Bummer it wasn’t quite where it can, be. Other great options out there for indie players as already stated. Retro Bowl, Axis Football 2023. Unfortunate some man-children can’t keep their tirades out of video game chat.

Oh man take my money. The original was an absolute masterpiece. 7/10 gimme a break lol. Not too worried about Quake II staying the course. These couple Quake-con shadow drops have been great.

About time. My battery lasts a good 30 minutes at this point lol. V1 battery life was just awful on some titles.

Day/Night is indeed part of the charm imo. What a dev though? Been more amped for this and the previous update than some AAA titles.

@jkirchgessner07 Personally? Don’t really care either way. Just calling it as I see it. I don’t use NL solely for my big N news or reviews. I’ve yet to feel I owe them my money. I had no interest in the program as is. I know NL seems to do this often, like many; and I don’t view this as a deal at all. Just ad revenue. So really, just a “win” if we’re splitting hairs.

But the hustle isn’t lost on me. People need to eat. Nothing worth having is free. Just found it more akin to telling a GameStop employee 18 times i don’t need to protect my new release for 3 bucks, is all.

Would even guess I’ve generated them revenue in ways I’m not even aware of. Go figure.

It’s come about quite a bit for anyone still interested. Active devs, community support, etc. Took a chance on Session a few days ago as the sale had the bundle for 30US and it’s pretty clear an inferior version was reviewed here; and briefly at that. It’s also a total passion project in active development.

It still has issues, no doubt. But a 5 is silly. More like a 6-7. 8 if you were a Skate fan. 5 if you couldn’t clear the tutorial, maybe? Lol.

Please no more running across freeways.

Hope we at least get a remake/remaster of a couple classics. Not a watered down mobile game. That said I doubt anything truly new is coming out until some new hardware does.

Advance Wars Re-boot 1+2. In a sea of “remasters” Nintendo finally did right by this beloved franchise with a proper Remake. Not a fan of the MP but eh.
