@RenanKJ But the difference is that consoles aren't used for anything except gaming, so they excel at what they do. You cannot do more with phones than they allow you. That's like saying tables are great for any games just because people use them to play board games. Now, of course, there is a certain potential that I simply cannot imagine, and I admit that it's arrogant of me to just assume nothing better can come out than what exists now when my very viewpoint isn't very willing to expect anything from mobile gaming than what I hate it for, so I apologize about that. But at the same time, I highly doubt that Nintendo has a genius idea on how to advertise consoles to an audience that mostly doesn't care about dedicated gaming at all. Think of it like this: if the mobile games they put out work for mobile gamers, the players have what they want, and don't bother with consoles. But if the mobile games are just an appetizer for console games, it would be misleading, and console games differ greatly from what the mobile market offers, so people would feel like they were lured into getting a system they don't enjoy. Or, we'd end up with Nintendo making mobile-quality games for consoles to keep mobile gamers busy, which is a frightening thought to me. No matter how hard I think about how this wouldn't backfire for either dedicated gamers or Nintendo themselves: someone will lose in the end. The markets are too different, the audiences are too different, and forcing two completely different communities together has a historical track record of failure.
@Einherjar The SSGSS thing was a mistake from Funimation for the localization of Dragonball: Xenoverse, and by extension, Battle of Z. They called the Saiyan God "Super Saiyan God" despite never having been called that by Toei Animation, but the folks at Toei are lazy goons and never bothered to tell Funimation until they gave them the localization right for the "Resurrection F" movie. Funimation had no other idea than calling it Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan - which is by now actually confirmed to be "Super Saiyan God"... and now my head hurts...
@RenanKJ Your argument ends the moment you realize that PC's can be upgraded or expanded with whatever you want, meaning you can build a PC to fit any specific needs. But with phones, you're 100% reliant on what the manufacturers offer you, and that's not much. I'm not even talking about performance (most phones vastly outperform the 3DS), I'm talking about peripherals. A touchscreen and a motion sensor are the very definition of "casual" control schemes, and they're borderline useless for any kind of action title due to the lack of control feedback. People can argue all day that stuff like GTA and even Monster Hunter on mobiles proves otherwise, but the controls in both games are absolutely abysmal compared to the console versions. Same goes for any game that isn't a simulation or a different kind of "passive" game. So no, Phantom Hourglass wouldn't perform well on a phone, though Layton, being a point 'n click game, would (obviously enough).
@MrGuinea Which is why I'm using a fair number of programs to cover my tracks. IP rotation, cookie block, anti-trackers, you name it. Plus, I'm using multiple programs to send several random search queries at once whenever I'm forced to use Google search in order to mess up their IP profiling.

Fragments of the nature guardian that got separated and died among the whithering plants, while this last one might still be enough to reawaken Zygarde. @shani I got the demo as well, but I wasn't having fun playing alone at all. The demo stages were obviously meant for multiplayer, since they're comparably large, but uneventful overall, and I felt like something was missing while I was playing (the thought of looking to the left and right of the couch with that thought makes the situation kinda melancholic, but eh). Most of my friends who have a WiiU didn't dowload it at all, and they weren't even interested in trying it, but after showing them this trailer, they got curious.

@Wonky_Kong No, no they didn't. People were annoyed with motion controls, because many games shoehorned them in, but executed them badly. Skyward Sword was a very divisive game on that aspect, with some people saying the motion controls were amazing, while others found them frustrating. Besides, the WiiMote was a controller, and it was up to developers how to use it, but most importantly, it was made for gaming, and it was used exactly for that. Phones are not. Phones are mainly intended for communication, and the latest models fail at even that. But the bigger problem is that they don't support gaming at all. Even Nintendo can do what they want, but they cannot overcome the inherent limitations that come with a piece of tech that's supposed to be good at everything instead of excelling at something. What more than average games can you make on an average platform that was never intended for games to begin with? It's like the boiling hot car hood: just because you can fry an egg on it doesn't mean you can cook a full-course meal, as well.
Well, that's a stupid notion if I ever heard one.
Mobile "gaming" cannot change beyond the limitations imposed by hardware. Smart devices are supposed to make the manufacturers as rich as possible, so they use easily breaking parts and unique stuff so the only way to get them repaired is the grossly overpriced repair service of that very manufacturer. In addition, more and more smart devices abolish the ability to upgrade, building the battery into the phone to make it unremovable, plus the trend of SD Cards losing not only their usability, but also with self-centered pricks like Apple "inventing" an arbitrary format to grub even more cash.
The general thing many people seem to miss is that mobiles do not exist in any way for entertainment. They exist for surveillance, ripoffs, and content control (which is very clear when comparing communication quality of smart devices with old mobiles, which have unbelievably superior connection and sound quality) - gaming is a byproduct that came out of the mere possibility, not because it's actively supported.
Even Nintendo cannot change this direction, no matter how many mobile games they make. It's a lost cause the moment it's attempted.
@TurboTEF That's one of these pretentious arguments that are completely worthless. Is it really my fault when the game is an unbelievable slog to play until at least Level 20? If Squenix is too incompetent to make a game interesting from the start, that's not something you can hold in favor of the game. Besides, I've looked at several videos of higher-leveled people to see if I'm missing anything, and I almost started laughing at how lazily similar to previous FF games the environments look. As for the story, same thing as with the gameplay: if the start sucks, the story lacks an elemental aspect to convince me into paying it more attention than my breakfast (and I don't even eat breakfast).
The trailer is a lot of fun to watch! I didn't expect the game to sell me purely because of the multiplayer, but as soon as I can convince a few friends, we'll get this together! Hopefully the netcode is good - nothing hurts more than a lag-assisted kill. Also, hooray for Unity-chan!
@SPLAofTOON I dealt with FFXIV for several days by using the 14-day trial, and I couldn't find anything interesting besides the character creator. Boring environments, dull combat, a story FFXIII-levels of pointless, and some really annoying interface overload (which had to be solved by wasting almost an hour of reassembling HUD elements) - this game is a very typical MMO that has absolutely nothing unique going for it. I've seen almost everything in the game done better elsewhere, and a fair number of counterexamples are even F2P. I won't deny the possibility of this game being fun to people (I mean, people have fun playing The Order, so anything's possible), but a genuinely good game from Squenix is something that can only be worded in past tense.
This data hinting at playable Octolings sounds like a second story mode to me. It could either tell the story of the zapfish heist from the octarians' viewpoint, or maybe become a followup story to the end of Hero Mode through which Octolings might actually become a new aspect of Inkopolis. The possibility alone has me really excited! But I'm rather certain that they're going to be individual characters instead of a costume set, simply because all required voice samples are already available, and keeping them for Hero Mode only would be a waste. As for the weapons, I'm actually a bit confused that it's entirely splatlings and sloshers, with just the Octoshot being part of a different weapon class. I don't think it's a particularly good idea to support the new weapon types too much, since that raises quite some bias - though I'm sure there are still weapons in the main game's code that were discovered, but not released yet, so I might be overthinking it. But the new map is... weird. I gotta get a more detailed look before I can judge, so all I can say is that I'm curious.
Why is Super Mario Maker considered a casual game? Why does the term "social" get lumped together with casual games instead of mobile? How were these awards decided? Why would anyone care about germany's view on gaming? So many things about this make no sense, but what made absolutely no sense at all was the DS3 hype - yet at the same time, the Souls series has one of the most eccentric fanbases of all time, so I shouldn't be surprised. Still, gamescom degraded itself to a throwaway gag over the last few years, so whatever...
The update overall is pretty good, but nothing groundbreakibg - which is unfortunate, since I was hoping to see some bigger changes/additions than two weapons. Though I gotta say, the adorable winning animation with the Heavy Splatling is part of the reason I'm relentlessly playing it instead of switching back to my .96 Gal.
They better merge this. Having to decide on the path, difficulty, and available characters all even before having a chance to play the game and get familiar with the setiing was an enormous jerk move. I won't get it, either way, but at least they get real in europe.
@PlywoodStick I see. So there's an actual full relationship possible? Because as I understood it, the relationship was basically a fraud to manipulate the other side. That said, GameFAQs tends to get their resources from very questionable choices (like reddit and tumblr, which already overbloated a supposed case of drug-induced manipulation, which turned out to be a case of lacking translation skills and mistakening a fetish for something bigger). I'll look into this some more - and if it actually turns out to be as you said, I owe a whole lot of apologies to some people...
@Bagels But that's exactly where you miss the point. America's impressions of morals differ from Japan's, but they are neither the norm nor are they in any way better than japanese viewpoints. You being unable to accept that your feeble standards aren't universal is what makes this such a problem. And to get more specific, at no point is incest ever encouraged in this game, or even possible. It flat-out doesn't exist in this game, period. No buts and no discussions, no "but they imply it". No, you interpret it that way, yet no such message is ever noted in the entire game, and not a single positive line about incest is provided at any point. It is nonexistant. Also, you're wrong about art. Sure, it doesn't exist outside of the rest of the world, but at the same time, it doesn't follow rules - there are no books about the "Universal Guidelines of accepted artistic content", so don't go making up rules based on your personal moral horizon. If morals had priority over art, many parodies would be forbidden, and half of greece's historical depictions alone would be scrapped for obscenity and depiction of rape.
Well, I'm not angry about the delay at all. In fact, I don't see the issue right now. They delayed the game, and people are complaining, okay - but why? Do they really want an incomplete game instead of waiting for the definite version the team is currently working on? This isn't even about the game's appeal, it's just about impatience from "fans".
Yes, saying that something optional "shouldn't be in the game" is petty, especially when it's just minor stuff that doesn't affect the main game in any significant way.
But stating that usual "if you don't like it, don't play it" excuse is just as petty. If something isn't well-made, even optional content, it deserves, no, demands criticism, period. If it's in the game, make it good.
This specific "feature" in FE:Fates is fairly minor, and nothing about it calls forth any substantial critcism, though. If anything, one might complain that it is just so inconsequential that you can basically ignore it, instead of making a bigger thing out of it (like obscuring the usual relationship levels, and having these small pieces of interaction to see if the character is ready for the "next level").
However, don't try to defend your half-baked Smash gimmicks, Sakurai. I agree that throwing everything out except for Free-For-All would leave Smash 4 as too barebones - but that doesn't make Ultra Smashes any less bad. Their execution is awkward, their usefulness in the game amounts to "distract the AI and newbies", and some of the characters use them for major annoyances, while others can't do anything with theirs. The same goes for many other aspects, but that's neither here nor there.
@Aromaiden I'm pretty sure that the only "incest" options are actually adopted siblings instead of genuine relatives.
@Bagels Dude, get ahold of yourself. This is as much of a pointless argumentation as the whole yay-violence-nay-sex deal in america. In japan, the age of consent is 14, which seems questionable to us, but not to them. That's how they decided it for themselves, deal with it, or join japanese politics.
Also, it's a game. Meaning it's entirely fictional. Nothing actually happens, nothing is being encouraged, nobody is being offended. You may not like this, but artisitic freedom is more important.
I'm still waiting for a certain event-only armor to become available. Hopefully it's among this update.
@Konda In terms of challenge, I'm not entirely sure, since I haven't fought Whitalis yet. But the Fatalis weapons at their final version all require Whitalis parts, and are absolute killer (almost all come with huge Blast Element, very good sharpness, and serious attack power).
The only reason I'm even interested in the DLC is Mona. I wanna know how she's involved with Plague Knight, everything else is just a metter of "play once, then never again", if it's made the same way as the main game.
This is a typical "Mexican Standoff" argument. Pranger definitely has a point, but so do the fans. Nintendo cannot simply risk investing in localizations that might not pay off, but at the same time, they vastly dramatize the costs of translating a game. These costs could be easily kept in check if the translation happened in tandem with game development. Also, the "Nintendo hates money" argument is largely due to the completely nonsensical region-lock, not just the lack of surprising games. But hey, it's not just Nintendo. Most companies are too cowardly by now to try and establish a trend, which shows when looking at the sheer number of genres completely absent or barely covered on the latest consoles.
I'm really easily bored of horror games due to their cheap jumpscare tendencies, as well as the lazy choice of "handing" you a nameless, faceless person to "represent" you when it's nothing but a camera with legs (and sometimes even hands). If that character was me, I'd just say "screw it" and go home - and if I was trapped, I'd start doing whatever it is to play against the rules. Or just sit around and sing "Splattack!!" to annoy the ghosts and monsters.
Fatal Frame is interesting for the same reason I found Silent Hill interesting: there's a lot of character to the whole story, with a very involving connection to the protagonist. I can't feel tension or even fear with a character that is "me", because all I wonder is why I'm not simply leaving. Having a different character as my responsibility wakes my protective instinct - I want to keep the protagonist safe, just for the sake of seeing what will be after whatever nightmare is happening in the game, especially if it's a smile.
That said, I really want that limited edition, but I'm not sure if the game will be good enough to actually keep me busy. Still, if there's a physical version available, there's no way in hell I'd settle for the download.
@rjejr Really, I agree with your viewpoint, but if that happened, it would end up turning into an enormously overbloated debate between the polite internet, the rude internet, and lazy parents who use modern media to keep their responsibility as low as possible. The internet's civilised part (or rather, the whole world) is powerless against the anarchy lurking around every corner, and bad things always garner more attention than positive news...
@rjejr I know, and I do agree that it should be enabled in private lobbies. But I also know that many young players accept friend requests blindly just to have more people in their list, even if they don't know anything about that other person, which might end up becoming an even bigger schock when one of those people suddenly showcases his top 10 ways to insult ones' mom over a lag-assisted kill.
@ollietaro Yeah, Tactics DS was just a chore to play through. But I think the isometric view is used in many tactical games only when they have height differences implemented as part of the damage and hit calculation. If it was top-down, it would be extremely difficult to see height differences properly (though there certainly are ways to work around such an issue).
The rules are somewhat well thought-out, so I might actually try this soon. Tower Control isn't really my strong point, though, and certain loadouts (especially ones with Bubbler, Splash Wall, or Kraken) might still be too powerful for 1v1.
@Sligeach This is the reason Splatoon has no VC. One of the developers said himself that he tried voice chat on various games, and in almost all instances only rude people were heard constantly flinging profanity at each other, so his concern are perfectly reasonable. Blame the players, not the game. Get TS, it's miles better than the awful GamePad mic, anyway. And if you want to set a game with somebody, Miiverse still allows posting, so try that.
The new weapons are really interesting, and show that the devs don't plan on just sticking to the Charger-Roller-Rapid formula.
With the Slosher, we get a much more aggressive weapon than any other. Coverage is a bit difficult to get a feel for, and mobility is rahter lacking, but this thing literally drowns anyone easily. And since the range is impressively wide without too much spraying, it's a reliable pressure weapon.
The Heavy Splatling is pretty much the polar opposite. Its range is insane, just like the fire rate and sheer power, but dare to rush into a battleground, and you won't even get to charge it. The charging period gives this weapon a very painful delay, so finding a safe spot or using a splash wall as cover is elementary to being effective with this monster. Also, you're very dependant on keeping your ink tank in check, because this weapon is crippingly useless for quick defense - if somebody's onto you, just try to run.
It's not fully clear yet, but I find these two new weapons to be very well-balanced and distinctively different from the available weapons. And playing either is a lot of fun! Hopefully, we'll see more versions of these, soon!
Sounds exactly like what Final Fantasy Tactics DS couldn't deliver: a good tactical RPG. CIRCLE once again got a really neat game from a small dev to us!
Awesome! I was fearing we wouldn't get a limited edition at all, so this is obviously getting ordered right away! However, I'm very surprised that Nintendo actually decided to release Xenoblade on WiiU VC after all. I didn't think that'd ever happen, considering the N3DS release.
@Aromaiden They said they'd support the game with free stuff for 6 months, if I remember correctly. What happens afterwards is what I wonder about, since I still see enormous potential for paid content in Splatoon.
I think Nintendo is both playing it too safe with DLC and marketing superficial content at the same time, so I find it hard to agree with Nintendo managing DLC well at all. Mario Kart 8 had a lot of stuff, but the overall package feels very empty when the game itself fails to deliver actual replayabilty. In addition, the characters are completely useless (blah blah blah opinions, blah blah blah choices, blah blah blah good price), and the only thing that actually expanded the scope of the game in any way at all was the (free of charge) introduction of 200cc. Smash has a very lazy DLC approach. Except for Ryu, all extra characters were (crudely) ported with nothing to make them stand out against their originals/clones at all. Sure, their metagame differs greatly, but that doesn't make their implementation any less lazy, and by extension, completely overpriced. The stages are mostly worhtless, so actually expecting money for the horrible N64 stages is a rather cheap nostalgia exploit. And the costumes, while looking neat overall, are also unreasonably priced considering you have to buy the same costume twice if you want to use it on both Smash games. As for Splatoon - is it fair to even call that DLC? Nothing actually gets downloaded, after all. It's just a small unlock code that marks the corresponting items/maps/weapons as available in your save file. Even the August update isn't DLC, it's an update. DLC corresponds to something entirely optional, not something mandatory to even access a large portion of the main game. Once we actually get stuff like cameo costumes/weapons or alternate hairstyles to pay for, that's when Splatoon actually receives DLC, but we don't even kow if the dev's will ever do that, as nothing was stated so far.
Okay, now that I'm done, let's see who's gonna hate me for my harsh and unfair viewpoint...
@moomoo @Aromaiden Probably, and I see the intentions behind that, but it still doesn't feel right to me.
@Cyber-BLP-- Can't say I know much about that, since I'm not part of a MS or Sony community. But I generally don't like it when people start attacking consoles for having/getting good games. XBone really needs some variety and profile, and the Rare Replay is a good way to get a bit retro action on it, when a lot of stuff on the console is catered towards the dudebro archetype.
Yeah, it's a grand shame we won't see this on a Nintendo platform, but I find the occasional "XBoners don't deserve this" attitude kinda selfish. They don't have anything like that on their room heater, and a good number of these games still provide surprising quality even by todays standards, and even moreso when compared to the current games of the very console it's an exclusive for (yeah, exceptions, opinions, blah, blah, blah). Personally, the only thing I find ridiculous is the price tag. This game collection should be at least 60$. The asking price greatly undermines the actual quality and value of most games in this very compilation, and I find that really disappointing.
Sounds like the game's taking a few steps up. With this update, I dare say Splatoon is ready for universal recommendations! Now, if you'll excuse me, it's time for me to prepare my clan...
Considering that this coincides with various claims from former Konami partners and employees, it's difficult for me to see this as a rumour, despite Nikkei seemingly not having any impacting proof at hand. But it also makes sense when you look at Konami's reactions to failure. Several of their IP's (some with quite legendary status) were shrugged off with a spinoff game before getting shot down completely (Castlevania, Suikoden, Busou Shinki, Boktai, Zone of the Enders, Silent Hill), which reinforces the claim that developers who failed with their game get the boot. And as many others before said it, this treatment of their own staff is simply despicable. The punchcard thing is no big deal (though the consequences are), but they basically kick their people when they're already down with all other reported measures. Unfortunately, most of these customs don't seem to be illegal in japan - their worker protection is really lacking, which is incredibly careless for a nation with such tight living standards.

Re: Splatoon Data Mining Brings More Weapons, a New Stage and Even 'Playable Octolings'
SPLATOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!

If the game wasn't so utterly boring, this would be a positive sign...
Re: Nintendo Scoops Three Gamescom Awards
Why is Super Mario Maker considered a casual game? Why does the term "social" get lumped together with casual games instead of mobile? How were these awards decided? Why would anyone care about germany's view on gaming?
So many things about this make no sense, but what made absolutely no sense at all was the DS3 hype - yet at the same time, the Souls series has one of the most eccentric fanbases of all time, so I shouldn't be surprised.
Still, gamescom degraded itself to a throwaway gag over the last few years, so whatever...
Re: Poll: We Want Your Views on Splatoon Version 2.0
The update overall is pretty good, but nothing groundbreakibg - which is unfortunate, since I was hoping to see some bigger changes/additions than two weapons. Though I gotta say, the adorable winning animation with the Heavy Splatling is part of the reason I'm relentlessly playing it instead of switching back to my .96 Gal.
Re: Fire Emblem Fates Looks Set to be a Single Release in the West, According to Amazon
@Tsurii But then what is the point of the two separate retail releases? I really don't get how that makes any sense...
Re: Fire Emblem Fates Looks Set to be a Single Release in the West, According to Amazon
They better merge this. Having to decide on the path, difficulty, and available characters all even before having a chance to play the game and get familiar with the setiing was an enormous jerk move. I won't get it, either way, but at least they get real in europe.
Re: Masahiro Sakurai Tackles Criticisms of Bonus Features in Games
@PlywoodStick Don't worry, that happens to the best. Sorry that the plot is down for you now, though...
Re: Masahiro Sakurai Tackles Criticisms of Bonus Features in Games
@PlywoodStick I see. So there's an actual full relationship possible? Because as I understood it, the relationship was basically a fraud to manipulate the other side. That said, GameFAQs tends to get their resources from very questionable choices (like reddit and tumblr, which already overbloated a supposed case of drug-induced manipulation, which turned out to be a case of lacking translation skills and mistakening a fetish for something bigger).
I'll look into this some more - and if it actually turns out to be as you said, I owe a whole lot of apologies to some people...
Re: Masahiro Sakurai Tackles Criticisms of Bonus Features in Games
Re: Mighty No. 9 Producer Shares Regret Over Delay, and Clarifies the Reasoning Behind RED Ash Campaign

Diabetes-betes-betes-betes! Too cute... must resist the moe.....
@GeminiSaint @DAO1988 Well damn. If there's going to be a slime-type monster, this accidental joke won't ever leave my head...
Re: Masahiro Sakurai Tackles Criticisms of Bonus Features in Games
Re: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate's August DLC Ramps Up the Challenge
I'm still waiting for a certain event-only armor to become available. Hopefully it's among this update.
@Konda In terms of challenge, I'm not entirely sure, since I haven't fought Whitalis yet. But the Fatalis weapons at their final version all require Whitalis parts, and are absolute killer (almost all come with huge Blast Element, very good sharpness, and serious attack power).
Re: Video: Three Reasons Why You Should Be Pumped For Shovel Knight's Plague Of Shadows Expansion
The only reason I'm even interested in the DLC is Mona. I wanna know how she's involved with Plague Knight, everything else is just a metter of "play once, then never again", if it's made the same way as the main game.
Re: Chris Pranger From Nintendo Treehouse Discusses Harsh Realities Of Localisation
Re: Talking Point: Fatal Frame's Trial Version and Limited Edition Highlight Nintendo's Shifting Approach to Retail
Re: Guide: Get Competitive with 1v1 Online Matches in Splatoon
@rjejr Really, I agree with your viewpoint, but if that happened, it would end up turning into an enormously overbloated debate between the polite internet, the rude internet, and lazy parents who use modern media to keep their responsibility as low as possible. The internet's civilised part (or rather, the whole world) is powerless against the anarchy lurking around every corner, and bad things always garner more attention than positive news...
Re: Guide: Get Competitive with 1v1 Online Matches in Splatoon
@rjejr I know, and I do agree that it should be enabled in private lobbies. But I also know that many young players accept friend requests blindly just to have more people in their list, even if they don't know anything about that other person, which might end up becoming an even bigger schock when one of those people suddenly showcases his top 10 ways to insult ones' mom over a lag-assisted kill.
Re: Review: Mercenaries Saga 2: Order Of The Silver Eagle (3DS eShop)
@ollietaro Yeah, Tactics DS was just a chore to play through. But I think the isometric view is used in many tactical games only when they have height differences implemented as part of the damage and hit calculation. If it was top-down, it would be extremely difficult to see height differences properly (though there certainly are ways to work around such an issue).
Re: Guide: Get Competitive with 1v1 Online Matches in Splatoon
Re: Video: Get Splatting with Splatoon's New Slosher and Heavy Splatling Weapons
SPLATOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!
Re: Review: Mercenaries Saga 2: Order Of The Silver Eagle (3DS eShop)
Sounds exactly like what Final Fantasy Tactics DS couldn't deliver: a good tactical RPG. CIRCLE once again got a really neat game from a small dev to us!
Re: Get a Taste of Upcoming eShop Goodness in This Awesome Sizzle Reel
Looking promising overall. Hopefully, we'll see these sooner than later.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles X Wii U Bundle and Special Edition Confirmed for Europe, Wii Original on the eShop Now
Awesome! I was fearing we wouldn't get a limited edition at all, so this is obviously getting ordered right away!
However, I'm very surprised that Nintendo actually decided to release Xenoblade on WiiU VC after all. I didn't think that'd ever happen, considering the N3DS release.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Game Updates and DLC Are Fantastic, Albeit Starved of Attention
@Aromaiden They said they'd support the game with free stuff for 6 months, if I remember correctly. What happens afterwards is what I wonder about, since I still see enormous potential for paid content in Splatoon.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Game Updates and DLC Are Fantastic, Albeit Starved of Attention
Re: IRONHAX to Use Free-to-Play IRONFALL Invasion to Run 3DS Homebrew and Region-Free Workaround
I'm glad that I won't have to import a japanese 2DS thanks to this, but man, not the best reputation for IRONFALL.
Re: Soapbox: It's A Tragedy That Rare Replay Isn't On A Nintendo Console
@moomoo @Aromaiden Probably, and I see the intentions behind that, but it still doesn't feel right to me.
@Cyber-BLP-- Can't say I know much about that, since I'm not part of a MS or Sony community. But I generally don't like it when people start attacking consoles for having/getting good games. XBone really needs some variety and profile, and the Rare Replay is a good way to get a bit retro action on it, when a lot of stuff on the console is catered towards the dudebro archetype.
Re: Soapbox: It's A Tragedy That Rare Replay Isn't On A Nintendo Console

@Tsuchinoko Obviously, otherwise Nintendo wouldn't bother with the IP, either... still don't care.
Re: Here's Exactly What's Changing In This Week's Massive Splatoon's Update

Re: Nintendo Is Licensing Hudson Soft IP From Konami
Hm, this doesn't look very interesting, so Konami might just have sold it off because they didn't want to do anything with it.
Re: Scathing Nikkei Report Hints At Shameful Treatment Of Staff By Dictatorial Konami Management

Nice, a Butouden demo!
Re: Take a Look at the New 'Green Blob' Pokémon
I assume it's some sort of "servant" to Zygarde, though it could be the 7th Gen grass starter, as well. But, it's nothing I can really care about.
