The advantage to having a laaaaarge backlog is that I get all the updates of the released games and bugs fixed! This was awesome, finally got to play. I will say, get fast travel by donating 20k to the church ASAP; it makes life much easier.

For everyone that hates Metroidvania style games... Don't buy it. The rest of us love this stuff and apparently we can't get enough

I remember Bloodstained being so buggy on Switch, then finally improved so much with updates. Sounds like I'll have to wait for a few updates before trying this, but looks like fun!

Great Ace Attorney Chronicles got me the most. The music alone makes it worth playing, but it definitely tugs at the heart strings when you finally finish the final case of Resolve. Just so. Freaking. Good.

I loved the game, but the music was severely lacking, which is odd for a Metroid game.

I'm sure this is a stupid observation, but how would a new Switch help them with the chip shortage? They are crushing software, so I think they are good

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Hell, I'm one of the few that didn't care for Breath of the Wild diverting so much from proper bosses and unique dungeons, and apparently I'm in the minority. Not sure why their feelings are hurt; not everyone can like the exact same thing. I personally think it's great, but like with all games, it's all about the end experience.

Please lord, Ogre Battle, Tactics Ogre, and Ogre Battle 64 collection and I'll die a happy man after about 300 hours of pure gaming bliss.

Best music and experience you can have in gaming. Always AMAZING music, fun characters, and good haha moments. Can't wait for more!

Shooter plus metroidvania? Haven't seen many if any of these, looks awesome!

I'll never understand why, after Star Fox 64, they didn't stick to the spirit of the franchise that obviously worked. It's an on rails, auto strolling shooter... Not a Zelda, or a strategy game, etc. It's like Zelda 2...not necessarily an awful game... But not really Zelda.

Sounds like the reviewer needs a break from this genre of game.

Dragon Force from Saturn was awesome too, hope we get that someday along with Saga!

SNES, but that's probably my childhood talking. Still, Final Fantasy II (iv) and III (vi), along with Ogre Battle, Mario Kart, Super Metroid, Link to the Past, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana... Good lord, the memories.

Still kind of angry about the lazy boss near the end of the game before the final boss. Was basically a normal enemy but had some different attacks. The others were great, but that one was surprisingly easy and boring, felt like they just gave up. Final boss was at least tough tough.

And this is part of the reason I will always buy physical special editions over any kind of digital crap.

Disappointed for sure. Seems to be universally panned, and the original is such a fun game. May get it anyways, but wish it performed better.

@garfreek I'm not sure, it's been so long since I played. The music, the gambit system (once you figure it out, it's great), and the challenge compared to some previous games was just so good to me. Maybe I'm looking at it with rose tinted glasses, but it blew me away and I was crazy addicted to it.

This is far from bad news. Nintendo has a history of delaying games over and over, and it almost always means a 10/10 type of video game.

Zelda won't be ready this year.... They always take their sweet time, and it's hard to complain with the results normally, but I really hope they add proper dungeons and bosses to the new Zelda; then, it's perfection 👌

Breath of the Wild, but add about 10 fully realized dungeons with unique item, then mid boss and main boss for the perfect Zelda game. Only thing I missed were the awesome dungeons and huge, unique bosses in other Zelda games. Link to the Past or Ocarina are still my faves, but it's probably nostalgia talking

Still confused... I love Ace Attorney, but it feels like a video game, with lots of choices and decisions. This feels like literally just reading and not a game in any way.... so not sure I'd like it. Might try it because the reviews are so so complimentary.

A Zelda 2 modern remake would be cool... it's different for sure and feels the least like Zelda of all of them... even the abysmal Tri Force Heroes. Actually played that for 4 hours before I realized, this is bad stuff. Zelda 2 is just odd and really not great, like Castlevania 2 and Mario 2...glad all of them went back to their roots with the 3rd entries.

Makes me appreciate the effort Nintendo puts into their own remakes.

@garfreek I looooved the music when fighting the espers (I think that's what they were). I enjoyed the gambit system as well, took awhile to figure out but speeds it up. Agree with characters not quite being up to par, but I was lost in the game for weeks.

I have a true love for this series. I ordered Investigations 2 in English for cheap and played it on my old DS... such an amazing game also, and always, the music is top notch.

Oh wow, great topic. I have no idea if everyone considered it a bad game or not, BUT I loved Snake Rattle and Roll for NES, and none of my friends could play it haha

Such a weird Zelda. Twilight Princess is still my favorite, since it had the huge overworld, tons of unique dungeons, great bosses, and fun special items like the spinner. Having hero mode finally helped the way too easy difficulty. Skyward recycles too many environments and bosses, and just seemed off to me. Still better than most games, but my least favorite Zelda.

@NIN10DOXD yeah I use my galaxy phones and don't have issues, it's mainly people that accidentally leave it plugged in and on one screen overnight.

Absolutely. Samsung phones are notorious for this with their OLED models. Screens look nice, but those images can burn bad if left on by accident. not terribly worried, but it will absolutely be an issue

@Clammy man the easiest one I thought for sure was always Twilight Princess. Hero mode helped make it a little more challenging thankfully.

I remember when Prime and Fusion were announced on the same day... my mind was blown. I also thought Metroid would be awwwwwful in 3D, but was so thankful Fusion would be 2d, so I knew it would be good at least. Then I played Prime... just amazing how good it was.
