I'm a fan. I've loved most of their titles, Bayonetta 1+2, Metal Gear Rising, The Wonderful 101 and Transformers Devastation. Eagerly awaiting Scalebound and the TMNT game.
I have to say, I really enjoyed Lin's voice work. This lady has a distinctive voice. I couldn't quite place where I've heard it before, and googled her after driving myself nuts trying to figure out what she was in.
@JimmyFleck I can't use the first Splatling gun that came with the August update, but the Mini Splatling is great. Keep trucking with it, it's a decent weapon when learned.
@Firlow You obviously don't know how much effort it takes to make a product like this. It sounds rushed. That's a different thing than being utterly lazy.
I haven't gotten used to the Nozzlenose style weapons yet. I've seen them being used to good effect by others. There's still a lot of weapons that I haven't used at all. It's fun learning the different types.
I feel sorry for the dude. It is a very unfortunate situation. He did land himself in it, but he seems to be a very nice bloke. I hope he bounces back and he doesn't let this sour his view on the company. He sounds like a huge fan.
This is how you nurture a community. By giving them buckets and ridiculous headgear.
No seriously, GOTY for me so far. This game has kept me interested since the end of May. Great content roll out, wasn't initially sold on the way they were planning it, but I'm eating humble pie now.
I thought the direct was a mess. They created a lot of goodwill through the Earthbound release and Nintendo Championship before this, but it wasn't carried through to the main showing. There were a few good announcements, but ultimately, I wasn't impressed.

And I have to go back to work tomorrow. FML.
Re: Development is Progressing Smoothly on The Deer God for Wii U
It's meant to be a pretty bad game. I have it on the XB1, need to get around to trying it.
Re: Video: Soothe Your Soul With Some of the Calmer Music from Xenoblade Chronicles X

Re: Zink Mini Splatling Weapon Coming To Splatoon Later Today

Re: Xenoblade X Art Designers Created the Game's Armor Sets with Samurai in Mind
This game is fantastic. I've played 30 hours since Friday. That is insane when I think about it.
Re: Video: FAST Racing NEO's Hero Mode Melts Further Faces with an F-Zero Twist
This game looks ridiculous. I'll be keeping an eye on reviews for this and Steamworld Heist.

Re: Nintendo Is Making Female Characters Cover Up For The Western Version Of Xenoblade Chronicles X
I'm glad that they did this.
Re: Satoru Iwata is Awarded With Posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award at Golden Joysticks
Still a big loss. Nintendo have been a little too quiet since his passing. At least information is starting to trickle out now.
Re: Video: See Splatoon's Shiny New H-3 Nozzlenose D & Luna Blaster Neo in Action
I haven't gotten used to the Nozzlenose style weapons yet. I've seen them being used to good effect by others. There's still a lot of weapons that I haven't used at all. It's fun learning the different types.
Must say though, I am crap at the Splatling guns.
Re: Former Sony Exclusive PixelJunk Monsters Is Coming To The Wii U eShop
I've heard of this game, but being out of the Playstation console cycle for the last two gens, I have kinda missed it. Wouldn't mind giving it a try.

Not a great week.

Congrats to Alex!
Re: Video: This Performance From the Splatoon Band and Squid Sisters is as Cool as You'd Expect
@TeeJay Recorded vocals with a filter over them. And probably some pitch alteration thrown in as well.
Re: H-3 Nozzlenose Heading To Splatoon Tonight In North America, Tomorrow In Europe
@Torterror You have a lot of weapons to pickup! Hope you enjoy playing the game.
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th September (Europe)
I had no idea Etrian Mystery Dungeon is coming out this week. Sorry, going to have to wait, blew all my gaming budget already this month, ugh.
Re: Review: Sin and Punishment (N64)
This is a brilliant game. The level with the aircraft carriers is amazing.
Re: Gunman Clive HD Collection Will Shoot Its Way to North America, Europe and Australia Next Week
Day one. I haven't played the sequel yet, but the original was a blast from start to finish. Both games in HD is awesome.

I love these games. I'm going through Shantae and The Pirates Curse at the moment as well. Enjoyable game.
Re: Nintendo Download: 20th August (Europe)
@erv Abyss is pretty good. I had a lot of fun with it while it lasted.
Re: Video: Iron Maiden's New Music Video Pays Tribute To Donkey Kong, Of All Things
I love Iron Maiden. This song is definitely better than their last two lead singles (El Dorado was terrible).
Re: Xbox Boss Phil Spencer Acknowledges Nintendo as a 'Beacon' for First-Party Games
He got me back on board the Xbox train. They really turned it around.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Dismissal of Chris Prangar Highlights Issues With Company Culture
I feel sorry for the dude. It is a very unfortunate situation. He did land himself in it, but he seems to be a very nice bloke. I hope he bounces back and he doesn't let this sour his view on the company. He sounds like a huge fan.
Re: Talking Point: Fatal Frame's Trial Version and Limited Edition Highlight Nintendo's Shifting Approach to Retail
I would like the physical version. Is it available to preorder anywhere now?

Obvious Bomberman game is obvious.
I expect this will be Smash costume DLC.
Re: Video: New Japanese Splatoon Advert Teases New Weapons, Gear, Map & Rainmaker Mode
I have never been so excited about a bucket before this.
Re: Obituary: Satoru Iwata
A great man who will be missed. Still a bit shocked by this.
The puppets at E3 make a great deal of sense now. He probably wasn't physically fit enough to appear in a direct.
Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Nintendo's E3 Digital Event?
I thought the direct was a mess. They created a lot of goodwill through the Earthbound release and Nintendo Championship before this, but it wasn't carried through to the main showing. There were a few good announcements, but ultimately, I wasn't impressed.
Re: Review: Art Academy: Atelier (Wii U)
Is there a physical version of this for Europe? Or is it only digital?
Re: There's Another New Weapon Coming To Splatoon Today
God, I love translation services.
Re: Rumour: Could Female Link Be In Hyrule Warriors On 3DS?
The choice between a Female and Male Link should be the standard in every Zelda game.
Re: PlatinumGames to Unveil a New Title at E3
Vanquish 2, Bayo 3 or The Wonderful 102. I will settle for nothing less.
Re: Latest Wii U System Update Removes TVii On European Consoles, Piles On Stability Elsewhere
I forgot TVii was a thing.
Re: Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush Fails to Break Top 20 in UK Charts
I'm hardly surprised at this. Both games were released to zero fanfare and haven't really been advertised.
I did my bit though, Rainbow Curse is pretty good so far. I haven't opened Puzzle and Dragons Z yet.
