, while the other one (less known) was actually affordable even for a normal person. I don't even want to think how much they paid for everything...

Re: Amazon Prime Day 2025 - Best Deals On Nintendo Switch Games, Controllers, 4KTVs, MicroSD Cards, And More

KociolekDoSyta

Very weak sales on Switch games, Prime Day is getting worse and worse each year. If someone found something interesting, don't forget that they give £20 for free when you order something directly from Amazon and at least for £100 (Prime Savings Earn £20, you need to have Prime). To get it you need to do three orders first, just make a pre-order on three things separately. You'll get the discount on your next order, use the £20 for things you want to buy and then cancel all pre-orders.

You're too rich anyway Bezos.

Re: Round Up: The First Reviews Are In For Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4

KociolekDoSyta

@Nintendo4Sonic Yes, but the problem is that this release is even worse than a demo that was available when it comes to content. Full game is around 20GB, so they would have to opt for a 32GB cart.

This is the last AAA game that I'm buying for Switch and one of three that I own in my collection which are not fully on cart. Enough of this. If it wouldn't be Tony, I'd cancel my pre-order right away.

Re: Round Up: The First Reviews Are In For Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4

KociolekDoSyta

To people who want to get a physical release for Switch 1. This is what you'll get when you'll boot up a game with a cart and without the required download:

"Download the Full Game

Foundry Free Skate and Tutorial are available to play now. A download is required to play fully Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 experience."

Required download is around 14GB, insanely disappointing.

Re: Furukawa's Defence Of Game-Key Cards Ain't All That Convincing

KociolekDoSyta

@Ellie-Moo I love them! I love my Switch and my physical collection. It's so nice to have them, put them inside, hold them and to know that they have a value to me, just myself. That there's a full game on it. I love physical carts starting from the first Game Boy era.

Exactly that and it's not about resell value, it's about our own value, just for us. Cheers!

Re: Furukawa's Defence Of Game-Key Cards Ain't All That Convincing

KociolekDoSyta

"I'm concerned that if third-party titles using Game-Key Cards don't sell well, it will discourage third parties from supporting the Switch 2"

Whose fault is that when it comes to your "physical drms"? Invent something stupid and then cry about it. At this point, digital is the better choice than this waste of resources. Either digital or full physical, no in between.

In the meantime, my Switch 1 physical collection just reached 300 games, fully on cart.

Re: Poll: What's Your Switch (2) Game Of The Year So Far?

KociolekDoSyta

For me so far it's absolutely The Hundred Line, I played it like crazy. Next would be Capcom Fighting Collection 2 and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 in adavnce. As much as I'm playing games on my Ally X... I'm just happier when I boot up physicals on Switch and play in tabletop mode. I love my Switch
