Gotta agree with Samus Returns. Very underrated game with some awesome music tracks (chozo laboratory is so good), and fun experience the entire way through. Also has great boss fights, with Diggernaut being the standout for sure.

FYI Amazon has the collectors edition back up! Order quick, just got mine finally. Ef the scalpers!

How is it 2023 and these developers still can't figure out how to make enough collectors editions so scalpers go out of business?

All lists are subjective, but sooooo much fun to pick apart. Personally, I think Undertale deserves a top 10 spot. I was very late to playing that game, but was blown away by it, especially the music and characters. Ace Attorney, Ogre Battle, I have odd tastes I'm sure, but I love games that do different types of things.

This was the most fun I've had with a strategy rpg since fft. Hands down. And that coda chapter 4 battle was legitimately an insanely hard final battle that I celebrated with scotch and cigar afterwards. I don't normally put over 100 hours in video games, but I as hooked the entire time. 9 out of 10 for me

Please, dear God, let that be a dungeon rising from the sand! Pretty sure Nintendo is addressing the biggest complaint from BOTW and I can't wait.

Weak bosses and enemy variety, and all dungeons being short and looking the same were minor complaints I think most had with BOTW. Looks like that's been addressed and then some. Incredible trailer, cant wait!

@the_beaver didn't see Gleeok? Seemed like a hint at returning back to bosses and dungeons. Maybe not, but the hope is definitely there now!

Loved these games, and after Tactics Ogre Reborn, I'm all for many of these tactics games getting improvements and released asap! Final Fantasy Tactics remaster is going to be amazing when it finally releases.

I would argue Breath of the Wild tried too hard to not be a Zelda game, dropping series traditions like huge dungeons, amazing bosses, etc. It obviously succeeded, but I hate sequels having to "change" stuff so drastically. It's a sequel because people wanted more of the same, just improved.

They could show Link staring at a wall for 10 minutes, and I'd still be excited for the game. I do want to know if it features proper dungeons and bosses, although since we are less than 2 months from release, I'm guessing they would have showcased that by now if it was in the game to generate more excitement 😢

Of course they make the OLED Zelda Switch after I just freaking bought mine 🤦

Spirit of Justice is available in physical edition, so don't feel a rush to snag it. Dual destinies is not, so get it asap, until the inevitable Trilogy 2

Any Zelda release is heavily anticipated by most... But I'm most curious to see if it has actual, epic dungeons and boss battles. I loved BOTW, but did miss the proper themed dungeons and inventive boss battles.

Easily wait for a 2 dollar sale for this one, unless we get a physical copy option of course.

Such a fun series, would prefer a brand new entry of course, but haven't played these in so long so I'm guessing it will feel new. All these remakes and remasters lately are awesome ... Prime, this, Tactics Ogre as well as Ghost Trick coming soon...

Eternal Darkness was unique for sure, but I'd go back to the N64 and want a remake of Ogre Battle 64. It's unlike any other game and deserves to be played by more people in my opinion. Tactics Ogre Reborn was excellent.

Cool article, never heard of so many of these. Danganronpa and especially Ace Attorney are just amazing, especially the music! Also, can't wait for Ghost Trick, which I would put on this category! Played it a while back and will definitely play through when released!

Such a consistently weird and wonderful game all the way until the end. One of the better "metroidvania" games I've played, and the atmosphere is definitely a huge part of what makes it so good!

Not my favorite due to the music and quick playtime, but it had some fun bosses for sure! I remember Fusion released when the original Prime was released, and I thought Prime would be horrible at the time. Oh how wrong I was...

@BenAV you're going to LOVE it. The twists and turns of the story are the best part, and the music is incredible throughout per usual with these types of games!

@SMW yup, Great Ace Attorney 1&2 I think of as one full game, and it's my favorite as well. All of them are just so good, and really hoping for a Ghost Trick sequel someday as well!

My favorite game series. Haven't been disappointed by a game yet. And this one had the best extra DLC case hands down with an awesome reveal at the end!

Never played a Persona game, but sounds like 4 is a good starting point.

To this day, Skyward Sword is the only Zelda game I didn't finish. I liked the controls, just thought the overworld, dungeons and boss designs were iffy, other than Koloktos of course! I really enjoyed Breath of the Wild, but it didn't feel like a Zelda game, so hoping this new one has the amazing overworld of BOTW, but adds unique dungeons and bosses. Also, if the Spinner ever makes a return, id be in heaven!

My first Fire Emblem was on my GBA, and I loved it and have been hooked ever since. Awakening was amazing, still haven't played 3 houses since my back log is so insane, so won't have time for this game til next year probably. Looks amazing as always.

My back log is insane, can't imagine having anymore quality games to play. But I will make time for Zelda, as I always do

I always forget DQX was even released. Would love to play it someday, as I finally got around to playing XI last year and was again reminded how much I truly love Dragon Quest games.

I have all the originals, thats enough. Square enix is an awful company that doesn't care about its fans at all, hence the horrible physical releases and collectors edition availability. It's just a money machine, and I'm done with them as a company. Haven't played any recent final Fantasy games since 13 and was so shocked by how bad it was that I just kind of gave up on them.
